Murray Hill in Annapolis, a historic neighborhood founded in 1651. Since then, the neighborhood has grown and encompasses the area between Cathedral Street to Chase Street and West Street to Spa Creek. Murray Hill is a beautiful collection of homes built in various periods and architectural styles. The many tree-lined streets and views of Spa Creek make it a very desirable community to live in. Its walking proximity to downtown restaurants and bars, as well as Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts also contributes to the desirability of the neighborhood.
This is a second floor apartment with its own entrance. There is a separate apartment downstairs (sleeps 3), also available for rent.
Bennett House can be rented as two separate apartments ("a" is the ground floor with one king size bedroom, kitchen, living room and bathroom, and "b" has a king bedroom, a full bedroom, a queen sofa bed, living room, kitchen and bathroom). Both have separate entrances, original hardwood floors, historic character and are filled with light. They are ofter a quiet haven in the centre of downtown Annapolis.

My colleague and I stayed at the Bennett house for 6 nights during the US Sailboat Show. Kathy could not have been a better host for us. The apartment was easily accessed on arrival and waiting for us was a nice note and a bottle of wine (thank you Kathy!!).
The apartment is on a quiet, tree-lined residential neighborhood, but a short walk to downtown.I recommend the Lighthouse Bistro for breakfast, which is about a 5 minute walk. The apartment was spotless on arrival, there was plenty of towels and the beds were nice and comfortable.
Kathy checked in a few times via VRBO to make sure all was well, which it was.
Thank you again Kathy!
