Located just:
1 mile from river access into South Fork Flathead River.
4 miles from Hungry Horse Dam and Hungry Horse Reservoir.
39 miles from Lakeside, on of the many towns that surround Flathead Lake, which will have everything you may need for your stay. Including, groceries, shopping, eating, and entertainment.

The house was in a perfect location for our family vacation to Glacier National Park. It was very clean and well equipped. The kitchen and 2nd floor shower were a little tight, but we made it work. Really enjoyed the yard and deck. Grocery store nearby was very convenient. Overall a great rental.

We were a group of 9 (2 families) and this property was perfect for our needs. The house and yard are beautiful and gorgeously maintained and the proximity to everything - Glacier, groceries, gas, restaurants was exceptional. Sitting on the deck at night watching the sunset over the river was a lovely way to wrap up after our long days of hiking in the park. The house is also nicely stocked with all the basics which made cooking/eating at home so much easier. We would definitely book this property again if we were to come back.

Fantastic place to relax and access Glacier NP!
The house was clean and modern, with plenty of space for 2 families (including 4 adults and 4 kids aged 7-10). The outdoor space and views of the river and mountains were way better than in the pictures! Also extremely convenient to access Glacier National Park, as well as all the towns and activities around NW Montana. I would definitely book this place again!

Wow! They really pulled the wool over our eyes on this one.
Safety was our first and foremost concern. We thought GPS sent us to the wrong location. The neighbor across the way had multiple vehicles from out of state all parked along their property. It looked like a car junkyard. And they had religious paraphernalia and signs all posted outside their home. Talk about scary! We were encouraged by the property manager to park our car on the street, we were hesitant after seeing this, but while the garage remains free
We checked all the windows and doors for security, low and behold 5 windows wouldn't lock. One can easily slide them open from the outside and gain access to the inside.
The property itself looks nice! It was the neighborhood and neighbor that was the greatest concern.
We are strangers coming into strange place. We didn't feel safe. We contacted the property manager about the windows, she asked me what I wanted her to do at 6pm at night as she was 45 minutes away.
We found firewood to use as dowels and placed them all along the window tracks. And also stated "feel free to look for more wood in the woods behind the property".
Are you kidding me?
I'm on vacation and shouldn't have to worry about this.
Then we went out to dinner. As night cap, we wanted to have camomile tea to help ease us and relax us to sleep. The kettle had white residue on rinsing. So I took a closer look at the inside. Well someone had used it to boil milk? in. It made me think, they really didn't clean the property between client use. It made me think also, were the bedsheets and towels cleaned as well if in the first few hrs we're finding this!
The next day , by the dining table we found bottled water cap and what seems like 2 mice droppings. Ugh! We were only going to stay 4 night and 3 days. I don't want our vacation ruined by complaints piling up by the day. Plus who wants to spend all day playing phone tag while you're on vacation with little or no cell coverage to the very place where we were going
Close to Glacier National Park was one reason why we chose this place. They were only 11 miles away. BUT, for peace of mind, we would have stayed elsewhere. I felt like I was in the ghetto!
The supermarket down the road was robbed so they had a wanted sign and a picture of the perp on their window. Not to mention the colorful people hanging out the laundromat next to the supermarket.

here were 4 rooms and they were located on 3 different levels. There was some issue with the airconditioning, there was no vetn int he room the basement. The basement room would get very hot and the 2 rooms on the second floor were too hot. None of us could sleep well the first night, we communicated this with the caretaker and she provided some guidance on closing the vents in on level 1 and opening the windows which helped. Overall a very beautiful property, we used the backyard everyday. We had a comfortable stay. The locatioon is very close to the west entrance of the park.

Comfortable home near West Glacier
Clean, well-decorated home located about 15 minutes from West Glacier entrance. Ample room for our group of 4 adults and 4 children. We were each a family of four. The layout of the home made it easy to separate spaces for each of our families.
Beds were comfortable with plenty of extra blankets available.
Kitchen and laundry area are a great convenience. The back yard with deck, fire pit, and grill made our evenings enjoyable and relaxing after a long day of hiking in the park. The view and sounds of the river are beautiful and add to the ambiance while sitting outside. There was a large eagles nest in a tree across the river. We were able to see two bald eagles flying around and in the nest a couple of times.
Thank you for a comfortable stay! ☺️

Gorgeous house and beautiful view of the river!
Our family of 4 stayed here in order to be close to Glacier National Park. We drove about 15 min to enter the West Glacier entrance and hiked several incredible hikes, ie John’s lake and Avalanche lake. We rented a small boat and took it around Lake McDonald. We also drove the rugged road to Boman’s lake, stopping in Polebridge for food along the way. We also drove to the east entrance to Glacier through St Mary’s which also had incredibly stunning hikes along Going to the Sun Road.
We were very comfortable in this home with plenty of space . We could have had 2 more stay in the bunk room which is reachable going through the master bedroom. The beds were all super comfy. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans to cook with. We also used the small fire pit in the backyard. The grocery store just a few steps away had everything we needed as well as a gas station nearby. The owner left a welcome bag with popcorn and toiletries, which was a nice touch. We would highly recommend this home and would definitely return in the future!

First time in Glacier
Our stay was wonderful!! The house had just been updated all throughout and was beautiful. We were about 15 minutes outside of the West Glacier entrance. It was very conveniently located. The view and back porch area were both amazing! I wish we had more time to stay at this house. One of the best VRBO experiences we have had!
