The apartment was cosy and nice, clean and well located with respect to the Heraklion city centre. The host made it easy to check-in/out the property thanks to a keybox located outside the building door.
The bedroom was quite small (as well as the bathroom), but the main issue was that the water drainage (and perhaps also a water pump?) of the apartment above can be heard very distinctly and loud from the bedroom, thus making it difficult for us to sleep (the people in the apartment above started running the water early mornings, around 7am).

The location is fantastic and the apartment was nice.
The bathroom is cramped, the bedroom in the summer may get too stuffy as there is no air conditioning nor a fan provided.

We really enjoyed the balcony with a view to the harbour and fisherman mural. The kitchen was well equipped. There was lots of room in the living room to spread out, although the bedroom was a little tight. Good shower and shampoo provided. It was quiet and location was great.
The stairs up to the apartment were narrow with no railing.

We can absolutely recommend staying here.
The owner is very friendly.
We liked that you can self check in.
It is a really lovely apartment, we stayed for about 1 week and felt very comfortable.
The city center is almost right around the corner.
The apartment is equipped with everything you could possibly need (like even an umbrella, some edibles, and detergent for the washing machine is provided, which is really thoughtful).
There is no parking, but you can park at the port (24/7) for 3€ per day (about 3 min walking distance).
In the bathroom were various cosmetic products provided, probably what previous renters left behind, but we personally think it is eco friendly and practical to not throw them out, someone else might be happy about having them.
Nothing to complain about.

Nice litle apartment, clean and silent. For me and my son all that we needed. Very easy to find, and easy place to explore new restaurants and other places.
Nothing.
