Great place & location, helpful host

Very clean Amazing location Very well equipped flat (all amenities, washing machine, detergent, basic kitchen items, bed side reading lamps, bed side sockets) Very helpful and accomodating host (they even helped us with finding out buses, awesome restaurant recommendations)

All good, nothing to dislike :) Bathroom is basic but very clean so not a problem to me

Proce and expectations was matched

First of all owner was very grateful and he left for us fruit and water for us. It was very thoughtful because it was very hot. Also he recommended nice restaurants around apartments. In apartments we had everything what we need, even flight weights and hat. Definitely recommend it

Great apartment in a central location

Hosts couldn't be more helpful, meeting me for check in past 11pm when my flight was delayed. Apartment was clean, a good size for me as one person but would have been good for a couple as well, and in a perfect location for everything.

As the location was fantastic, it also meant that it could be noisy into the evening as the street is a thoroughfare. Hello to the girl with PA system singing karaoke across the road :) The construction next door was early and noisy (I think this will be completed soon!). Effi got in touch with them after I mentioned it and I appreciated her efforts to get them to not start so early!

Superb

The appartement was easy to find. We checked in at 2 pm., contactless. The owner was very forthcoming and answered all questions. The appartement was well equipped and spacious. The bedroom part with nice antiques wooden furniture, good sleep. Since it is in the center and walking distance to places if interest we would always come back.

An easy, comfortable stay in Central Heraklion

A lovely apartment. Perfect for two. Great care has been taken to make the place both comfortable & functional. Central Heraklion but within walking distance from the port. The host was more than helpful, arranging an early entry from a 6.30 ferry arrival from Pireaus. Very much appreciated. We hope to return before too long.

A fairy tale

Excellent location - all kinds of shops, historical sights, port, bus station in close distance. Airport bus stop a few minutes away. It has everything you need for a long stay.

An attractive apartment in a very busy city location

This is a a really lovely apartment with a lovely host but it is imperative it is understood that it is above a shop on a very busy pedestrianised shopping street in the heart of the city. It is not possible to stop a car near to the entrance and finding parking is not straightforward. Make sure that you are happy with city noise.

Arriving in the evening with nowhere to stop and unload or park was very stressful. We were very grateful to our host for coming out especially and watching the car which we parked where it should not have been for 10 minutes whilst we unloaded.

there was quite a bit of noise from construction in, but the hosts did attempt to deal with that, and it wasn’t really their fault.

the location is absolutely wonderful, in the middle of everything, shops, fountain, restaurants, bars. The apartment had everything you need, from dishwasher to nespresso, washing machine.......

we found the place difficult to find, better to call ahead, so they can meet you on the street. very friendly hosts

Exceptional

Superb location, host and comfort. The accommodation location is at the centre of shopping, restaurant and coffee houses. Minutes away from the famous museum. Local Bus No. 2 takes you to the Knossos Palace (20 mins), return bus No.20 back to city centre. Bus No. 1 to airport. (15 mins). Bus ticket each way is about $1.5 euro. We arrived in the evening, host came to pick us up from airport. Apartment is spotless, located on a pedestrian only shopping street, about 5 min walk from square. We stayed 4 nights in late October.

On weekends, some street noise from below.

Super friendly and cozy

Loved the Host. He was super friendly and had nice tips. Apartment is in the city center and close to everything. We were also able to leave our luggage in the apartment until we left in the afternoon! I can 100% recommend this apartment.

great stay in the heart of Heraklion

A great apartment! Everything was clean and well equipped. There is a coffee machine with capsules, water and ice in the fridge, soap in the shower and all the kitchen utensiles you would need for a longer stay, even a washing machine... Its only one room, but the bed can be separated by light blocking curtains, very smart. The host was super friendly and welcoming. I forgot to tell her our arrival time, so no one was there when we arrived, but I called her and she came within 5 minutes with the keys... A great stay.

there could have been more coffee capsules, but Im sure we could have asked for that...

The apartment looks exactly like in the pictures. It s situated in the heart of the city and very close to the bus station that comes and goes to the airport. Effi was super nice, she helped me with all the informations I need it.

Beautiful apartment in the heart of the city

Efi welcomed us, she arrived immediately even though we called her last minute. The apartment is in the old town in a really convenient location close to the archaeological museum. The place is decorated with great taste. It is clean and fully equiped with anything you could need and even more.

Totally central in the pedestrian zone. Step outside and your in the shopping area.

A few more cooking utensils. Warning: the Taxi can not drop you at the door but about 150m away as the street is a pedestrian area.

The owner was very nice. Very cooperative and available at all times. She answered all the questions I had and very flexible. She even booked a cab for us. The location of the studio is also perfect. Highly recommended

Maybe the mattress but that could be interpretable and based on experiences. Nevertheless the bed was good. Quite comfortable.

A perfect experience!

Everything and more! Host: Effi has been very responsive through communications before and after check-in. She is amicable, kind and understanding. She went out of her way to pick me up from the bus station and helped me book a taxi for departure. She also allowed me to check out late due to a late evening ferry. Apartment: The apartment is really well equipped. It's got everything I needed for a spacious modern studio and made me feel at home. While some other apartments at the same price level offer just a kitchenette, this one has a decent kitchen. I was very happy to be able to get my clothes washed and dried before heading for the next destination. The shower is hot and strong. The bed was very comfortable. It's winter and I just used the electrical heater to keep the room warm. No air conditioner needed. And of course, it's clean! Location: Unbeatable! It's on a pedestrian street right downtown, with plenty of shopping opportunities just downstairs. A lovely bazaar is just steps away, and there are many street food, restaurants, traditional bakeries, cafes and gelato places! A supermarket is less than 10 min walk away. You can walk down directly to the seaside, the old Venetian port and the castle and along the way there are several other attractions of Heraklion old town. I took a bus to Knossos. The bus stop is about 6 min walk from the apartment and Effi kindly showed me where it was. Despite being on a pedestrian shopping street, I felt perfectly quiet, safe and private at the apartment. I wish I could have stayed for longer and will definitely choose Effi's apartment again!

Excellent apartment in Heraklion.

Really clean and spacious apartment right in the centre of Heraklion. Less than five minutes walk from airport bus stop. All main bars restaurants are within similar walking distance. Apartment has a well equipped kitchen etc. For self catering. Very reasonably priced and highly recommended.
