The evening dinner prepared by staff was excellent and reasonably priced. The hotel is very close to the Saturday market. Room was large and comfortable.

La familia que acoge en este hospedaje es sencillamente increíble. Muy acogedora, amigable y servicial.
Conocen muy bien la zona y saben ofrecer muchas oportunidades de turismo conforme a los intereses que se tengan en el viaje.
Formidable lugar.

The shower in our room did not had hot water but the shared bathroom did and we had to pay extra for the pool and jacuzzi service but since wey were only 2 persons they said that the pool we could not use only they jacuzzi.
I don't like when You offered a service on the web and don't respect that

Such beautiful craftsmanship in the location! Felt so at home and welcome.
It was hard to communicate through booking.

The hotel and the staff is really nice.
It is the perfect location when starting or finishing the Quilotoa Loop.

Everything very clean and the owner is super kind
The only thing that could be reviewd is the shower, it was super hot or super cold :(

The breakfast provided was filling and overall great!
Considering we were the only guests at the time, the spa/pool was not working. This was really not a problem and likely we were just too early in the season.

the host was very kind and always ready to help. it was cold and provided some heaters for the room. He also prepared a fire in the living room to help us warm up.
The shower was good and overall the value for money is great.
it is 15minutes away by taxi from the end of Quilotoa trail. Nonetheless, the facilities are probably better than the ones of the hostels at the end of trek.
Cash only.

The hotel was clean and solidly build. Breakfast/dinner was tasty and affordable. Easy to get to the Quilotoa crater (quick taxi or bus)

Hostess was extremely kind and helpful, she was constantly taking care of us,even heated the hottub and brought drinks for us,Breakfast was great as well, varied with lots of fresh fruits.
We did not like the town very much.

Off road parking space was available but not secure. Small inconsequential village but only a short drive to the top of the route down to Quilotoa crater lake, however there are a couple of hotels at the actual site which also had restaurants and a bit more atmosphere.
The room at Imperial was excellent, spacious with lovely comfy beds, warm bedding and a nice large shower room, though the hot water was a bit sketchy. We sat downstairs in the evening playing cards because there was a cosy fire. The family were sitting there too and were welcoming, we had a clumsy but charming conversation with the aid of google translate, & my son played pool with the young boy, Alejandro, which pleased him. A stay with a feel of being part of the family.
We were a little disappointed that the jacuzzi was not available when we were there, but it was explained that this was not seasonal (it had been wet).
There wasn't really anywhere locally to get an evening meal.

Hospitality was exceptional. Staff went so far above and beyond for us.
The location was great too, 2 mins from the local market.
Finally the pool and jacuzzi was a real treat for the price we paid

Room was big, super comfy warm bed which is ideal in the mountain climate. Bathroom was clean and shower was hot. Food excellent and the host was very helpful. This place stands out from the external area.
We were allowed to store our bikes safely in the reception area, room for 2 small bikes.
No issue with the hotel.

The bed was comfortable, and we had a wonderful lady taking care of us while we were the only guest in the hotel. She went to buy stuff as all was closed in the hotel...
The bar and restaurant were closed... and there is nothing else in the city. We arrive after a long walk and early afternoon, so it was a real issue. The lady who took care of us cooked what she found in the fridge... but it was
Room had a window... inside. So no privacy if the curtain is not closed. Luckily, no other guest on that day!
It got really cold and there was no heating that worked properly...

The location was right in town, but the town was having a festival, so noisy until wee hours.
Hi,
We splurged, thinking after a long day of hiking the hot tub (jacuzzi) would be a nice treat, and paid almost twice as much as usual (for our second choice, no pool or hot tub). When we got back after our hike, we asked about it, and were told it would take 20 minutes to heat it up. 2 hours later, we were told it was ready, it was still freezing. So we gave up. The pool was not just cold, it was freezing. About an hour later we were told the hot tub was ready, about 3 hours wait, and after 10 pm.
On top of that, it was cold, were were given a heater, that never worked. We kept being told to wait 10 minutes, 20 minutes ... and come get them if it was still not on. Eventually, they agreed it was not going to work, and that they had no others. Our room was freezing, I slept in pants and a hoodie, with the hoodie up.
Breakfast was okay, but the least impressive of all our other guest houses, and this was the most expensive.
Lastly, we asked about the festival, and were told it would all be done by mid night, it was well into the wee hours, after 2 am. Not their fault, just wish they had of been honest, we may have just moved on, spent the night in another town, or put ear plugs in to start, not be fumbling around at 2 am to find them. Mid night and after 2 is very different when you want to leave at 6 am the next day.

I enjoyed my days in zumbahua a lot, and that mostly thanks to the hosts of this nice hotel. The room was clean, strong wifi, good breakfast and a central location. But I really have to thank everyone working there. A superfriendly, caring and helpful family, doing everything they can to ensure you have a good time.

The staff is very very kind and helpful, really recommend a stay in this hotel. 15 mins to Quilotoa. Would defenitely book again.

Nice little place 30 minutes from Laguna Quilotoa. We had dinner there the night we arrived which was excellent! No heating but they provided a radiator heater which did the trick; good WiFi. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.
It seemed like the water was turned off in the middle of the night so we couldn’t wash our hands when we woke up to use the restroom. Not sure if this is every night or was just a one time thing; either way, it wasn’t a big deal.

This is an amazing place to stay in Zambahua. Right next to the Saturday market, comfortable room with warm shower and bed. Family who owns it is very nice and cooked us a great dinner. Highly recommend this place
Nothing really

The hotel is very cute, very nice host and dinner was really good (home made for 5 USD)
We got an upgrade for free which was very nice.
The host also prepared the jacuzzi for us.
The drive up to the village is very picturesque and Quilotoa is only a 20 minute drive.
The room was a little bit cold (but there were blankets for a warm night)
