Very well refurbished facility with all the modern touches. The staff are extremely friendly and the rooms comfy and quiet. A lovely location just on the edge of town with a country setting.
Nothing to highlight

beautiful property, lovely location and facilities.
Booked almost 10 months in advance for my daughters wedding. On check in, we discovered the manager had overbooked the rooms, so some of my family and friends did not have a room; he expected my 75year old aunt to sleep on a mattress on the floor of a single room, sharing with my sister one point. He tried to blame booking.com for oversubscribed booking errors, but I and my family/friends had emails to prove all was correct at time of booking. My friends were moved between 3 different rooms, within 5 hours of checking in and finally allocated rooms after 6pm. as the manager tried to fit us all in; disgraceful, disrespectful and stressful. We had booked the Spa room, but were contacted the week before we travelled to say there was a problem with the spa so our room had been changed. On check in the manager told us the room had been given to an actress; and he was obviously star struck. We accepted that we were of lesser importance in his eyes, although we later found out 4 lads were in it. He also insisted we pay for breakfasts when we checked in, "to save time at checkout" and my son didn't eat one; too complicated to get a refund on check out (3 staff involved in discussions lasting over 15 minutes); they gave him a bag of pastries. Ridiculous.
My niece had 3 long black hairs in her meal, and when I complained, my sister was taken from the table by the manager to the kitchen to look at the staffs hair; "they all have short hair", he said!! Totally unprofessional. We were given free prosecco, but this did not make up the whole stressful ordeal, the distress of checking in, general unprofessionalism nd the overall bad experience. It cast a shadow over our holiday and the highly anticipated family celebration. I would not recommend this hotel.

The spa area was great but very small. The hotel is
extremely clean and the staff were attentive.
The breakfast was extremely expensive for what it was.
It was very expensive we paid the same price for 2 nights
here as we did in central Paris.

location, ambience, modern but traditional, lovely rooms, excellent area to sit out and enjoy the babbling brook.

The location, the parkingfacilities, the food from the restaurant, the clean rooms with a lot of space, the spa. We liked everything. Every member of the staff was very helpful and really nice. The owner gave us useful tips on where to go and what to see and because of that we went to places like Giverny and Vetheuil, where the painter Claude Monet has lived, which we absolutely loved. Next time we will definitely stay there again.
Nothing negative to mention.
