Tolles Erlebnis in Heraklion

Host did take serious safety problems not well and ignored inquiries

When we arrived at the apartment there were huge amounts of water drippling down the ceiling to the stairwell and we tripped due to the slipperiness of the marble staircase. Inside the room everything was fine BUT on the balcony there was a large stream of water from above, obviously a broken pipe which flooded the balcony increasingly. We contacted the host because we didn't feel safe to stay there during the night due to water through the ceilings and electricity etc, It was a hard damage situation. The first response was "there is no plumber abailable today". It really went downhill when we infirmed the host that we didn't feel safe and want to move to another apartment and to get a refund. Suddenly there was just NO response anymore after responding to other inquiries within minutes. As really beautiful the apartment is I must say the hosts are not handling serious problems and concerns well especially about safety. Thats not what a host should be.

Vue magnifique. Douche froide.

Check out tôt. Impossibilité de laisser ses bagages après le check out. La rue est inaccessible en voiture. Il faut donc transporter les bagages à pied. 15 minutes dans des rues pentues.

Ein Penthouse Apartment ganz oben auf dem Gebäude mit einer sehr großen Terrasse, auf der man über ganz Heraklion schauen konnte. Atemberaubend. Das Apartment war gut eingerichtet, es hat an nichts gefehlt. Die Lage war sehr sehr gut. Mitten im Center, aber durch die Höhe des Apartment, war es trotzdem ruhig in der Nacht. Wenn dieses Apartment frei ist, ist das wohl der optimale Aufenthalt. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr gut über Whatsapp zu erreichen. Anrufen wäre auch möglich. Schlüsselübergabe ohne jegliche Probleme.

Das WIFI war leider sehr langsam...

Hair everywhere, nightmare

Beautiful view and perfect location.

Filthy. I didn't mind that the building was old, it's normal in Europe. But as soon as I entered the house I was disappointed because the house was so filthy. Hair on the floor, dust on the table, garbage on the balcony, very old and dirty bathroom. But the worst part was the bed. I found hair everywhere on my bed, even under a pillow. I had the feeling that they didn't even change the sheets after the previous guest. I was so relieved leaving this place. (I used over night ferry arriving to Crete, i slept in the lounge of a ferry and I was happier there. ) The entrance door was never closed, and the building seemed pretty vacant, anyone could come into your floor.

A good location but a bathroom upgrade would make it nicer.

Location was excellent and there’s a lift to the 5th floor, the climb one floor to our room on the 6th. Balconies on both sides with fabulous views of Heraklion. Bed comfy with nice linen.

The bathroom needs renovating. I sent photos and informed the owners at the end of July 2023. Part of the balcony railing collapsed which I saw happen while sitting inside. All the railings need to be checked for rust and deterioration. The ‘hob’ for any cooking you might want to do, was rusted. Trying to use the front door key was difficult and took a few minutes each time to jiggle and turn to make it work.

Generally speaking, staying here is quite nice

The location is quite good, really love it

The bathroom is not that clean, but it is ok. Because the location is quite good. But I Hope next time landlord or the hotel company at least have some normal supermarket brand handwas, shampoo and shower gel there, cause it is not that expensive.

Practical and cozy

The apartment is very practical and cozy, it is lovely to have a terrace and also a balcony on the other side so you have two views of the city. The bed and pillows were very very comfortable! In general the apartment has everything you need and the location is excellent, close to everything in the town center.

The terrace has two chairs that are very old and falling apart so it was hard to enjoy the terrace without proper chairs to sit on. The bathroom could use a bit of maintenance: the shower head and the toilet seat could be replaced by new ones.

Decent, good location.

The central location, the view from the balcony, easy check in/out.

The shower was very tiny and not suitable for tall people. The room is quite hot so to keep it cool the windows must be open and the city is loud almost every night, all night. We also found the pillows quite hard. Overall it was an okay experience, quite difficult to sleep but okay for short stays.

It's great place if you are up to Heraklion night life or need a good place near sea port to stay.

Apartment has very good location. Restaurants was just around the corner. Apartment also has nice terrace in one side and balcony on the other.

The bathroom would require cosmetic repairs. The shower curtain rod should be repaired.

It was great until it wasn’t.

Location is central, easy to find, views are good. Yons of restaurants, cafes, bars nearby. Remote check-in was easy and smooth. Apartment is a bit small but fit our (a couple) 1 night need well. Host was accommodating and friendly over message board.

We stayed there on a Saturday night and were unpleasantly surprised to hear loud bass music from a semi nearby night club until 6:00 AM. It was unfortunate as we got no sleep. This is no fault of the host’s or property. However, we would not stay anywhere near there again. If you are going to partake in the late night party scene this place is perfect for you. The only other issue was the hot water did not seem to work. We followed the host’s directions to try to get it running with no success. The shower is also very small.

Fantastic Central Apartment

Great apartment for a short stay in Heraklion, 1 minute from the buzzing lions square. The balconies are amazing and it was great to have a kitchen to cook a couple of meals. The bed was really comfy as well!

Grrrrreat!

Excellemt, value for money stay in the heart of Heraklion! There is even great view of the sea and the mountains from the balcony and the terrace with nice surrounding. The house has been reenovated,the furniture and the mattress are new and super nice! The a/c works greatly! I was really happy in there, it felt like home! The self-check-in is very easy and the owner very polite. I will surely stay again! Thank you very much!
