Exceptional

It was clean and so spacious, the rooms were comfortable and well planned. We were only there for a couple of nights but it would make a lovely place for a week stay. There was tea and coffee, milk in the fridge. And detailed instructions for the various gadget remotes.

Nothing not to like, everything has been considered, even down to everything you could need to light the Woodburner. Thank you for a lovely place to stay:)

Good size charming village cottage

Charming and characterful, good size , very comfortable, everything you need , lovely touches like the record player and records , log burner and fairy lights , lovely village location with nice pub

Garden was across the road from the cottage , parking was a challenge backing into the space, a little cold downstairs

Lovely big cottage with comfy beds

Big bright bedrooms, good facilities in kitchen and living room, heaters in each room which heated rooms well. Host available when we needed help and we contacted them by phone.

Message for how to get in to house didn't arrive so had to phone on arrival

A fabulous family holiday and sad to be leaving

Old Inn House is perfect for a family break. The beautiful cottage was spacious and had everything we needed. The location is within easy reach of the picturesque coastline and the village pub was exceptional for food and service. This was the second time we had stayed at the cottage and we will certainly be back. Martin and Lorraine are always happy to help and cannot do enough to make sure the holiday goes well. Thank you once again from all of us.

Really wonderful stay the owners have thought of everything and OMG the milk what a special touch was like being a kid a

it’s just beautiful rooms we’re a fantastic size and was a real experience we have stayed in cottages before but this was different just loverly so much to look at. and the kids loved it so many hiding places for them and separate areas that they felt like they were in there own space was just loverly. I’m 6ft 2 and learnt to duck through doors the hard way.

we went to explore the area and have days out was perfect for what we wanted and needed we wouldn’t change anything.

The beds were very comfy- our 2 year old who never sleeps through stayed in his own bed all 3 nights we were there- unheard of! Beautiful house, in a beautiful village. Our boys enjoyed having a go on the piano

Devon stay

Very spacious, comfortable and characterful. Everything that we needed for our stay, we had in the cottage. Situated in the lovely village of Kings Nympton, with access to what Devon has to offer 😊

Fabulous

This property is so quaint, a lovely log burner in a really cosy lounge made for really restful evenings after a trip to the fabulous local pub. Great location if you want to be away from it all but with easy access to the coast and places of interest!

A great stay

Amazing property. Very homely feel to it. We were just left to enjoy ourselves around the property. All very spacious rooms, every amenity you could wish for to make it feel like a home from home. Lots of information about the place for whatever you may have needed.

Old Inn House, Kings Nympton

A fantastic property packed with character and located in a charming village! Some lovely touches were included such as local milk in the fridge and fairy lights in the living room. The hosts were great, and the space really leant itself to a family feel but also giving a group of adults from 3 different households their own space! The pub in the village is fab and the locals all really friendly!

Very few downsides! Sofas a little difficult to get in and out of and mattresses a bit soft but that is personal preference. Location is rural (we are town mice) but once we got to grips with it it we loved it; we would all very happily stay there again!

Lovely spacious cottage suitable for grown up children

We liked the size/position of cottage, bedding/towels of good quality which were provided, the little touches such as fairy lights, the fact it was well equipped and the friendly/helpful owner. The garden, although small was pretty and sunny so great for breakfast and BBQ.

Sofa although very clean had seen better days and was uncomfortable. Would be useful to have a little more hard standing in the garden as it was a struggle to sit six of us. Then the only other silly thing which would be useful, is plates that fit the dishwasher.

Lovely cottage in an excellent location, just what was needed to chillout and relax after lockdown

Excellent location with a village pub serving takeaway meals nearby. Cottage furnished to a good standard, comfy bed and plentiful supply of kitchen equipment. Would definetly reccomend.

Highly recommend this property, spacious but cosy. Very clean. Had a lovely stay.

Beautiful building to stay in. Thoughtful hosts, lots of information given for our stay . Lovely views and surrounding area. Cosy property but with plenty of space. Super clean. Would highly recommend and would definitely visit again.
