This may be an older property but it was a lovely, homely wee hotel. Very clean, staff very friendly and helpful and the breakfast first class.

Hotel was lovely, staff really lovely, dog friendly, whole town was lovely

The breakfast was amazing really lovely, but one of the dishes at dinner wasn’t very good and really wasn’t worth £15, the lasagne my partner had, she should of really sent it back, the chips didn’t seem homemade and she had to send them back, plus the lasagne was very unusual, my curry was amazing can’t critique that.

Having stayed here before, I brought my sister (from the south of England) and was shocked at the st

There was a shower mat rolled up on a shelf that was black with mould which someone should have realised should have been thrown in the bin. The shower head had a gluppy leak which put us off using the shower at all and so we only used the sink for our 2 night stay. There was also a warning about a fault with the shower. I think the shower needed to be repaired before the room is sold again.

The staff were absolutely lovely and get 11 out of 10.

Ideal for a night when needing a place to lay your head.

The location was good for where we were. Checking in and out was quick and very straightforward. The room was perfect for what we needed, with everything we needed. Staff were polite and friendly.

The shower door didn’t close properly making the small shower space even tinier. Plus it didn’t drain properly making the floor extremely slippery. We had to ask for more loo paper as there was only a tiny bit left and no spares on arrival. The bathroom was tired and lacking hooks for hanging towels etc. The sheet in bed was too small for it so it was moving around/kept coming off all night.

Food staff beds location had an issue with one night a room door was banging with the wind all night but we were refunded for that night

It was a good hotel and service was great for an older building would go back in summer time next time the food was good and breakfast was first class
