I enjoyed my stay☺️

Hot water was always available. Provided us with electric Heater since it is cold at night. I also liked the fact that the TV was smart. Friendly staff

The toilet was making water sound all the time. It can be irritating especially at night trying to sleep. Hope they fix it.

Overall our stay was good for the price we paid.

It was close to the FNB stadium. It was clean and safe.

Not all parkings had shade. The aircon didn’t work and there was no extra toilet paper. The wifi didn’t work. And it was difficult to do your hair and makeup since there is no mirror close to a power outlet.

Semeni Asante Guesthouse is the BEST! Well accessible and centrally located for ease of access

Firstly, the staff was welcoming and friendly, we felt at home away from home. The security fencing gave us a sense of safety. The place is easily accessible from major highway roads heading into Johannesburg city centre, and there is easy access to many other attraction points, e.g. South Gate, Gold Reef City, FNB Stadium, etc. In house media entertainment was a cherry on top! WE LOVED OUR STAY!

Awful experience.

I made my booking almost a month in advance only then made an upgrade to a bigger room a few days later, made direct payment for the upgrade only to get to the venue and be told they gave my reservation to of the bigger room to someone else. This was never communicated to me. I had to settle for the tiny room they chose for me and to make things even worse there was no water in the facility when we arrived and needed to shower. I asked for my refund i was given the run around until later on the day i was suppose to check out . My whole experience was awful. I will never book that guest house totally unprofessional.

It was a great experience, Id definitely go again

We didn’t have breakfast but the location was great, I took really beautiful pictures, the lighting was amazing. It was peaceful, clean and value for money. It was at a good price and the experience was great. I would really love to go back again

The staff doesn’t really have any service. They just showed us the room and that was it. They didnt let us know what they offer or dont, they just let us figure out everything on our own. But nonethe less theres a lady named Princess that was really sweet

When calling the guesthouse the receptionist does not announce the name of the guesthouse. I had to ask which place it w

Close to Gold Reef City so it was easy to find. The room had most of the standard amenities.

The electric blanket did not work and it was freezing cold. The wall heater alleviated the cold - a bit. The booking stated we could order dinner and breakfast however when we ordered she said there was no meat - as in, there was no food to order.

It was ok but not worth the extra money.

The staff was friendly

There was someone streaming a church service next door, very loudly. There was no contingency for load shedding and the water also got cut so we couldn’t shower. For the price, a small microwave in the room would be nice

Disappointing

The area was quite and safe.

The initial location was changed, and the space was not fully finished, some equipment was missing. The was no stuff to help. We ran out of water and no one came to assist.

It might look good at first but nothing is as it seems. We were introduced by lack of communication.

The place showed potential, it was very beautiful and well designed at face value I was impressed.

They had many hidden cost. You pay a cheap check in but separately pay for everything else. You don’t get informed about the cost till its billing time. We woke up to a flooded room because the shower or sink was licking. Had to have towels all over the floor it was a flood.

Exceptional

The breakfast menu had a great variety and the staff were very accommodating of any changes and did excellent follow-ups to check if another breakfast was needed when I forgot to order the previous day. The staff and the owner are all wonderful people who care about your stay and you as an individual. Great personal touch and a really warm and welcoming, homely atmosphere.

I have nothing bad to say, we had a fantastic stay and from here on out Semeni Asante all the way!!

the bed was uncomfortable and linen had some black marks, it wasn’t 100% clean.
