The house is beautiful and the back porch and yard are truly amazing with the river right there.
If you’re lucky and look carefully you might spy some mountain trout.

Cabin is quaint and wonderfully appointed. We enjoyed the beautiful river while sitting on deck and around fire ring. Had a great dinner in downtown Blairsville and also visited the Living Waters winery with stunning views. Highlight of trip was 1st Birthday party for Granddaughter at Vogel State Park.

The river location was great. The house was as described and tastefully furnished and decorated. The cleaning company left a lot to be desired. The back porch was great once we cleaned it. The furniture and grill were filthy with dust, dirt and cobwebs when we arrived. Do not leave food on the counters. We placed a box of donuts on the counter and woke up to a kitchen full of ants. We wiped the counters, sink and backsplash down several times a day but the ants kept coming back. There were no trash bags, the bathroom soap dispensers were completely empty, and the coffee pot had an old filter with coffee grounds covered in mold still inside. The owner was pleasant and mostly responsive and we did end up extending our stay a couple of days due to a last minute change of plans. We honestly feel we should have been offered a refund on the cleaning fee since we spent a great deal of our own time cleaning, battling ants and purchasing items that should have been provided.

This is one of best houses we have ever stayed at. Perfect location for a visit to Blairsville, Hiawasee, Dahlonega and all of the many wineries. There is also lots of hiking and antiquing to do. We also were so pleased with how friendly and welcoming everyone was.
The best part of this house is that it is located right on Nottley River. My husband and I had coffee every morning on the back deck watching the river and the wildlife, and a glass of wine at night.
We even watched fishermen float down the river and they even gave my husband excellent tips on how to catch trout. He was to used to catching catfish! Haha.
If we could give this house more than 5 stars we would. A definite hidden gem!!!

My husband and I along with our friends, John and Lynda, thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this amazing, cozy cabin. Everything was very nice and convenient. The heart of pine flooring and walls gave the cabin such a warm, welcoming feeling. The outside porch and deck which overlooks the Nottley River was a retreat in itself. We spent a lot of time there just enjoying the sound of the water and the beautiful fall foliage. We enjoyed sitting around the fire pit at night with a nice campfire. The neighborhood is very pretty and the neighbors are so friendly. We even made friends with a precious dog named Rocky who chose to spend the day with us. We met him as we walked around the neighborhood. His “dad” came and got him in the golf cart after a while though. We enjoyed apple and peach pie from Mercier’s and cooked dinner there at the cabin each night. Took a few scenic drives and ate lunch out … love Sawmill Restaurant and Hole in the Wall, both in Blairsville. Cristin was extremely responsive and a perfect hostess for any questions we had. We highly recommend this adorable cabin and definitely plan to return in the future!

Property was in quiet neighborhood, but close to highway. Cristin was quick to communicate when we needed to. Location is not far from town (about 8 miles) which was nice since Mom ended up in the hospital for a couple days. Mom enjoyed sitting on the porch looking at the river. Beds were comfortable and fireplace really set the mood for relaxation. Had everything we needed.

We didn't spend much time at the cabin because of the wedding and related events we were attending, but the cabin is conveniently located to Blairsville, the Southern Trees wedding venue, Vogel State Park and several other trails.

They cabin was very clean and nice. Blairsville is close and one of our favorite North GA towns. Proximity to various parks, lakes, streams is good.

Awesome cabin in a quite peaceful neighborhood. My grandkids are 2 and 4 years old. They had the time of their life in the Nottley River. Very relaxing and peaceful atmosphere. Definitely wouldn't mind doing another trip there sometime. The host were very accommodating. Would definitely recommend this cabin.

We enjoyed our stay in this beautifully decorated home that had all items that we needed to help make our stay great. We loved the back porch and river. We even cooked a couple of trout that our grandsons caught a Vogel State Park at the kids annual trout rodeo a few miles away over a wood fire in the fire pit at our cabin. This will be a great memory for all. I highly recommend this stay.

We absolutely loved everything about our stay in Choestoe. The cabin was so cute and the beds were so comfortable. The cabin owner was extremely helpful and gave us great tips for enjoying the area. Whenever we had a question or issue, she was quick to respond. One of the best VRBO experiences that I can remember!

We had a wonderful time during our getaway! The view and sound of the creek while sitting on the back porch immediately put us in vacation peace mode! It is fully stocked with all necessities and ready to walk into and start relaxing.

My cousins and I were looking for a cabin to stay near Vogel State Park and we saw this cabin perfectly situated near Nottley River which is a bonus view! We loved the patio, the fireplace, we bonded while cooking together in the kitchen and did some bonfire and s’mores outside near the river and it was fun! There were just little crumbs of food left on the carpet at the kitchen and in our room upstairs when we arrived but overall the place is clean and beautiful. The Cabin is also just near the highway and few minutes away from Vogel State Park which makes travel from one place to another even easier. This is my first time booking a place to stay here in the US for a vacay and it did not disappoint. Above all, nothing beats a great and warm accommodation from the host. No matter how beautiful a place is, the experience won’t be wonderful without having a topnotch service from the host. We arrived late on our check in day and Ms. Cristin was kind enough to still respond even if it was quite late, we also locked ourselves out of the cabin the next day on a weekend and we were able to get in through her help. Just glad she had another number added in the email I received just to have another number to call during emergencies if the other is not available at the moment. She is responsive and very kind and helped us all throughout our stay. Loved her!!!
Overall this experience is superb!!! :))

This property is better than described. The rooms are all cozy and inviting....the cottage was spotless. The back porch was the highlight for our group. To sit on the back porch and listen to the running water was priceless. I would recommend this cottage without hesitation. The hostess was more than easy to communicate with and she went above and beyond to make our experience the best. We will definitely return.

The location of this property is outstanding. You feel like you are out in the woods but are actually just a short ride to several restaurants and to downtown Blairsville. The cabin was very clean and cozy. The master bedroom has a large very comfortable bed. The owners checked in with us to make sure everything was ok. Would definitely stay here again. Hope to return in the summer when we can enjoy playing in the river.

The cabin was perfect for my family. It was close to the cute little town of Blairsville and to our primary destination of Helen. The cabin even has cute touches that added to the decor...beautiful stained glass windows in the living area and even squirrel cut-outs on the shutters outside. Enjoyed the porch and being so close to the water. The water was a little cold for my liking, but it didn't stop my kids from wading around in it! Also enjoyed s'mores at the firepit listening to the crickets and the stream. The rain held out until the last day luckily! It made for a calm, relaxing morning on the porch swing while drinking coffee before leaving. They also had a few games which was a nice touch for the kids and us to play. My son found some legos, magna-tiles, and a few small cars so he was entertained.

Wonderful mountain retreat
This cabin is a real gem - cozy and comfortable, beautiful inside and welcoming, excellent kitchen, fantastic porch, beds are super comfortable. The host was so friendly and informative, and really made us feel completely at home. Gave us advice for fun stuff to do with the kid and made our visit really special.
The river out back is gorgeous; did some fly fishing and the kid loved playing in the water. Great fire pit for s’mores, a grill for your trout, and tons of fireflies in the evening. Easy drive to Helen, just down the road from Vogel State Park and our favorite country store. Neighbors were so friendly, very quiet spot.
The trip was a perfect chance to relax, and we will 100% be back!

Nottley River Fishing Cabin was the perfect getaway for our family. The cabin is adorable and the perfect size for our family of four. Our teens loved the loft and the downstairs bedroom with attached 1/2 bath was ideal for us. The cabin is fully stocked with everything you would need. Christine was the perfect host. We contacted her a couple of times with questions and she responded very quickly. We would have loved to stay longer.

Amazing Mountain Getaway!!
After having our travelling impacted by COVID-19 we decided to explore places closer to home. What a great choice to stay at Nottley river . From booking to check out this was a wonderful experience! We felt at home and relaxed from the moment we walked in the door. We loved the decor and furnishings. They were perfect for that "vacationing in the mountains" feel. The cabin was clean and well equipped. We wanted for nothing. Location was great. It was central to all the things we wanted to do on our long weekend including a visit to the Christmas Market in Helen, GA. Looking forward to returning. We will definitely book again.
