We had a wonderful time. The Big Blue House was amazing!

The property was clean and spacious! The kitchen and bathrooms had everything we needed. Check in and check out procedures were quick and easy. It’s great that we were only asked to take trash out and put dirty towels in the hampers before we leave. It was hot during our stay, so we didn’t get to spend much time outside, but the yard looked lovely.

Nathan’s property was just the right fit for a group of 10 friends in town for Jazz Fest. There was more than enough room to comfortably hold/sleep 10 and the location put us within walking or short Uber distance of everything we were interested in checking out.

The house was beautiful and spacious. It had lots of amenities. Nathan was extremely helpful and accommodating. We were close to all the action. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

Wanted to thank Nathan for an amazing stay. The house is truly what you see in the photos. It was VERY clean. Big and well decorated. The 4 full bathrooms are amazing. We had 6 family members with us and we had plenty of room. We actually cooked much more then we expected on this trip and it was a very well stocked kitchen.
Only side note is the 7th ward is an up and coming neighborhood. It is a VERY busy street and if you are a light sleeper you can hear everything outside. Nathan does provide sound machines and that was a big score. Also not a good idea to be out in the neighborhood after dark or to exercise. A few locals told us to not go onto the side streets either.
We had no issues here and really enjoyed our stay.

My friends and I were very comfortable. Four bathrooms goes a long way.

Amazing house, we had a great stay. The neighbor was super nice although I believe the other house next door was a rental and they parked in a very inconsiderate manner, to say the least, we had a blast! We were not familiar with the area and upon arrival were a little surprised that such a beautiful home was located in the 7th ward but we realized that just like our big city in phoenix there are nice areas and a block later is not so nice areas. Great times were had nonetheless.

Welcome to New Orleans!
We enjoyed our week in this lovely old house. The Big Blue House reminded me of the 200 year old home that I grew up in complete with all it's quirks and idiosyncrasies. Nathan was an amazing Host, very communicative and easy to work with. And the house when we arrived was very clean. The beds in all the rooms were comfortable with plenty of pillows and blankets. And we loved the fact that there were extra basic supplies throughout the house like paper towels, spices, salt n pepper, dish & laundry soaps, and even a few canned drinks and condiments in the fridge. So many of these rentals get stripped clean after each rental, leaving the next group scrambling for even the most basic supplies when they arrive. Thank you Nathan for making our stay so comfortable and easy.
The only thing we had to find a work-around for was the air conditioning. During the day it would get warm in the house. But we quickly discovered that if we left all the bedroom doors open and all the fans running the house would stay relatively cool during the day and chilly enough at night to need those blankets in bed.

The big blue house, the house was very comfortable
We enjoyed our stay however it would be nice for both the bathroom and bedrooms to have a stand or small chest to put cosmetics and clothes in. Also would be nice to know how far the house is from down town. The house is very well equipped for everyone needs.
