This was our third visit to Coral Cove. We just love it, being so close to the water, relaxing always listening to the waves. We like the home open design, it is well stocked and is always clean. A very nice place.

We had the best stay again this year at this wonderful little cottage. It gets better every year!! Thanks for providing a great home that is so cozy and peaceful. Looking forward to hopefully coming again next year for our annual family vacation.

This charming cottage was perfect for our beach vacation. Slaughter beach is quiet and natural and a just a little bit remote. The cottage has direct access to the beach and is on a quiet road just right for biking or jogging. Everything is exactly as pictured in the listing and the hosts were helpful but left us with our privacy. Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed our stay at this cottage. It is in a purely residential neighborhood and right on the beach. The house is very well appointed and comes with many of the essentials (linens, toiletries, paper gods, cookware) and non essentials (beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, bikes) you will need for your stay. And the property grounds are gorgeous!

We really enjoyed our stay at Coral Cottage. The place was beautiful and quiet. It was very well stocked with lots of great things. It is so close to the beach and you can see the water from the back of the house. The sunrises were spectacular. I recommend stopping at one of the local farm markets along the road. We loved it so much!!!

We had a great time as a family of 4 adults, 2 children under 4 years and 2 dogs. The property was clean and comfortable. We played games, sat on the beach, rescued a horseshoe crab back to the water and watched a turtle come up the beach and lay its eggs. Overall, a good time for all. The 4th of July fireworks we awesome right on the beach. No need to travel for them.

The cottage was so lovely, clean and well stocked. It was wonderful to see the water from just about anywhere in the house. Thoughtful touches made us feel so welcome and made the cottage so inviting.
We were thrilled to witness the turtles laying their eggs. We saw a shark one day, a fox and many different types of birds. What a wonderful week.
I will definitely be back!

My family spent a week at the Coral Cottage and we loved it! It had everything we needed and was super clean.
We loved the quick walk to the water. It was literally steps away. The natural, quiet feel of the beach was a nice change from the very busy, crowded beaches in other towns. We would definitely return.

Relaxing setting with great sunrises! Wonderful beach walks, exciting fishing during high tide and quiet! We love the Delaware natural beaches in the bay. This cottage is a perfect getaway (and it is close to dogfish head brewery). Highly recommended.

The house was perfect for us, tucked just behind the dunes so it was plenty private, but so close to a quiet stretch of beach that it was easy to just wander out for a walk before (and after) breakfast. The house itself is really nicely put together - cozy, clean, and well appointed with lots of convenient little touches. We would absolutely stay again!

This is a perfect out of the way property to relax and enjoy the ocean. Well kept and very cottage like feel. Comfortable and well appointed with plenty of options to keep occupied from beach walking, lots of games and a relaxing feel. Perfect for a family or a couple to reconnect.

There's windows on all sides of the house. The wall that faces the beach/bay is all windows, so you see the water at all times of day. It keeps you connected with the bay.

We had a wonderful time as a coaching staff. Everything was easily accessible and really beautiful. It was the perfect opportunity to relax after games on the beach. We even did a little workout and polar plunge. Highly recommend for any stay in the area. We will definitely be back to stay in the future!

This was a perfect place for us to get away and have some unplug time as a family. The beach was lovely, we took 2-3 walks a day down the beach flipping horseshoe crabs, skipping rocks, playing fetch. It was awesome. We will be back.

2nd time staying in this charming, beach front cottage. So clean and well equipped (beach towels etc) & super quick and clear communication with owners. There is lovely open kitchen & family room. It is perfect for small family or friends get away. Plus wall of windows to see sunrise!

We had a wonderful time!
The house was clean, the beds comfortable, plenty of fresh towels, and even free shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were available if needed. They even had fresh cut flowers when we arrived.
We will definitely rent again!

This was our second stay as we enjoyed our first visit. Our second stay was just as nice. Very quiet and clean place. The host is very responsive and flexible. I highly recommend this place.

We just had another fabulous weekend at the cottage & the weather could not have been better! The cottage has everything you could want & communication with the 2 lovely ladies who own it, was super quick. We had amazing sunrises & sunsets, & our pup could not wait to run out the door & play on the beach. We could not have had a better place to stay…loved it!

Our family of four had a wonderful long weekend stay at Coral cottage. Beautiful views, perfect weather, and comfortable accommodations. The property managers have really put a lot of thought and care into ensuring their guests are comfortable at the cottage and all ages have everything they need. First time visiting Slaughter beach and we will be back!

Attention to detail and amenities, LARGE-screen tv and board games from long ago. We went just to relax and watch the water. We had great weather and went out to dinner so, we didn’t use the kitchen, it seemed as though it had everything that you would need. Views are delightful, kind neighbors with a Cavalier K.C. Spaniel it’s hard not to meet someone on the beach or out on the road. Thanks for sharing your place.

Great location. Very quiet neighborhood. Cottage has all the basics you need and stores and outlets are close enough by. Cottage is very cozy with windows all around so you can see the ocean, sun rise or set.
Beach can't get any closer- not to mention dog friendly and very private. Great area to walk. Water is very calm and not deep even at high tide so great for young kids or fur babies.
We had one minor issue in house that owner came by to help with. If you need anything, she is very responsive and can also give you ideas of things to do in the area.
Would stay here again!

Even if the weather wasn't stellar (it was!) this property is a perfect place to spend some time.
Kelly and crew were extremely responsive- location was wonderful as was the actual space- tastefully and comfortably decorated with perfect curated accessories to meet all human ( and doggie) visitors.
It was uncanny how accurate the listing photos were to the actual property (and you know how THAT can go!)
I'd definitely return to this swimmable bay beach- close to anything you need as well at Rehobeth beach, but (perfect for me) away from the big beach experience.

While we truly enjoyed our stay there were two specific issues that greatly diminished the experience,
1. Ants is the kitchen. Constant issue.
2. Overgrown bushes around the patio/deck. Bushes are much larger than pictured.
Again, we had a nice relaxing time but the constant ant issue was annoying.

We had a great 4th of July long weekend at this gorgeous beach house! Amazing ocean view, very beautiful interior, very comfortable beds!! And just several steps to the Slaughter beach! The house was very clean and cozy. Fresh flowers were a beautiful addition! :) Thank you so much for everything and hope to come back next year! :)

Stop your search. You found the best with Coral Cottage! The house is perfect. It is clean, beautiful and safe. The owners provide everything you need from beach chairs to a comfy bed to easy access to a private beach! It is an easy drive to other beaches and a variety of restaurants. We have stayed here twice and are ready to book this cottage next year!

The reviews are all true. The cottage is lovely and really does have everything you need. (Tip: if you can't find it, look in the shed and I promise you will!) Everything from plentiful bath and beach towels to dishes to board games, the place has more accommodations than most VRBOs.
The weather didn't cooperate on our week there (Mother Nature does that sometimes) but we were very comfortable in the cottage and rode out a pretty ferocious wind and rainstorm for a few days, and the cottage was perfectly weathertight. Excellent heating and cooling system. Spotless modern appliances and a huge SmartTV allowed us to hunker down in comfort.
The beach would be particularly good for families with small children with its calmer bayside waves. We were treated to watching little crabs scurry about, and a turtle riding the waves to shore before crossed to the dunes. On the good days we could get out and walk we saw a gorgeous red fox, and also an osprey perched over the marsh.
This is a great spot for families looking to avoid overcrowded, overcommercialized boardwalks. Just bring groceries and you have everything you need!

The Coral Cottage was lovely! Sunrise view of the bay and beach was a few steps away. Open floor plan with comfortable couches, chairs and huge tv. Kitchen was well equipped and bedrooms were tastefully decorated like a 5 star hotel. Kathy, the owner, checked in with us upon our arrival and was very helpful. Jameson, my Golden Retriever, loved the getaway, too! Would definitely come back.

Remote and quiet. Easy access to Lewes, Rehobeth, Cape Henhelopen within 30-35 minutes.

We enjoyed the cottage and the surroundings. It was exactly what we needed to refresh and recharge. The hosts were so accommodating in every way, from availability to everything we needed to helping make sure the lights were on because we had to check in after dark. Beautiful place to stay, we'll return for sure.

We had a fabulous long weekend staying at Kathleen’s beach cottage. It was the perfect size for my husband & I, plus pup. The cottage is beautiful & attention has gone into every detail. We were there on a very cold Sunday, but felt totally warm & cozy. It was such a treat to spend time in this lovely, clean property. Checking in was a breeze & Kathleen promptly answered the one question we had. We can’t wait to return! The only thing I would point out is that the bedrooms & bathroom are small, making this property ideal for couples or families with small children, but maybe not for larger groups.
