While the location of this rental can’t be beat the condition and cleanliness leave much to be desired. It’s close to the best of Kennebunkport attractions - shops, restaurants, beach, allowing you to walk most places. However, this spot needs a handyman and a deep clean. We appreciate the fact that it is pet friendly but the overwhelming smell of animal leads me to assume it is not properly turned over between guests and that many pets have marked their territory on the many area rugs. The floors were not swept or vacuumed, yet we paid a cleaning fee. The furniture is dated and worn. Some of the amenities included in the cost were not working (dishwasher was broken, spare bath had no hot water, bathtub did not drain, master bath outlet had no electricity, air conditioning would not turn on). The host did ask to be contacted about any issues in the home, however, we did not feel like spending our four day vacation dealing with repairs, we do enough of that at home. It’s just the little things at this property that are going unaddressed. Fixing broken blinds with tape and toothpicks? The nicest part of the home is the yard which is tranquil and well manicured. We made the most of our trip but were not totally comfortable here. It was difficult as we have an almost one year old who we could not properly bathe or allow to crawl on the floor. Side note - she came home with a bacterial skin infection we suspect was contracted during our stay. This is an honest review.

What a perfect cottage. The location is ideal for getting to the beach or walking to town. Our family had a great time and will definitely book again in the future.

My family loved staying at the cozy yellow cottage in Kennebunk. The house is just a block away from restaurants, coffee shops and the bridge to Kennebunkport. We absolutely loved the neighborhood, which was super quiet in the off season of March. The house itself was perfect for the three of us and our two dogs. It had everything we needed and the kitchen was well-stocked. There was a bottle of Merlot left on the counter for us when we arrived - a nice touch that we appreciated. Everything was clean and well maintained and the place just had a good feel. We would definitely book again.

This is our 3rd winter vacation at this property and we absolutely adored it! The location is fabulous for walking around town for shopping & eating. My husband loves to run to the beach on his morning jog. The place is decorated so cute for Christmas too!!! Looking forward to visiting again next winter.

Property was within a short walking distance to town. The closeness allowed us to stroll around for an hour, get a meal, shop, take a boat cruise, or just walk the pup. The house was very quiet even though it was on the back street. The fenced in yard made things very easy for the pup and us. The house is tiny and so are the rooms. But the dining room is huge. The AC worked great but we only needed it for parts of 2 days. The listing does not state this but there is a great washer and dryer. There are even 3-4 coffee makers. There is just about every spice you could imagine. Pantry space is a bit limited and refrigerator is small, so limit your shopping. Also, there is only one bike and outside umbrella is broken. We were a couple and a dog. It may be tight with 4 adults, you better be good friends. All in all we had a very good stay and made it work for us.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this charming cottage. It is a fabulous location, a block or two to the lower village but on a quiet street. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you would need and the hosts are extremely responsive. They even provided us with travel advice for Acadia National Park where we were headed next. We had horrible weather during our stay but we're able to get down to the village in between rain downpours those meals we weren't preparing in the kitchen. We had our dog with us and she loved the yard and walks around the neighborhood and down to Gooches Beach. Highly recommend this accommodation.

This wonderfully located cottage is walking distance for the port, restaurants, and shopping. We stayed during January and enjoyed the fireplace while reading and playing games. The updated kitchen allowed us enjoy coffee in the mornings and cook dinner in the evenings. The 2 bathrooms were great, we never ran out of hot water! Absolutely perfect for the 3 nights we were there, thank you for allowing us to share this great home!

We had a wonderful stay in this charming cottage! The location is perfect. It is a very quick walk to downtown Kennebunkport /Dock Square and yet close to the beach. The home is very well appointed and comfortable. We enjoyed the backyard and being able to bring our dog with us. We look forward to a return visit!

Perfect location - we walked everywhere! Parked when we arrived and didn’t drive until time to leave. Kitchen is stocked and perfect to cook our seafood dinners! The home is a quintessential Maine Oceanside retreat - cozy, cottage with a fireplace on cool nights. The backyard was perfect with wonderful lighting, grill and fire pit. Our dog just lounged in the sun and occasionally played with a few of his toys. We can’t say enough - we loved our stay. My teenage twins wanted to stay longer- that says alot!! The hosts were responsive and a joy to deal with- thank you for making our trip so enjoyable. Truly the best college tour/ mini vacation. We will be back again.

I stayed with 3 friends for a weekend getaway which was near an event we were invited to. There was plenty of room & the house is very clean & organized. The location is perfect! So close to all attractions in Dock Square. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood & we had everything we needed for our short trip. Would love to stay there again!
