Conveniently located between Main Street and Wine Road 290, Stay Awhile is the perfect couples retreat decked out in modern furnishings. The open concept living and dining area combines comfort and luxury and has everything you need to whip up a gourmet meal or enjoy the Smart TV from the comfy sofa. Just outside on the spacious private patio, wind down after a beautiful day in the Hill Country with a glass of wine. The private bath offers upscale finishes and plenty of room to get ready for the day. At night, retreat to the king bedroom adorned with a shiplap accent wall and furnished with crisp white linens. “Stay Awhile” and enjoy all this newly constructed suite has to offer.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin was perfect; well stocked, great amenities, great location, and a wonderfully comfortable bed. I would highly recommend this place for a getaway.

The home was extremely clean and kept up real well. Spent the days at the wineries and the early evenings on Main St. We were able to come home to a very relaxing home. This property is perfectly located a few minutes from Main St. so we didn’t have any difficulty moving around whatsoever. My wife loved the way the home was decorated and how comfortable it was. We fully enjoyed our stay and will book again soon!

I can't recommend Stay Awhile enough! It was built with quality and beauty, is spotlessly clean and oh so comfortable. The decor is very tasteful, and I loved the seasonal fall touches! The bed felt great and the pillows and towels were nice and fluffy. I was in Fredericksburg for a little get-away all by myself and this was just the place I needed to stay! Everything was perfectly comforting and welcoming the minute I walked in the door. Just fyi, the shops are about a 5-minute drive or less away. The house is located in a quiet area, but there is some mild road noise, probably from Main Street. I'd definitely rate Stay Awhile 5 stars. Add a washer and dryer and a few more dishes in the (very beautiful) kitchen--large serving bowl for salad or mixing and a pitcher, for example--and it would bump it up to 10 stars!

The energy was exactly what we was needing. We found ourselves at the rental more than out and about. It was perfect! The back patio in the early AM and in the evening was peaceful. Quiet. We have 5 kids and needed exactly what we got.

Fabulous little cottage. New cozy cottage with all the amenities. Very comfortable! Great location within 10 minutes to Historic Downtown and many restaurants and wineries. We would definitely recommend to family and friends.

The place was perfect for us. Everything from the stocked kitchen with snacks, bottle of wine, coffee, to comfortable bed and beautiful decor. We loved our stay and highly recommend. Only thing missing was a washer and dryer but since there is a place for one I assume they will be adding this soon.

I have previously stayed close to the action - within walking distance to the main shopping. This property was just enough out of the main stream of traffic, so it was super quiet at night. The owner worked with me immediately in altering my nights stay. Attention has been put into making sure the room was super clean, cozy and inviting for our stay. I cannot say enough about this property and will be re-booking at a time in the near future.

We had a (too) quick get-a-way to celebrate my husbands birthday…this was a perfect, relaxing, kid-free property that was thoughtfully appointed and charming. Comfortable space and bed - EXCELLENT window coverings so we could sleep in! Just lovely. We are planning to go back for our anniversary later this year.

It was just as advertised. Only things not good were the flies out on the beautiful patio area limiting our time there plus the bathroom tub drained so slowly that our feet were submerged while showering.
