The efficiency, friendliness & helpfulness of everyone we interacted with was first class plus. Each & every one was passionate & proud of their establishment, & rightly so. The place was very clean & comfortable. Cosy is a word. We were not partying of course- age range 30-50’s. The ambience suited us. City centre is very accessible with the super Belfast Glider. Across the street is a new gym/pool with an excellent cafe & friendly staff. Rooms worked brilliantly for our group. Well satisfied all.

We started off ok. The house looks presentable, until disastrous events. First the cooker didn’t work, the fuse was busted but the caretaker managed to fixed it. Don’t know if she is qualified or not. But we managed to cooked and eat our dinner. Before bedtime - shower is too hot, bathroom become steamy until the light had short circuit and left it the following day to be sorted by the electrician. Bedtime- we started off fine until midnight - bed bugs crawling to one of our friends head. When he turned on the light, the bedbugs were fully engorged with blood. When we checked - there are hundreds of them hiding at the fold of headboard and mattress and bed frame. We contacted the caretaker but to no avail. So we have to move people from one room to another in the middle of the night. The following day, the caretaker and the owner were contacted and tried sorting the bedbugs but failed. We ended up moving other members of our team to other property. On Sat lunchtime while we’re out, we’re told to vacate the rooms and move to the house because they have guests to accommodate with the promise that they will fix the rooms. We resisted because we wanted to check and inspect the rooms before we’ll use it but they transferred our belongings without consent and permission. At around 5pm when our members arrived, they haven’t transferred everything leaving some stuff behind. On Inspection, the rooms wasn’t ready, there were empty steel bed frames and also the infected bed frames and mattresses were inside the same room. The owner and the caretaker were summoned and shown the situation and all they answered were because they have nowhere to put those bedbugs infested beds and mattresses . We demanded that they should provide rooms for other members of the team but It didn’t happened until 8:30 pm. We were waiting impatiently and frustrated waiting to solve the issues, we tried ringing the Vrbo support services. We were forwarded and passed on to several call agents in the Philippines, requested us to send pics and videos and put us on hold for nearly 2 hours until they reviewed the pics and videos of bedbugs crawling in the bed. They suggested us not to Accept the owner’s offer of a replacement but we don’t get any support from them. Until around 8 pm. After speaking to several persons on the other line, a certain Sofia was speaking in the other line. She send documents but offers no time to explain and support either.
