This lovely space combines an open kitchen (complete with farm sink, full size appliances, and an island), picnic style dining area, and a living room complete with a gas fireplace. The deck with a living room style setup is just outside! This is one of two living rooms, as the downstairs den serves as a bonus relaxation space for groups. Everyone can stay comfortable with the home's central air conditioning. The family dogs can join you on this trip to the lake!
When it's time to head to bed, there are plenty of options for guests to choose from. The first bedroom is just past the kitchen - head past the private washer/dryer and you'll find the room, featuring a king bed and an en suite bathroom with a shower/tub combination. On the opposite side of the first floor, guests can choose between one room with a queen bed and another with two double beds (both served by a hall bathroom with a shower/tub combination).

This was a nice property on the hill with an amazing view of the lake from the balcony/patio. The rooms were all large and the two king beds with adjoining bathrooms a plus. The beds were very comfortable. The kids toys were an added plus. There was easy access to unloading vehicles by parking behind the home. The pet friendliness made the stay much more relaxing. The outside furniture was in abundance to fit our family size allowing us to be outside most of our stay. Overall it was an enjoyable relaxing stay.

Beautiful lake views, 5 min drive to ideal beach resort with so many amenities for the kids, great location for riding atvs and exploring trails. The house has everything you need including ping pong tables, beach towels and chairs. Would definitely recommend, especially if traveling with kids/large families.

Great and spacious cabin. Love that it had 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Plenty of for our 3 families.
Was stocked well with everything, other than no paper towels and only 2 dishwasher pods so only able to run the dishwasher twice.

The home was beautiful and the views from the deck couldn’t be beat. It was spacious and pretty clean. We did have a few issues though. The outdoor fire pit didn’t work, only three of the four burners on the grill worked, the coffee maker didn’t work and the key card to the beach access didn’t work for our entire trip. We received a response from the property manager, but nothing was ever done about any of the issues. Overall it was great, but when you spend as much as we did per night, you don’t expect these kind of problems. A side note, the sheets could use some help as there were several stains on lots of them.

The house was exactly what we needed for our multi-generational reunion. People slept well, didn't hear others moving around elsewhere in the house, and the couch in the basement is especially comfortable for watching movies. The lake was a quick drive away and the garage was stocked with beach stuff.

Their was only 1 propane tank for the BBQ and the Island flame unit to share.. and it was nearly empty.. -- we took it to refill -- and the valve was faulty on the tank-- took a while to fill --but-- other than that no probs.. thanks

This was the best short term rental we have stayed in!! We travel a lot and this house was clean, organized, and the most well stocked home we have experienced. They had everything we needed and fit 15 people easily.

Location: about 5-7 minutes from town in an upscale neighborhood on a hill overlooking the lake. The free beach resort was at the bottom of the hill.

I rented Big Blue for a 3 day skiing holiday at Beaver Mountain. We had a great stay. The home is large enough for several families. The home was well appointed and had more than the required appliances and equipment needed to cook all our meals…. Which is needed as there’s very few dining options in this area in Winter. We would easily rent again. Vacasa managers were immediately available to answer questions and comments. The home is 30 minutes from Beaver Mountain ski area with a well maintained highway. Only issue, and it’s not in control of the homeowners or management, is that there has been so much record snowfall this season that access to the home can be challenging if one of the guests is handicapped or has mobility issues

The property is really big with very comfortable space for many people! It is clean with comfortable beds pillows and linens. The views are wonderful and refreshing.. Access to Ideal Beach club included with rental ended up being a highlight! Loved it!

The view on this house is beautiful. It is also a beautifully constructed house and it had all of our needs met. Not one complaint. There are deer at night. Home was clean and comfortable.

We had a great family vacation staying at this vacation home. Only thing to know is there is no yard, which was hard for the Littles and the rock driveways were steep and slippery with sandals. Home was nice and clean and had everything we needed although lamps in the rooms would have been nice. FYI, if vacationing like us in July or August, house can not be cooled off more than 70, there are no shades for direct sunlight, and it was quite toasty! We would definitely recommend but probably, for us, we need a yard so kids have a place to play on those off hours. Do not bring cornhole.... there's no place to play it. These are just a few things we wish we would have known beforehand.

The lack of information at the property was our biggest disappointment. There was not central place that gave us information about things like additional propane tanks for the BBQ grill and fire pit on the deck. No information about where to find the pass cards to gain access into the Ideal Beach Resort. Furnishings were quite minimal. For example no lamps on the bedside tables. Would be nice for my wife to be able to read in bed while I slept. Kind of minor things, but for the price, we certainly expected more. We will not return.

Tranquil Perfection!!!
The Big Blue is the he best vacation home we could have ever desired in the Bear Lake area. It's hard to figure out where to start, but the obvious would be the breathtaking views from the balcony, 180 degrees of the Caribbean of the Rockies. The deck is perfect for morning coffee and yoga, with plenty of cushy outdoor seating for all. The home is quiet, peaceful and appointed very well. Kitchen has everything you need, it all appears brand new. Not a speck of dust anywhere in the home. Spotlessly clean, plenty of fresh towels and even beach towels are provided. The bedrooms are spacious and quiet and beds are super comfortable. The home is recently built and fully furnished with everything one could desire. Two different lounge areas, and two master suites, this home was designed with two families in mind. Our kids LOVED the twin sets of huge bunk beds in the kids room. Super cozy for them. It's out of the way enough to be tranquil, yet a few minutes to a Raspberry shake and all the amenities of Bear Lake. We will absolutely return and can't say enough about this property. It's magic!!

This home has passes to access Ideal Beach Resort. Just be aware it is a pretty long walk to get to the water from the parking area. Make sure you bring a beach wagon or plan to make several trips back and forth.

Grandchildren lobbied hard to return next year.
Still some work to finish, like safety bars in showers, more bedside tables with lamps, driveway to back of building. Wonderful games available so adults could have time off. Some kitchen appliances could be upgraded, such as waffle iron and coffee maker. Good internet access.. loved huge supply of towels.

A wonderful place to stay in bear lake. An exceptionally clean home. Everything is well thought through in this home. The home has breathtaking views and close to all amenities. We loved our access to ideal beach club. Our room was spotless clean and spacious. Can’t wait to come back

Lovely views and comfortable living space, well equipped for large groups
Loved our stay in this well kept house, we ran into issue with the Beach access card. Property Manager sorted the issue out and dropped off the keys within an hour. Within 2-4 min to all activities.
We enjoyed the great views all through the day. Thank you for such a great offering.

Views!!!
We enjoyed our October stay at The Big Blue. The views are incredible. The home is well stocked with towels, toiletries, kitchen items etc. We loved the bedroom layout. 4 private rooms and 2 rooms with multiple beds for the kids! The only things lacking were measuring spoons and a whisk. The weather was beautiful - we even saw 8 deer out on a stroll.
