During a whirlwind 3 week tour of the England, Scotland, and Finland our group of five (5) stayed at this townhome in a lovely area of Edinburgh for a few nights. It was a beautiful property with plenty of room(s). We had a question about parking and the owner answered the phone immediately and provided us information about public parking areas in the vicinity. Check-in process was smooth and the location cannot be beat. The only minor whining we heard was that the kids could not get wifi in the upstairs rooms. Other than that-- great rental!

Beautifully appointed house in a very convenient and quiet location. Large reception rooms worked well for my family and guests. Housekeepers were very friendly and the house was immaculately cleaned for our arrival. Would have used the back patio, but weather did not permit it.

The home is beautiful and the garden is a wonderful bonus. It is in a quiet, elegant neighborhood walking distance of many excellent shops and restaurants in Newtown. We also often walked to locations in Old Town. The manager was responsive to requests and altogether our stay was fantastic. Not surprisingly, given the style and age of the home, there are quite a few stairs inside. No issue for those who enjoy walking but worth considering if traveling with very young children, seniors, or others with movement restrictions.

Thank you for sharing your lovely home. The architecture is stunning and the location was perfect for walking the city. There are a lot of stairs so if you have anyone in your party with mobility issues you will want to consider it. The stair case and windowed ceiling are so beautiful you hardly notice the climb.

This was no ordinary holiday house, but rather an experience to remember. Think Georgian grandeur, rooms so large that each one is the size of a city apartment, attic rooms with views to Princes Street in the south and to Fife in the north. I grew up in Edinburgh’s new town, but this was a trip down memory lane that was both memorable and a real joy. The house accommodated 7 adults with ease, the beds were super comfy, and we could not have wanted for more.

The location of the property was excellent and it was a very lovely house. However the kitchen equipment could have been better and there could have been more china. Some of the cupboard doors needed some attention. The bathrooms were all excellent as were the bedrooms. Our family had a very enjoyable stay.
