Great Location
4.0
The property looked very rundown with weeds growing around the door area outside, and when you open the door into the hall, it wasn’t clean with decor falling off the walls with lots of post and rubbish, sitting on a desk to the side first impression was not good. The staircase up to the apartment was on the third floor, so anyone with working difficulties This would not suit at all, it would be and ideal student accommodation, broken toilet when you sat on it it fell to one side 🙈 the living room had a little gas fire, but even turned up on high it didn’t heat living room
There was no other means to heat the living room just wore my coat inside.

Very clean. Great location
Could of done with a fan in the property as was so hot due to extremely warm weather.
Bathroom fan needs to be looked at and toilet wobbled.

We liked the layout of the apartment and the location.
There was a great climb to the second floor where the apartment is situated, but it looked nice at first sight. However on closer inspection there was cracked paint on the walls, tape on the ceiling in the living room, dirty cutlery, and a cracked window and a somewhat caved in ceiling in the bedroom. Oh yeah and the toilet barks. So my conclusion is that it needs a deep clean and good bit of repairing, but once that is done it should be lovely.

Perfect location, apartment well equipped. Really felt like home . Wished we had booked two nights ... so we will be back again .

Has everything you need, Kevin is really helpful and sweet. Location was super convenient, would definitely stay here again.

Convenient self check-in upstairs apartment close to the Edgecumbe ferry and the waterfront.
Number 34 Bus stop nearby. Great TV and lounge.
Comfortable bed. Kitchen and dining table.
Perhaps add a self-serve continental breakfast but not essential.
A washing machine in the building would be a welcome addition.

Old world but adequately equipped, clean, and comfortable.
Our host "kevin" was very helpful with solving some storage issues for us.
He was always available on the phone or rang back in a short time.

Toilet is rather noisy

Absolutely nothing.
Awful smell in whole building. I understand you might not have full control over the communal areas (smell hits you as you walk in), but the flat had stained carpet and bedding. Food in sofa, dirty kitchenware, filthy windows. Toilet that actually rocks on a soft floor when you sit on it, I don’t mean the seat I mean the whole toilet, feels like it will collapse through floor. After arriving too late the first night to find somewhere else, we left the next morning rather than stay the full 2 nights. The “bathroom” is literally a tiny shower in the corner of the bedroom. I wish I’d taken more photo’s and video but we were just concentrating on finding a hotel to move and didn’t want to hang around longer than we had to. They only let you put 4 photos of specific areas otherwise I’d include things like duvet etc. We let owner know we were leaving early and have had no response. Disgusting.

Location, quietness, well equipped, fridge and freezer better than average. Warm welcome with lit fire and laid table. Better than expected considering some negative views, yes toilet was slightly wobbly but was not an issue for us nor was the sound of the macerating toilet system which is typical of old converted properties. Accommodation looked like picture and the external and entrance area was as expected for sea side property of this type. Parking in this area was as difficult as we expected due to popularity of area but we were able to find a free space every night.

A compact home from home with washing machine and dryer (across the landing in a utility room) and well equipped kitchen. The cosy living room with a fireplace was a bonus and the area and street was very quiet considering the flat is right on the doorstep of the beautiful Royal William Quarter. Only a 15 min stroll on foot to Plymouth Hoe, the central shops or the Barbican quay.

Lovely flat to rent in a lovely area in Plymouth. Perfect for couples or singles. Excellent value for money, clean, warm and well equipped for my needs (single bloke just looking to stay in Plymouth for a few days). Kevin the host was a lovely chap, he was available by phone both times I called him (though this was just to let him know that I'd got in and vacated the property, not because anything was wrong). Lidl and Aldi Supermarkets very close by. Nice walk around the sea front with lots of nooks and crannies to explore. Nice restaurants in Royal William Yard (walking distance). Free car park close by can be a bit difficult to get a spot (especially in the evening) but on the road unrestricted free parking can be found fairly close (about 0.5 km away) on Kings Road. I will definitely use this property again for future trips to Plymouth.

I have no complaints for the money. Parking was not always available readily but we managed.

The room was clean and nicely decorated, the location was fantastic. All info was sent in advance so we were able to settle quickly.
The toilet felt like it was going to fall through the ceiling as it moved so much. There was also a ceiling gutting into the bedroom above the bed. When these are fixed we will happily come back again and recommend to our friends.

excellent location with good facilities
the bathroom is a little worrying the floor feels like it’s going to drop any moment unfortunately

Great location near the delights of the wonderful Royal William Yard. Relatively quiet being on the second floor. Good base for exploring the city.
A strange encounter with the ground floor tenant on arrival. The bathroom sink wasn't very clean - black build-up around plughole suggests cleaning regime is somewhat lacking and I could hear rodents scampering around and squeaking somewhere in the flat, under the floor or cabinets. The owner said I was the first to mention it and would be booking rentokil to deal with it.The bed and pillows weren't that comfortable either. Don't be fooled by the exterior photo. This place isn't the nicely done up grey building in the middle. It's the slightly more rundown looking one to the left.
