Well maintained cruise ship with good spread of buffet even for vegetarians. They prepared special dishes for vegetarians like us on request.
Our room was upgraded to Jacuzzi room, and we really had gala time on the cruise.
Housekeeping staff should be taught basic English. Really hard to explain them what is needs and they don’t understand at all

Kajak Ausflug. Service. Kochkurs.
Anstatt die Höhle hätten wir lieber gerne einen schönen Strand gesehen.

Very nice boat to stay on for two nights. The pick-up in Hanoi was on time, and transfer to the coast was excellent. Long wait for our transfer to the ship and a hot, uncomfortable 45min transfer on hard wooden benches. The food was OK on Day 1, but went downhill on Day 2. It was not good at all. The room was really amazing though. Really lovely. The excursions were good, if chaotic on the first day - the kayaking was crazy busy. The staff were all very young and appeared inexperienced - they needed to communicate better and make things clear. The main day out excursion was fantastic - we were lucky to have only 6 of us on a speed boat for 20. Great kayaking, great guide, very interesting lunch at the fishing village and then a stop at an isolated little beach. That part was extraordinary. The happy hour drinks were excellent and overall we're glad we did it.
This was the most expensive part of our whole trip to Vietnam, so unfortunately that comes with expectations. The food was generally pretty poor after the first lunch and dinner. The excursions were hit and miss. Everything costs more! You have to pay to have the jacuzzi baths filled up and switched on. You have to pay for karioli!! Total madness. If they put that on for free, people would entertain themselves and perhaps even spend a bit more at the bar, which was closed all day, until happy hour at about 5:30pm. This is no the 5* experience you might expect for the price. The location is a given... they need to to better at the smaller things. Don't try to be too 'European' with the food - do your local food and do it well!!! Stop trying to be too clever.

The cabin we stayed in for two nights was large and better equipped than many five star hotel rooms / suites.
The staff, Ms. Daisy in particular, would go out of their way and we’ll beyond the call of duty to ensure guests (like us) would have an unforgettable stay on this cruise.
The shower within the bath tub.
We would have preferred a stand alone shower and no bath tub.

lovely views as ha long bay itself is an amazing landscape
friendly and polite staff
the management has to take care of the maintenance and repair of the cruise ship as it is a really beautiful ship but it needs to be properly maintained and cleaned so it can give 100% satisfaction to the customers
it is expensive enough to stay even for one night so it should meet everyone’s expectations

Room was comfortable, staff were friendly. Food was amazing and the cruise locations and land tours were enjoyable.
There was nothing that we didn't like about the cruise.

Beautiful bay and the boat was excellent
The weather was overcast but the scenery was still fantastic

food quality variable , need to bring water as none supplied in the room

The customer service and staff in general were absolutely amazing. The food was delicious and varied and the facilities were clean. The day trips were very relacing and beautiful, we would book la regina grand again any time.
Everything was perfect for us.

First impressions of the boat were great, was super excited to start the cruise.
Unfortunately, as a couple it was quickly apparent that the cruise was hosting large group tours which meant that there were few chances to relax, just noisy and with no consideration for us. Did not go on the first cave tour based on the fact it would not have been fun to have a large group of 30+ people screaming and shouting in the confined space.
Food was really poor - certainly not the gourmet selection you would expect for the price tag, breakfast didnt even have fresh fruit, only a banana was offered.
The evening was ruined by bass thumping club music playing full blast which sent vibrations through our suite, impossible to relax.
It was so bad as an overall experience that we asked to leave early. Patrick the cruise director offered us a 50% refund on the first night and a full refund for the second night. Only once we left the ship did I get the call saying the "deal" wasnt right and I would not be refunded what I had agreed to. Funny because as part of the deal, they asked me to sign a document saying I would not leave a negative review. Kinda rings alarm bells right?
This experience was terrible overall, I would not recommend to anyone.

Staff very friendly, room is nice with great view of scenery, bath tub with a view to look out is a bonus, food is plentiful and tasty
Toilet is smelly, spend a lot of time on transportation between the cruise and visiting places, other facilities is quite expensive e.g. jacuzzi needs 1m VND

We (2 adults + 3y child) had a 2 night stay on the la Regina grande. from the arrival on the boat until the end of the cruise everything was amazing (food, staff, accommodation and trips).
you need to know that the schedule is really tight but you do not need to participate to all activities. I would recommend to do the 2 nights cruise to have more time to enjoy the nice boat and the halong bay.
we stayed for 4 weeks in Vietnam and this was definitely our highlight.
-the tai chi in the morning is just 15 minutes, 30 min would be better.
-only a bathtub, no shower in our room (junior sweet). you still can shower but either you do it on your knees or you make a mess.

Nice to spend 3 days on cruise. The team was helping with excursions.
No internet and no TV. Very unusual when stay 3 days away without connection.
4.3
The rooms and the boat were very good. The bathroom was superb with the wooden tub and hot seats.
The food spread needs to be more diverse especially the dinner. Even breakfast should have eggs and continental menu.

staff were so lovely and accommodating
the lunches were average

Absolutely beautiful boat - room and communal areas were stunning. We booked a triple room with and extra bed for our young family which was perfect. The food was lovely and varied. The staff were very attentive and the excursions were good.

the staff is helpful, great view and comfy room. The bathroom has a tub, soak urself in beautiful views
the staircase to come back to the deck after a swim, needs to be changed. there is no coffee or normal tea in the room…only green tea

Beautiful boat, beautiful room, nice food.
Lovely staff, especially Daisy!
The little playroom for kids could do with some toys and a little TLC.

This is one of the best getaway I’ve experienced. The communication were excellent and we were impressed that the arrangements ( transport, operation team onboard) were efficient and smooth. The cruising loop was perfect, we barely saw any other cruises in our sleeping areas and really appreciate to enjoy the bay away from the crowd !

Probably the most beautiful way to explore Ha Long. Thank’s to the staff for creating such a good atmosphere and precise work.
The boat and it’s facilities are amazing. The sightseeing might be more interesting. For example by visiting floating village and catching a fish or finding a pearl not only passing by.
