We loved our stay. Close enough to Asheville to enjoy the city but also far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet of the mountains.

We loved the outdoor area. There’s a TV out there and very comfortable seating. The hot tub worked great, the jets were strong and felt great! My boys loved the game room/theater. We had a family movie night in there one night. The hosts were very responsive to questions we had.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in this cottage. The renovations to the house are modern and nice and we were very comfortable. I hot tub was great and the outdoor fireplace and tv were nice. There are several jets not working in the hot tub but it was still relaxing. We hope to return in the future.

This was a nice house for our family to stay in during spring break. Just as described in the listing, and the location was excellent. Communication with the owners was great, we had an issue with our messages not being sent, and I contacted her on her personal number and she responded in a timely manner. The pros of this house was:
-location
-clean
-has a washer and dryer
-extra linens
-surrounding neighborhood was great, I never felt unsafe at any time
-the beds and pillows were so comfortable
The cons were
-the outside of the home could use a good cleaning (there was cobwebs around the hot tub area)
-the floor in the hall way/ bathroom area sloped a little
-bed in the master was close to the ground (wouldn't be good for older people, but was fine for us)
Overall a good place to stay and I would stay here again

The trip was originally planned as a gift to my partner and my best friends partner. We then decided to get married while we were there. The cottage was all we hoped it would be and we were able to bring my k9 partner along as well.

My wife and I stayed here and thought it was great. The area felt very private and everything inside seemed updated. This was a really easy drive to downtown, and everything else you'd want s. We would definitely stay here again.

Great private spot near everything. We enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. Would stay here again. .

The pictures are a bit deceiving. What you can’t see in the pictures is this is an older house that has had a new coat of paint slapped on the 10 coats that are already there. The house is basically falling in on itself as the floors have lots of dips and you can see how the ceilings droop. It smells moldy as soon as you walk in. The kitchen and bathroom has been updated. There was a food stain on the counter and on the cabinet door as well as crumbs all over the stovetop. There were several stains on the comforter in the king room, but the bed and pillows were comfortable. There was a load of towels left in the dryer. It just seemed like the house keeper got in a hurry and didn’t do a good job or just doesn’t care. The couch is wore out and very uncomfortable and the rug in the living room was stained so bad I didn’t want to walk on it with sock feet. Just walking in and seeing the stains and food crumbs left on the counter and stove and then seeing the stains on the comforter and the rug, it just made me question the cleanliness of the whole house.

The cottage was clean and comfortable and the hosts have stocked it with everything one might need. The beds are super comfy! We enjoyed sitting outside most of time. It's quite and up off the road.

Location was great. A few snags along the way. Spoke with owner and all was good. House is very secluded and the hot tub was the best. House is decorated nice but old structure of house makes for some challenges. Bed in main room is low to ground, therefore older people may have trouble getting in and out.

Newly renovated and beautifully decorated, with enough quirks to remind you it's a vintage country cottage. Plenty of privacy (with leaves on the trees). Hot tub and fire pit were so relaxing... We enjoyed watching the birds and bunnies and badgers.
Clean and well stocked (except for flatware- only four place settings). The host, Lisa, was very responsive when we had difficulty locking the door with the key code lock. She was there in 20 minutes. Showed us how it works and we had no further problem. Would love to visit again!

This newly renovated home was just perfect. Everything is there. You open the door in morning and relax with your coffee while the birds chirp away among the trees while you plan your day. At the end of a long day made a bonfire and relaxed
