On the second level, the wide-open great room space is ideal for hanging out with the family. A sprawling sectional sofa faces a large flatscreen television and creates a perfect space for kicking back with your favorite television show and a bowl of popcorn. A wall of windows allows the bright, natural light to flow in. Glass doors open out to the sunny deck space with views of the neighborhood and a peek at the ocean. A picnic table and laid-back Adirondack chairs invite you to sit back and enjoy the sea breeze.
The kitchen has stylish gray cabinets and brushed stainless steel appliances. Clean marble workspaces and a sparkling subway tile backsplash create a streamlined space to prepare beach snacks and meals for your crew. A sleek bar top and dining table with bench seating provide plenty of flexible seating space for everyone. A laundry closet and a full bathroom are right around the corner.
Down the hallway are two cheerful bedrooms. The first bedroom has a king-size bed and twin-over-twin built-in bunk space. The other bedroom is painted a soothing lavender and has two queen-size beds.
Up the stairs on the third floor lies the secluded master suite. A sumptuous king-size bed faces a mounted flatscreen television. French doors open wide to reveal a private balcony with peekaboo ocean views. It’s a lovely spot to wake up in the mornings, throw open the doors, and feel the offshore breeze. The ensuite master bathroom feels like your own private spa, with marble tiles, a soaking tub, and a separate, step-in shower. A bunk room on this floor has two full-over-full size bunks.
On the ground level, a spacious game room is a flexible space that doubles as a bunk room and a fun lounging space. A charming white chair rail and bright teal walls add thoughtful style. This room was built for entertaining— with a pool table, large flatscreen television, and pass-through bar to the barbeque area. On the far wall, two built-in full-size bunks are mounted over two queen-size beds. A full bathroom is around the corner. The kids will absolutely love this camp-like, semi-private space to hang out.
The warm sandy shores of Sea Isle Beach are a quick drive or a walk away from your front door. You’ll also be close to the Sea Isle Beach community pool and the West End Marina and Restaurants. This place is great! Plenty of rooms and bed for our family and it is so close to the beach we were able to walk. Joey was very easy to communicate with and was very accommodating.

The home is beautiful; however, there were a few issues. The coffee maker didn’t work so we had to buy a new one. The dishwasher also didn’t work as it was broken. The bottom appeared to have fallen off and was on the floor. We had to buy paper plates and plastic utensils to avoid doing dishes most of the time. Additionally, the living room furniture needs to be cleaned. The upholstery was very stained. The online listing didn’t mention that the bedroom with the game room was on the ground floor apart from the main house with separate entry. We didn’t use this room for security reasons. The TV in the master bedroom didn’t work either as we couldn’t get the audio to work. It had no sound, and the sink and bathtub in the master bedroom did not drain well at all. The bathtub had standing water after using it and the sink drained very, very slowly. The host who worked with us was very prompt in getting this fixed and it worked much better during the rest of our stay. I must also mention that our host, Russell, was very prompt in responding to this issue and was extremely friendly and helpful during our stay. However, in spite of these issues, we made the most of our stay and had a very good time. Great location and beautiful home, but I would not stay at this house again. I suggest fixing the issues mentioned above. With these issues fixed, the house would be 5-star.

We stayed here with a large group before our cruise. The location was perfect. There were plenty of beds for everyone and the house was beautifully decorated. The a/c wasn't quite as cold as I would like it but it's also super hot in Texas in the summer. Any issues we had were minor and handled very quickly. I will definitely be returning.
4.7
Very clean and provided great entertainment options for guests such as a billiards table, an arcade machine, and big sized television with lots of options to watch. The area was also safe and a walking distance to the beach with great communication with the host, who was very organized in providing a list of things nearby as well as what they suggest the guests should bring.

We were without water for the first 24 hours and without AC the majority of our stay. NOTHING was done despite communication with host. We couldn’t cook, use the RR, wash hands, or bath. They claimed the neighborhood water was off, but all of the neighbors had water. We explained the AC wasn’t working and they were “sending a tech” he came the day before we left after I complained again. In my complaint I noted that two of the bedroom fans were broken and we couldn’t open the windows bc there are no screens. We were being eaten alive by mosquitoes and all of the windows had to be closed bc we have a child allergic to mosquito bites. There was zero airflow. Their response was “we should expect mosquitoes bc we’re on the gulf and maybe we should buy bug spray”. Completely ignoring the fact that the mosquitoes wouldn’t be biting us all night if we didn’t open the windows with no screens to try and cool it down bc there was no AC and the thermostat read 80-85. When the maintenance guy finally came, he told us that the system has a bad leak so all of the Freon leaks out and the AC can’t cool. That the host is aware of the leak, but they just have him refill it and “hope it doesn’t leak out before we leave bc they know guests are only there a short time, it’s cheaper and doesn’t disrupt their existing bookings.” We asked for a reimbursement and we’re ignored. VRBO said the best way to get action is to leave a negative review. So, as much as I hate to, here it is. Nightmare.

Everything was clean and tidy, kind of like staying in a mini-resort. Just a short block from the beach.

For Christmas my family and I decided to take a trip away, rather then buy gifts to celebrate. This was the perfect place to do so! We loved our relaxing week at the Sea Isle house. It was far enough away from the busy day to day, but close enough to take an adventure when wanted to. We took along our 18m old as well as two teenage boys. This house provided more then enough space for us all to have our own space, especially the lower level for the teenagers! The property manager went above and beyond when we noticed we didn’t have frying pans, the frying pans were delivered within the hour. If we venture to Galveston again, we would love to stay here!

Our team enjoyed their stay with lots of things to do in the house and outside.

My family and I stayed at Sea Isle during the winter. The house was exactly as stated. We had a great time, house had everything we needed to spend quality time with the whole family. We each had our own space to rest and felt safe throughout our stay. We will be coming back soon. Manger of property was communicative and available for any questions we had.

Love this house for the huge living room and kitchen. Kitchen was so well appointed that we had everything we needed even for a huge Thanksgiving meal. The five bedrooms allowed each family unit to take a bedroom so we could I'll have a little bit of privacy but also be together. Really love the house. Wish the location was a little bit better like closer to the beach or having a better view of the bay but will definitely stay there again if we do another big family event. We really liked the neighborhood as well and took many walks over to the marina and to look at the bay as well as the beach.

A block or two from the beach and great views. Host was helpful and very responsive. Thanks again!

Great house! Sleeping arrangements fit our family of 8 with room to spare! Great outdoor spaces and even though outside of Galveston proper, it was worth it! Beach areas were clean and everyone was very respectful of their neighboring canopy groups. The house book with recommendations were on point! Thanks.

First off, we were a prom group and beach houses that allow prom groups are hard to come by. I was able to communicate with the property manager before renting (to confirm we would be allowed due to it being prom), during and after no complaints at all on that part. The house has a lot of space for everyone, the teens loved the game room and just had a blast. There were lots of towels and supplies in the home and had everything we needed and more. There are a few things that can be better such as the pots and pans in the kitchen we ended up buying some because EVERYTHING sticks to the ones they have and we cooked ALOT. We also put in a complaint about the sink in the master bath being broken and it was never repaired during our stay but we made it work since the other restroom is huge and easy for everyone to get to. All in all we had a blast and the experience was a good one.

The home is not as pictured. There are many things like, throw blankets, pillows on the couch, foot stools, rugs, lamps, that just are not there.
The dining and living room furniture are all heavily stained and the entire common area needs a repainting. All of the bathrooms need to have toilet paper dispensers properly hung and faucets, shower curtains all need to be addressed.
The amount of toilet paper, paper towels and dish soap should have been adjusted to accommodate for the number of people and days.
The downstairs smoke alarm went off at 3:30am two nights in a row. Proactively changing the batteries could and should be part of the regular maintenance so that the batteries are not running out when guests are there as well as ensuring guest safety. However, the maintenance person came out on Thanksgiving Day and was exceptionally nice.
In the downstairs bathroom there is a large industrial chemical(?) bucket presumably for removing moisture. Just ugly and odd.
The mattresses are all very lumpy. The rails and beds are actually broken making them unsafe. And the furniture overall is in need of many repairs.
The house is fine, but it is not as pictured and Beach Box rentals has a nice group of people working for them however, I wrote a very detailed letter to the owners and made a call and never heard back except from their exceptionally condescending manager.
The owners of Beach Box would be well served to stop pretending they are all that and instead invest the couple thousand needed to bring their homes up to what they say they are. They have a mostly great team, they just need to step up and be responsible and responsive.
Great properties and good people...it's a shame the owners aren't doing more to truly capitalize and follow through on providing a great stay for their guests. If someone goes through the trouble of letting you know the issues, you should at least reply.

We loved the property. The downstairs area was perfect for our teens as it was there own little spot. Everything was nice and clean and homey. The beach was just as close as they say and it was really nice to have a spot that wasn't packed with other people. We had a great time!

My extended family and I stayed at the property during the Christmas peak period. We have stayed in rental properties all over the world and are generally very easy going. This trip we were staying at a peak time with peak cost and hope that this feedback may help others with their selection.
Positives -
Overall, the property was very clean. The four bedrooms on the second and third floor were all very nice. The kitchen has most everything you will need for your stay. There were plenty of towels and toilet paper etc for the entirety of our stay. The property is a very easy 5 minute walk to the beach. The instructions for the home were very written and communication was clear.
Negatives -
We were disappointed to find that the downstairs bedroom and game room were not connected to the rest of the house (says semi-private on listing but no mention of it being separate from rest of home with exterior door and then stairs to access larger area of home). If we had known this we would have chosen a different property, but there are strict cancellation terms as well. This caused challenges with our group as no family wanted to be away from the rest, particularly with younger children and not feeling comfortable leaving them after they fall asleep to visit with the rest of our group. Although there are 4 beds which is nice, this downstairs bedroom was very damp (there was a bucket of damp rid, but did not seem to help much), did not have curtains on window which was odd, especially since it is on the ground floor, and the bathroom did not have any place to hang towels or place soap. The ice maker on the refrigerator was dirty so we chose to buy our own ice and didn’t feel comfortable using the water from the refrigerator as a result.
Overall, if you choose to stay during a peak period and paying peak prices or need to use all bedrooms (including 1st floor which isn’t connected) you may not find this property to best suit your needs, however if you can fit your party in bedrooms upstairs, or perhaps wanted to have a separate bedroom for older kids, or adults who want additional privacy, this would suit your needs nicely.
