Stunning Newly Renovated Historic Loft in Trendy Gastown
Koret Lofts is a converted 1906 heritage warehouse building in the trendy Gastown neighbourhood of Vancouver.
One of only 9 Penthouse units in the building, this loft combines the openness and volume of a true historic loft, with the privacy of two demised bedrooms. It features its own patio with high top seating and a gas grill, as well as a private rooftop deck, with custom teak seating area and fire table, and incredible views of downtown Vancouver, Burrard Inlet and the North Shore mountains.
Completely renovated in 2021, this two bedroom, one and one half bathroom unit is approximately 1,500 sq. ft. with 14 foot ceilings, and high end finishes throughout.
Parking is readily available immediately across the street at Easypark on Cordova. The neighbourhood provides most needed amenities - including a grocery store and many restaurants and bars - all within easy walking distance. Our listing is compliant with City of Vancouver short term bylaws and Province of BC short term rental restrictions.

Fantastic well appointed apartment with really helpful and informative hosts 2 mins walk from Water Street, and 10 mins walk from (main) Waterfront Station and another 2 to Canada Place.
Great Restaurants and interesting shops nearby.

Our stay at the loft was incredible! Absolutely beautiful condo. Large, open and airy with a great rooftop patio and fire pit. We enjoyed sitting up there and seeing the mountains, ocean and cruise ships.
The loft was beautifully decorated and included everything needed for the stay (e.g., coffee, oil, spices, etc.)
Communication with the hosts was very prompt and friendly. We will definitely be staying here again on our next visit to Vancouver!

This was our favorite Vrbo on a 2.5 week trip up the west coast. The place is beautiful, just like the pictures. Clean. Beds were comfortable. We walked everywhere to eat easily. We are looking forward to going back again.

We had a fantastic experience in this downtown loft. The view was lovely through an entire wall of windows and the rooftop deck with fire pit was great to enjoy with a glass of wine or bourbon at the end of the day. While we loved being in Gastown and near so many unique businesses, we didn't expect the amount of unsheltered people in this area actively engaging in drug use. Also, while the townhouse was relatively clean, at this price point more attention should be paid to dusting and floor corners throughout the space. The beds were extremely comfortable and the provision of a quality bluetooth speaker was a wonderful perk.

This loft is stunning. Clean lines, decorated nicely, open yet still cozy while sitting in front of the fire or the TV. The views from the roof are wonderful. The hosts, Kerri and John, have made the check-in process easy and they were both quick to respond with questions.
* I would suggest trying to find street parking versus using the EasyPark lot if you can.

The loft was just like in the pictures, very clean and comfortable. If the weather was better we would have made use of the roof top patio, it has a great fire table and a nice view of the water.

We loved our 5 day stay. The condo was very comfortable and spacious with all the amenities.
The check-in and check-out processes went smoothly.
Ideally located, we never needed to use the public transit system to get to the various sites. We were going to Rogers’ Arena daily and it was a pleasant 10 minute walk.
Excellent communication with the owners prior to our stay.
We would definitely stay there again in the future.

Wow this place was amazing, the view the amenities were just over the top. John and Kerri were amazing host, responded when I need something. The place is just outstanding, pictures looked just like the place. 10 out of 10 .

We stayed in this property at the end of a long family vacation - it was a definite highlight for us. The apartment is exactly per the description on VRBO - plenty of space with a nice dining area, balcony and roof top barbecue area. It is located very near several terrific restaurants and is a short distance from Canada Place (great for running/cycling to Stanley Park). The owners manage the property and are very responsive and obliging. Having stayed in similar properties in the US, Australia and Europe this one rates at the upper end and we have no hesitation in recommending it.

We all enjoyed our visit to Vancouver! The loft exceeded our expectations and we would definitely come back! We loved the open concept and exceptionally high ceilings! We were in town for business for 1 week. The weather was rainy sometimes quite heavy, to be expected for Vancouver I suppose for that time of year. And though we could not really make the time to get out and see the city, we enjoyed enjoyed our stay and don’t really have any complaints. The condo was larger than expected, which was good, since there were 3 people in our party; we all had some personal space. Being on the upper floor was also nice, access to a roof top patio was available. Communicating with Kerri and John was great, both were very responsive, this exceeded my expectations. And checking in and out was a breeze.

Very comfortable! Stylish home away from home!
Loved the contemporary styling. Very new!! The space was huge for our family of four which allowed us to really spread out our belongings and make ourselves feel at home. To echo other people’s reviews, their really is minimal privacy within the unit and between bedrooms which wasn’t a big problem for us. Also, there is only one full bathroom accessible through the primary bedroom. Good news is that the shower is fabulous!! To be fair, one should be aware of the large number of homeless people on the sidewalks on a couple of surrounding sidewalks in a couple of directions from the loft’s secure entry. Again, not a deal breaker for us, but if you want a good view of the area do a virtual tour via “Street view” on google maps.
During our stay we found that the easy park lot that was 1.5 blocks West on Cordova was far superior to the one that is on the east side (though it’s closer to the loft building)
While we stayed here, we discovered many fabulous place to eat and we especially loved Di Bebbe a wonderful Italian cafe and full restaurant. Enjoy!! :)

Big City Living!
We absolutely loved our stay at Kerri & John's loft. The four of us (2 adults/2 kids) enjoyed the feeling of living in the big city for a couple of days. The space is large and well stocked. The roof deck is amazing! And the location / proximity to Vancouver is perfect. The loft is right around the corner from Water Street in Vancouver's Gastown neighborhood (highly recommend the restaurant Locals). An easy 10 minute walk to Canada Place. Can't say enough good things about this loft and our time in Vancouver!

Great six days in Vancouver
We stayed in the great Loft of Kerri and John end of June for six nights. The Loft is absolutely great. Clean, comfortable lodging, centrally located, great owner communication
Kerri and John's property is spacious, clean, comfortable and has many amenities that will helped us enjoy our stay, including their beautiful private rooftop terrace with a propane fireplace and a gorgeous view of Vancouver. Other useful amenities include wifi, coffee maker or french press, washer and dryer, etc. The beds are comfortable. The location is very convenient to Gas Town, Stanley Park, bike rental shops, coffee shops, great restaurants and is central enough so that it's easy to get just about anywhere in the city. For people who aren't accustomed to large cities, I must note that there is a lot of 'city noise' throughout the night (sirens, people yelling). This noise originates from outside the building and so the owners have no control over it- there was no noise from inside the building and the building is very secure with a locked gate, a locked exterior door, and an elevator that won't ascend without the proper key, so you are safe. The city noise is just a trade-off for such a central location. We had to purchase toilet paper and paper towels for our stay. I'm not sure if that is standard outside of the U.S.?

The place is beautiful , very modern and clean , I love the location walking distance to many nice restaurants and bars and coffee shops but for family of 4 with two older daughters we had absolutely no privacy since the bedrooms are not closed up and is more like loft bedrooms ! But I have to say the beds were the best part of it experience , very comfy!

The place is beautiful , very modern and clean , I love the location walking distance to many nice restaurants and bars and coffee shops but for family of 4 with two older daughters we had absolutely no privacy since the bedrooms are not closed up and is more like loft bedrooms ! The outdoor spaces are wonderful, especially the private roof top deck with it’a spectacular 360 degree views of the city, water and mountains in the background. The living, dining and kitchen area were spacious and comfortable to live in. Kerri was a great host and communicator. We welcomed the recommendations for restaurants and shopping when we arrived at the loft. Thank you for the welcome bottle of Prosecco and picking up some olive oil for our cooking needs. You will be hard pressed to find such a wonderful spot in one of the great areas of Vancouver. We will be back!
