Great getaway location for four couples who get together once a year. The View is as described & pictured on VRBO. We search specifically for a property with 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms at a minimum. The open area or great room must have plenty of comfortable seating, a table that will seat 8 at one sitting and be well lit & easily accessible. This house meets all of our criteria, and it is situated in the Massanutten Resort area. The resort includes plenty of activities for all along with golf or skiing, according to the season. Also, the view from the great room allows everyone to see across the natural kettle (or bowl) of Massanutten Mountain to the crest of Massanutten and the ribbons of ski slopes extending down the side to the accommodations & amenities below. Finally, there are plenty of kitchen supplies, new towels throughout, clean modern appliances and comfortable beds. The driveway is steep with room for 2 vehicles at the top. We parked 2 more cars on the incline and set the parking brakes!

The house is very accurate regarding the information and pictures in the listing. It’s spacious, has great beds and bedrooms, the couch in the main room is comfortable, lots is places to sit at a table and eat and had all of the kitchen supplies we needed. The views form the balcony were beautiful and the location is great. We had a great time and highly recommend.

Great house for large group
The great room and kitchen of the house were roomy, with plenty of comfortable furniture in the living area for a large group. We spent time on both the front and back porches, which was very relaxing. Even got to use the fire pit in July on a cool evening. Nice view of trees as well as the ski slopes out the many windows. Would stay there again!

Wonderful family vacation
We gave our kids and their families...16 of us altogether this trip as a memorable Christmas vacation. A trip I think they will hold dear and remember when all the tots are gone. Wonderful home. .plenty of space to spread out. Huge great room. The only thing we needed and could not find...an ice tea pitcher! Every appliance and other kitchen appliances there. Even a keuric and a standard coffee pot. Loved everything. Will definitely return.

The View was spectacular!
Great Weekend at The View! Perfect for a short get together with old friends and family. Snow one the second night made it even more picturesque. Had everything we needed and would stay again.

Great Spot for Company Retreat
This house was a great location for a company planning retreat and intern training. We specifically enjoyed spending time in the great room, as it provided a space for everyone to be together for brainstorming sessions. Rooms were clean, kitchen was well-stocked, view was beautiful, and the property owners were responsive. One thing to note if you have a smaller vehicle is the steepness of the driveway. We had no issues but wouldn't want to encounter it on an icy day. Overall, however, it was a great stay!

Beautiful Home, beautiful area.
Everything was perfect with the house. Kitchen well stocked. Each room was lovely. The living room was spacious and accommodating. Only complaint was the dryer did not work very well, had to dry items 3 times. Maybe time for a new one? Other than that...5 stars all around.

Amazing time!
Not only was this house in a beautiful location but it provided my family with everything we needed! We wanted a life space with enough indoor and outdoor space for catching up and having fun- and this place was perfect! Having a washer and dryer was great, and the kitchen was perfect for meals. Massanutten is gorgeous and so much in the area to do!

Wonderful 6 bedroom home for our family vacation!
Beautiful home big enough to accommodate our 6 siblings/spouses vacation. Lovely living room with plenty of space & views of mountains and ski slopes. Well appointed kitchen with lots of items needed to fix all of our meals. Big dining room table to accommodate all of us. The bedrooms were beautiful with a tv in each room. Large front desk and smaller deck on the back of house for us to spend time depending on where the Sun was. We were in the trees...so beautiful and relaxing! Plenty of activities available at the resort. The city of Harrisonburg is about 20 minutes from the home with plenty of interesting places to visit. Would definitely stay here again!
