Fabulous accommodation, clean and comfortable. Lovely staff. Nice little touches like milk in the fridge and shower gels etc
Taxis wouldn't come out to us and this was a problem as we had a wedding in St Giles house. However, I felt that this was a good base to visit Poole, Bournemouth and Wimborne Minster. We had a very relaxing time.

Claire the proprietor couldn't have been lovelier or more helpful. She has the place running to a very high standard.
We stayed in the Lodge which was set back in the woods with the most wonderful view of local fields. It is connected to the main space by an enchanting boardwalk which magically lights up as you step onto it at night! The accommodation is very clean and cosy. A great place to bring your family/children for a fun weekend away in the summer.
There was no broadband or wifi connection out in the lovely, secluded Lodge. This would have been fine (and quite nice if you wanted a break!) but as we were there for work, we had to sit by the pool to pick up a connection.

It was very clean, the bed was comfortable, toiletries provided were good and location was quiet. The swallows nesting in the roof apex outside and the beautiful looking cows in a field opposite made it special too.
The only thing we really didn’t like was the bathroom light. It’s on a sensor and comes on every time you go near the bathroom door (which is close to the bed, so a lot) and turns off when it times out, usually when you’re in the shower, plunging you into darkness. Can’t patrons be trusted with a simple light switch?

We stayed in the apartments and the beds were very comfortable. The living area was very cosy and the kitchen facilities were amazing.
Many people walking by looking in the apartment. Had to close all the curtains for privacy

The studio is very private and well equipped. Beautiful location
The automatic bathroom lights! They would turn on in the middle of the night if the door is left open

The loft flat in the barn is amazing; the perfect post-party crash pad! Heads up that because of the septic system, they prefer if you use their own biodegradable products; and because it’s in the countryside, it’s best to bring your own food (no Starbucks around the corner!). But this also made it really picturesque – a secluded flat with a self-contained key, away from other campers but overlooking a biking path and a large field cattle graze on. We visited because we had a wedding at St. Giles’ House. We are Canadian, with no car—so travel became trickier for us. The staff at Rivendell House—Clare particularly—helped us so much finding local taxis. Her check-in instructions were clear, and she was available regularly for questions about the property. I would definitely recommend booking this loft if you’re looking for a nice place to stay whilst visiting the countryside!

Excellent venue, well maintained, great standards and host
May be a hot tub or barbeque at the studio barn next door or and outside area decked for sun gazing

Great weekend stay with friends at Rivendell Park. The house was amazing, spacious, had everything we needed. Clare was so helpful and friendly. Would definitely book again.

Well I must say this place is fantastic, perfect location, very scenic. We stayed in the mobile home, which was like home from home, perfect place to relax with all the essentials. Very quiet and wonderful setting. Highly recommend!

Location was fine but I'm assuming that the lack of staff was down to the time of year?
