When we first arrived at 4pm, one hour after check-in, the room was not cleaned. I had to call the host and Vrbo to get them to send out a cleaner. The cleaning lady was so sweet and she did a great job, even though we didn't get into the room until 6pm. The host admitted that they overlooked there were 2 separate bookings for the one weekend, which would need to be cleaned in between. While in the room we noticed that it is significantly warmer in the room than the shared spaces. We turned the celing fan on and it was not working. We were only in the room for an hour before we made the decision to just find other accomodations. After contacting the host and Vrbo they both claim a refund for these issues is the others responsibility. The house itself is amazing and well kept, but being instructed to find a fix for the fan and having the host insist that check in was at 4pm and not 3pm was just telling of how they are running this property.

Perfect place to stay for our visit to check out SFA! We were able to take a short walk into town for dinner & shopping. SFA was a quick drive away. The check in was simple & easy thanks to the detailed information given beforehand. The historic home was charming, room was spacious & clean. Our friendly hostess made sure we were able to get checked in and offered any further assistance we might have needed during our stay.

The town is adorable and the house is located perfectly to be off of main street but close enough to walk everywhere. The yard is well kept and the house is very cute. Would stay again.

This property was advertised as a private house where you will have the whole place as yourself. Imagine my surprise when i get there and realized it had shared spaces. I would not have booked if I had known that and felt uncomfortable so we didn't spend the night.
The house itself was beautiful and very clean.
