We had a wonderful stay in the Rangeley cabin. The house was spacious with every amenity we could want, and the grounds were private and peaceful. Kids loved the ping pong table and the jigsaw puzzles. Everyone loved reading and relaxing on the porch. Location feels secluded, but is only 5 minutes from town and a short drive to hiking, fishing, and lakeside fun. Lovely stat; highly recommend!

This was our 2nd year in a row staying here and will not be our last. The home and peaceful location is perfect! It is clean and well stocked. Has everything we need to cook in a few nights during our stay. We enjoyed some fires in the outdoor pit. The ping pong table and dart board are fun on a rainy day or just hanging out in the evening. We had another great relaxing stay.

The cabin was everything we expected and more. It was nice to have easy access to the ATV trails. The fire pit was great for when the rest of the family came over. We loved the fact we could bring our dog with us as she’s not a fan of the kennel at all. Thank you Jeff for sharing your cabin with us.
Only issue we had was some of the dishes were dirty and the cabin is a little hard to find.

The place was very big and clean. Direct trail access. Please note you need the climb a very steep road to get to this location. 4 wheel drive and good tires are needed with snowy conditions.

The upstairs loft was a lot of fun for our two families to sleep and hang out together. The beds were very comfortable. The whirlpool was relaxing. The fire pit was a huge hit, as well as the walk through the woods to the Brook. The only down side was that there was no way to block the light going into the loft where the kids slept, so they were up earlier than we had hoped!

We were very comfortable and content with the house and property. The jacuzzi tub was a highlight. It was handy being so close to the IGA. We had a great stay — thank you!

Lovely stay in Rangeley
We spent a couple of days in Rangeley as a family getaway. No real plans, just a couple days away from the real world. This cabin was perfect for that. Lots of space and all of the amenities you could need. Very clean and the beds were comfortable. Highly recommend.

The best home rental in Rangeley
I’ve be renting in Rangeley for over 20 years having lived there many years ago so I am intimately familiar with this town. This is a beautiful 3 bedroom log home - has everything you and your family will need. Has WiFi which most don’t, it hasn’t been over rented you “feel” like you are home, photos do not do it justice, 2 minute drive to downtown and 5 minutes to local ski mountain. This is a special place and we had a wonderful long weekend. Definitely coming back!

A perfect place to get away in the foliage season
A fully furbished nice house with all the amenities one could need. It is close to everything: restaurants and a large grocery store is minutes away, and there are so many waterfalls, bogs and hiking trails around that one week was not enough to visit all on the short list.

Exactly what we’d hoped for.
Our family of 5 plus dog were very happy with our experience here during our first trip to Rangeley.
The place was easy to get to; 2 minutes off of RT 4. Check in process was simple. Place was clean, spacious and had a fun aesthetic that made it memorable, particularly for our children.
The place served as an excellent hub for our adventures; downtown Rangeley 5 minutes
drive, Rangeley Lake State Park, downtown Oquossoc and Small Falls 15 minute drive, Bald Mountain and Height of Land less than a 30 minute drive. On those rainy days it was a cozy and entertaining retreat. Also, IGA was less than 5 minutes away.
We had to reach out to the property contact, Jeff, 2 times for nothing serious and found him responsive and helpful. We will return to Rangeley and would strongly consider returning to this property.

Rangeley Rainy Relaxing Week
Despite rain every day of our week we had a wonderful time. The cabin is cozy and comfortable providing a great place to relax when it was unpleasant to be outside. The gas stove in the family room provided a great warmth to the cabin. When there was a break in the rain we enjoyed the huge deck that is partially covered. The location provide us with great access to the Rangeley area's many hikes and restaurants. We would stay here again on our next visit.

Nice place, but the listing needs to be updated
Overall it's a really nice cabin that's very secluded and quiet. Kitchen has everything you need to cook. I know it's subjective but the master bed is like sleeping on a marshmallow, it is SUPER soft, but great bedding and was cozy. Master bath and the whirlpool tub are fantastic. However, two of the main things I was looking for, which the listing says it has is water/lake front, it is not at all. And a hot tub, which is pictured, but is no longer on the property. That was a huge letdown and the listing should be updated to reflect that. Overall it was a nice stay and the host is a very nice guy and super responsive.

Great getaway!
It was a great trip! Close to many waterfalls, hiking, and scenic overlooks for a perfect spring getaway! Beds were comfortable and the jetted tub was the perfect addition to make the cabin a luxury getaway. We look forward to returning :)

Serenity
This home is in a quiet area close to downtown Rangeley. This home is surrounded by woods, but you can get great views of the lake and mountains as you come and go. It does have lake access although we did not explore this. Our primary use was for ATVing and quiet nights by the campfire under a star filled sky. The accommodations included everything you could need. The deck was very relaxing. The beds were so comfortable which we needed after a long day of riding. Jeff was very easy to work with.

Beyond our expectations
Our stay was, in a word - excellent. Jeff, the home owner was nothing short of accommodating in every way possible. The check in/check out instructions were clear and easy to understand. This property itself was beautiful. The home is a log cabin, with an open air design. Upon arrival, It was clean, comfortable, stocked with ALL possible necessities, and The property as a whole was very well maintained. This was our first time renting a vacation home, and we would not hesitate to rent from either Jeff or VRBO again in the future! Simply a great experience!

Excellent home away from home
This is a stunning cabin, with a very comfortable feel. It gives you a sense of home when you are away from your own. All of the amenities are included, and the cabin is super clean. We enjoyed family time away, and the cabin was very accommodating with ski resorts, and access to snowmobile trails within minutes. The cabin is slightly outside of town to provide a stay away from the commotion of downtown Rangeley but within close proximity (5 minutes) of local restaurants, bars, and grocery store. We would rent again, and already plan to re-book next year due to how wonderful our stay was. The owner Jeff is very supportive throughout the whole process.
