Great location

The location was great - in the heart of the Pride parade. The accommodation was clean and tidy.

The room was a basement room, which we didn't know when booking. There was initially no shampoo or conditioner in the room, which had been reflected on the booking. Given we were in the basement room, I don't think it was worth the price - though, given it was Pride weekend, the price was probably inflated compared to standard pricing.

Great find. I will be returning.

Very central location. Squeaky clean bedroom and shower room. Comfortable bed. And immaculate bedding. We booked a small double room and normally when something is described as small, expect just that! however, I was pleasantly surprised at the size. Freely able to walk around the bed. Had every comfort needed for a short city break. It was also nice to have natural ventilation from the window.

Everything was perfect.

Bien situé et abordable, mais quelques désagréments

Très bon emplacement, nous avons tout fait à pieds. La chambre était au sous-sol mais néanmoins lumineuse le matin. Propre et bien décoré. Personnel discret mais très à l'écoute. Présence du petit frigo qui peut être utile.

Douche horrible, passe du bouillant au glacé sans arrêt et vraiment aucune pression, ce qui allonge considérablement le temps pour réussir à mouiller les cheveux et se rincer. Honnêtement, la pire douche de ma vie !! Lavabo trop petit et peu pratique (impossible de remplir une gourde ou la bouilloire, il faut utiliser un verre à remplir plusieurs fois pour transvaser). Il y avait des travaux dans la chambre au-dessus, ou des voyageurs extrêmement bruyants qui déplaçaient brutalement les meubles tout le temps et utilisaient une perceuse ou quelque chose comme ça, y compris à des horaires nocturnes. La nuit n'était donc pas reposante. La taille du lit annoncée ne correspondait pas à la réalité : les palettes dépassaient, mais le matelas n'était pas grand en fait. Un peu trompeur donc. La bouilloire avait une prise cramée, nous n'avons donc pas pu l'utiliser le premier jour. Nous l'avons signalé à la réception et elle a été changée dans la journée.

Only would return due to location, is definitely overpriced

Location was great, friendly staff and pretty clean.

Bedroom window was broken on arrival, was not informed beforehand. Pipe underneath window sounds like a constant waterfall. Room didn’t look like the photos, was expecting something a bit bigger and decorated. The shower wasn’t great, barely any pressure. Shower also constantly drips. The bed was very uncomfortable, it sinks in the middle. Bed was also on wheels on a hard floor, so as soon as you sit on it, you fly sideways.

Fine, especially for the price.

Really well situated, functional and pleasant. Perfectly fine, given the price. Nothing exceptional. Would have liked to make use of the podcast room, but not this time.

The room was uncomfortably hot. The floors were quite loud, especially from above and you could hear people talking in them. The bed was obviously well used memory foam as there was a big dent from all the previous occupants. The chair was broken, which took two days to fix.

A very pleasant experience indeed!!

Location of hotel was perfect and a short walk from bars, restaurants and Brighton Pier. The rooms were nicely decorated and very clean - cannot fault this. Checking in is simple with a key code given to you before you arrive. An excellent place to stay. Would have no hesitation in booking this again.

Whole stay was enjoyable, my only negative comment was the mattress (room 9) could do with upgrading. It was a bit uncomfortable. Probably OK for a one night stay but I was there for three nights and my back ached after the 3rd night. Other than that the hotel and rooms are excellent. This would not put me off booking again.

Poor value for money

Clean room. Good location.

Room was damaged and in need of TLC. Curtain holder dangerously loose on the wall, bathroom sink chipped and cracked, bathroom door handle and lock rose missing both sides, finish to the bathroom floor edges was shockingly bad (vinyl lifting and gap beneath threshold to stub your toe if you're not careful), fixings left in walls from previous showers and TV brackets, pigeons nesting outside the window we're very noisy, and the overall building was extremely hot even with the available fan.

Definitely would stay here again.

For a hotel in Brighton this was a great experience. Easy access with codes, great explanation how to get in and the rooms had enough space. I would definitely stay here again.

You could hear the people outside.

Great location and had everything I needed for a few days rest.

A fridge is always useful especially when you need to buy alternative milk.

A little noisy late at night from next room but thats Brighton, so it’s expected.

Strategic location, near the beach and only 13 minutes from the streets of North Laine. The room is close to many services as cafes, shops, pharmacy and supermarkets. Really clean room. I’ll come back here!

it was not a real problem, but the only "negative" thing is that you hear the noises of the other tenants when they enter and leave the house (closing the door) maybe because the room was on the ground floor. But we slept well!

Niedliches Appartmenthaus in Strandnähe

Sehr freundliches und sehr hilfsbereites Personal an der (telefonischen) Rezeption. Laura hat sogar nach ihrem Feierabend (leider erfolglos) versucht, das WLAN wieder zu reaktivieren! Frisch renovierte und saubere Zimmer. Stylische Zimmereinrichtung. Sehr bequemes Futon-Bett (ich habe wie ein Baby geschlafen). Schöne Lage nah am Meer und doch nah zur City.

Leider hat das W-LAN nicht funktioniert. Dies hatte dann auch einen Domino-Effekt auf den Fernsehempfang. Das angeschlossene Satellitenkabel war scheinbar nur eine Attrappe :-) und man vertraut ganz auf die Smart-TV-Funktion über das WLAN. Doof nur, wenn das WLAN nicht funktioniert...

Great location, easy check in process

The floor of the whole building slopes, which means the bed is uneven. The duvet was not big enough for the bed, the toilet seat was not secure, the shower dripped constantly and the water pressure was really poor, the shower was little more than a trickle.

- Easy to check in through the codes given. - Tea/drinks station has good selection. - Good amenities - Clean and tidy

- Radiators need bleeding as they are making very loud noises (air is trapped) - Walls are thin, can hear other guests. - They provide you with ear plugs, which if they hadn't, I wouldn't have slept well. - TV speakers are inconsistent - sound is off (loud/quiet)

A window in the room. The door that leads out of the room to the street was left wide open when I arrived which made me uncomfortable.

It was close to where we wanted to be, the staff were also helpful and friendly

I didn't know we were going to be on a basement floor, which made it feel claustrophobic. We also experienced loose wall sockets and a leak from the light fitting, which made it very unsafe.

I tried entering the code to the front door of the property and noticed it was open. Luckily my personal door closed properly - but I didn't feel very secure. The building is very narrow so unfortunately I could hear other guests opening & closing their doors as well as people taking showers/using their sinks. Not the end of the world, but it did wake me a few times. Most frustratingly only 1/6 plug sockets worked in my room. 2 were hanging off of the wall... The bed was very creaky and sadly I wasn't left a towel meaning I couldn't shower. Overall, it was fine for one night but I wouldn't recommend.
