About this house rental
Welcome to Black Eagle 14! Look no further, you have found the perfect getaway in Big Sky in this 5-bedroom Black Eagle townhome, whether there is snowfall or sunshine. Located just steps from Big Sky Resort, this spacious one-of-a-kind ski-in/ski-out townhome is both luxurious and convenient.
In the winter, you are right at the base of Lone Peak! For ski access, go left out of the garage and the Bear-Back Poma Lift is just right down the road. For lunch, mid-ski day, grab burgers and brews at Montana Jack. Dinner is just a short walk to The Cabin Bar & Grill for a savory steak dinner. This restaurant is located in the Arrowhead Mall on the third floor. If you are wanting to take a break from skiing, try renting snowshoes from Grizzly Outfitters and hit the trails. Moose Tracks is a great trail to go on that is right at the base of the mountain or if you're feeling adventurous check out Beehive Basin (also a favorite spot for backcountry skiing).
During summer, get your bike rentals at Grizzly Outfitters and check out the trails all around Big Sky! Check out Lake Levinsky for some paddle boarding and water fun. On your way to Yellowstone National Park, stop at Mountain Mama's in West Yellowstone for amazing breakfast burritos and pot pies made with wild game. They also offer Grab & Go lunch boxes to take with you into Yellowstone. Don't forget to book the Lone Peak Expedition for amazing views from the top of Lone Mountain!

Summer guests are encouraged to take part in good ole' Montana A/C which is opening windows at night and closing them up during the day. Closing them during the day will help keep cool air inside, and we ask that you do so if you are not present at the home as well.
Transportation to Big Sky From Bozeman Airport:
In order to experience all that Big Sky has to offer, it is helpful to have access to a vehicle during your stay. This allows you to travel seamlessly throughout the community from the Gallatin River to Lone Peak. While ride-sharing and taxi services are abundant in other communities, Big Sky remains a small town with limited options for transportation. We offer a 5% discount code to Explore Rentals for confirmed guests. They are located minutes away from the Bozeman Airport and provide 4-wheel drive vehicles with dedicated snow tires in the winter and all-season tires in the summer!

We had a great week in Big Sky! The place was comfortable and had room for 10. The small deck only seats 6 and could use a furniture upgrade. The weirdest thing was how the upstairs bedrooms connect via a shared shower. It was awkward.

Our group loved this property. The location was amazing. Easy walk to the base and great ski in/out on the Black Bear Poma. Everyone enjoyed the great room, hanging out together with a fire roaring. The house feels light and spacious. Fits a crowd well! Only downsides were that the hot tub entrance was through a master bedroom and there wasn’t an indoor space for putting on boots. But, the garage has ample space for boots and skis if you park your car in the driveway. There’s space for two cars in the driveway.

Great location to be able to walk to mountain village- less than 5 minutes. Ski in a little tricky for beginner level skiers. So glad we stayed here and had options for eating in or going to Mountain Village. Didn't have to drive to Town Center if we didn't want to. Property company was fantastic about communication when necessary.

We cannot say enough positive things about this house and location. It was a wonderful floor plan, located within walking distance to everything we needed, working fireplace, large private hot tub, and quick response from the manager of the property. The ski in/ ski out was a little challenging. The t bar was easy enough but the return requires running a steep intermediate slope and that was challenging for our green slope family members.
Otherwise we had a great time and will return soon!

It was a wonderful floor plan, located within walking distance to everything we needed, working fireplace, large private hot tub, and quick response from the manager of the property. The ski in/ ski out was a little challenging. The t bar was easy enough but the return requires running a steep intermediate slope and that was challenging for our green slope family members.
Otherwise we had a great time and will return soon!

We loved our stay over Thanksgiving! The condo had plenty of space for our extended family and the location can’t be beat. The kids loved the bunk room and it was nice having a large private hot tub. Would definitely stay here again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our overall ski experience in Big Sky and the Black Eagle townhome was a BIG aspect of that. Plenty of room for our party of 7 adults. Lights on and music playing when we arrived. Kitchen had plenty of cooking utensils and appliances. Wood burning fireplace was ideal and plenty of dry wood to use. It took overnight for the hot tub to warm but was wonderful after our days on the Big Sky slopes. Thanks again Twin Pines!
