This hotel was not “charming” as they state in the description, and thankfully we only stayed at there one night.

It was convenient that breakfast was included in our stay.

Our overall experience was that the location seemed sketchy, the A/C didn’t work well in our room, the room itself was very rundown, and there was mold/mildew in shower.

The staff were very nice but the immediate surroundings were uncomfortable to walk through.

Adequate. The choice of cooked breakfast was ok. No fresh juices which was unusual.

The immediate exterior of the hotel was extremely uncomfortable with dodgy people loitering around. The occasional presence of parked police cars was comforting but did not dispel the sense of unease while walking through the first 100 meters out of the hotel.

Great location for a quick weekend in Bologna

Cannot beat the location about 8 mins from piazza maggiore (although that does mean you can’t park at the hotel), breakfast was pretty good for Italy kids loved having fresh waffles, crepes and pancakes made for them

No restaurant apart from breakfast but you don’t need it as everywhere is open really late and it’s all close by

Ideal location for sights and tried many of the eating recommendations we were offered.

Very good breakfast. Front desk staff extremely friendly and helpful. Spotlessly clean. No issues with clean towels and sheets changed regularly.

Breakfast staff were efficient but not overly warm. Would have added an extra point if we’d had tea/ coffee tray in the room.

A wonderful start to our holiday vi would highly recommend to anyone and fully intend to go back.

Breakfast was excellent. Well laid out continental style with a good choice and a great a La carte menu too. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Location was brilliant we could walk everywhere.

Excellent, staff, perfect breakfast with one of the best breakfast hosting, ever, Great location only about 10mins from the centre. small bar area, smaller than the photos sugget. Chocolates left each night on the bed. If we went back would probably try somewhere else, but woudl also stay here again. Reception were great. The staff make the hotel.

It is near the university and the streets around it look a little rough, lots of graffiti and all the things that go with student nightlife nowadays ! .Once in the Hotel you feel very safe and we never had a problem and no worse than parts of London. No tea/coffee tray in the room and the shower head kept falling down. The picture of the main square and shwoing the twoes in the Hotel pictures was not taken from the hotel.

Not a 4 star hotel. We were totally misled by the description.

absolutely nothing

Hotel is in a terrible area with rave parties next door so impossible to sleep. Neighbourhood walls covered with graffiti which is very unattractive. Bedrooms were small and beds very uncomfortable. AC didn’t work. This is definitely NOT a 4 star hotel…1 star in my view. Very disappointed by our experience.

Very enjoyable

The breakfast was delicious… plenty of fresh fruit, pastries, breads, yoghurts and cereals from the buffet and a variety of choices from the a la Carte menu too. The lady who served us was lovely.

Nothing to dislike really. A great little hotel for a 2 night stop in Bologna. A very vibrant city with lots of students and visitors as well as locals.

Great location by the University, easy walk to historical sites, with lots of restaurants nearby. Hotel was spotless. Breakfast very good. Staff was exceptionally helpful and nice.

First visit to Bologna made very enjoyable by staying at the "Rossini".

Charming hotel, a small room but beautifully decorated and well appointed. Very friendly and helpful staff, really great breakfast with terrific choice of hot and cold dishes. Parking is not close and a little expensive. Highly recommended 👌

Nice hotel, good location if solely in Bologna, parking less than ideal, all staff, but 1, very nice

The hotel’s facilities were well maintained and clean. The room was spacious, and the bed reasonably comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was very nice and the staff pleasant. The area has a vibrant night life, and a convenient walk to nearly all downtown Bologna.

The location of was convenient for walking around Bologna; however, we drove into town, and the hotel does not have parking. Getting to the hotel to unload our bags was a harrowing experience as a relatively new driver in Europe. We personally enjoyed the walk through Bologna, but having a 10 minute walk to and from the nearest parking spot is something to consider. To complicate the issue, there was a single staff member who was a bit rude, and not very interested in being helpful. That said the rest of the staff were lovely.

Out staying here was amazing. The staff was really friendly and helpful, always with a big smile on their face. Excellent atmosphere and aesthetic. The distance from the centre was easy to cover on foot. Clean and well organised room. Breakfast was tasty and plenty of options to choose from. I would definitely come back and surely recommend it to any friends who may want to visit. It is a value for money option.

Superb

The staff was extremely friendly and so kind. They went above and beyond to accomodate our breakfast requests. We loved the homelike feeling of this boutique hotel. They really made us feel welcome and left a little welcome gift in our room the first night (as well as chocolates the second night). They were flexible with the room cleaning (sometimes we got a late start to our day). Their recommendations for restaurants in the area that could accommodate our dietary needs were amazing. I loved how they were so patient with me as I endeavored to practice my Italian while corresponding with them. I would totally recommend this place to anyone visiting Bologna and would stay here again!

The ONLY thing I could say (and to be honest, it wasn't a deal breaker at all) was the street where the hotel was located is a bit sketchy. It's a bit off the beaten path, and we witnessed some undesirable activity across the street from the hotel as we stepped out our first day there. We didn't see this again for the remainder of our stay.
