House had everything you need. 2 kitchens 3 living rooms pool & hot tub. The town is nice too

Beauty on the Beach is a huge house, so there was lots of room for our big group to spread out. The first floor has two good-sized bedrooms and two baths as well as a full kitchen and family room. There was also a pool table that we used. (It could use a little TLC, but it was a fun amenity to include.)
The next level had three generous bedrooms and two restrooms, and the top floor had a huge open area living/dining/kitchen area, half bath, and then a master suite with a soaker tub and walk-in shower. The teens we were with loved this space.
The house is in walking distance of the beach and close to some great souvenir shops and a Dollar General for all the things you forgot to bring with you.
There was plenty of dishes, pot and pans, and linens for a crowd, but I did think that the outdoor furniture, and some of the indoor furniture, looked a little tired, and there were some small things like ripped screens and a missing eye from a hook and eye lock on the porch that could be addressed. I'm sure maintaining rentals that see so much traffic is legitimately tough, but the house is so nice that it would be great to see these issues addressed.
It's a lovely home, and we had a wonderful time in it.

Overall, the house provided a great opportunity for 4 families to enjoy a week together. The 3 floors are situated well, with a great pool and decks to spread out and enjoy. The kitchens are well stocked and the spaces were open enough for many people to gather together. The location to the beach is well situated - but the treck over the closest dune was challenging for the very young and the older members of the group. A few challenges with the house were:
- cleanliness - the steps weren’t vacuumed at all… dog hair was everywhere. Nothing was cleaned under the sofa, beds or kitchen table with trash, crumbs and dog hair present.
- grill area - power tools and nails were left out in the open. That cabana area is nice, but needs a power washing … grease, and just dirt build up could be easily cleaned up.
- Biggest issue is that the main door and the 2nd floor door have significant gaps to the outside. Bugs easily got in, but worse, we had a rough rainstorm which left significant pools of water in those entry ways. You need a way to create a seal.

This house was more and then some. We had plenty of room for us all. The kitchen had all the cooking, serving dishes and utensils that you needed. Only problem was no bath towel sets on the 3rd floor. This was resolved quickly after contacting staff via text. Plenty of large sitting areas for the whole family to gather whether eating, talking or playing games. We had family and friends from NC, Texas and NJ. We had a great time and would recommend this house.

I stayed at this house for 5 days and it was overall a very enjoyable experience. There were multiple levels with large bedrooms, bathrooms, and spaces for entertainment. The kitchen was well-stocked and we especially loved the private pool and outdoor grilling area.
The only issue was that the upstairs kitchen sink faucet disconnected when we arrived and was unusable. Maintenance was contacted each day until they had a plumber available on day 4 of our stay. Until it was fixed, we had to carry dishes that would not fit in the dishwasher to the nearby bathroom sink to wash. It was inconvenient but overall, did not affect my enjoyment of our stay.

Our family had such a wonderful time staying here. There was plenty of room and space throughout the house. The bedrooms were much larger than expected. The pool was fantastic as was the whale watch area on the roof. Plenty of dishes and cookware.
A few tips for travelers. Bring extra towels, dishwashing detergent, and coffee filters with ground coffee. There isn’t a Keurig. Overall a wonderful place to be. I highly recommend this piece of heaven as your next vacation home!

This home was perfect for our extended family trip for a long weekend. A few issues with the cleanliness but the rental company was willing to correct (we didn’t take them up on it since we had already done some of the cleaning and didn’t want a cleaning crew coming in during our short vacation). Kitchen is well equipped and furnishings nice. Short walk to the beach and close to Rodanthe pier. Rooms are large and two kitchens is a plus!

The house is very close to the beach. Easy walk for everyone in our party. The kids loved the pool and I spent most mornings drinking my coffee in the whale watch. The house was clean and meet the needs of our group.

Really nice location. Short walk to beach. 4 families, rooms were spacious and beds were ample. First floor had all you need. Kitchen.sitting room ,dishwasher and game room. We wish the house had a better seating for the whole group though. Top floor got warm during the evening meals with everyone upstairs and even going. 2 couches held 6 but the other 8 were in chairs. Would be nice to add another couch to do a horseshoe configuration. Great views and overall cleanliness. Pool was great for after beach wind down. Grocery store was 20 miles away so no quick trips to pick up a forgotten item.

Fun for all ages
Our family has been staying at different places for our week long family vacation for over 15 years. We had family members from age 2 to age 79 this year and all thought this was the best vacation we have had. But saying it had an ocean view was stretching it. and no cable Most things were available on the Smart TV 's but even the teens and children did not know how to work it. Three large trash cans would have been ample space but were full when we arrived and the were finally emptied three days into our stay

House OK, furnishing outdated.
This is a really nice house for a large family or several large families but house needs some major updating. Couches in all rooms are old and dirty. Curtains are falling down and faded. Pool gate safety latches are broken and small children are able to walk in at anytime, very unsafe. This house has two kitchens, full size upstairs and complete kitchen downstairs with full size fridge, stove and sink. Also has three dishwashers but NO blender.....what beach house doesn't have a blender.

Good location, terrible property management and house not clean
Good location. Terrible experience with property management that did not respond to calls or emails throughout our entire trip about several issues that came up throughout the stay. The home was also very worn and needs some work. Couches looked so dirty, none of us wanted to sit on them. Many items were not cleaned and the stairs to the deck felt like they were about to collapse.

Great rental for family reunion.
Had a wonderful time with 4 generations of our small family. This house has all and more than you could ask for, and has lots of space to gather together or to find some quiet peace for your self. Well stocked kitchen was amazing. the property is well maintained, clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed our visit.

First time to OBX = didn’t want to leave.
House was great. Pool was wonderful. Plenty of sleeping room plus extra .... for 13. Fully stocked everything (except a blender). The walk to the beach wasn’t bad except up and over the dunes. I highly recommend a backpack cooler and/or a cart that rolls through sand. Would definitely return in the future.
