My family and I stayed one night at what was supposed to be five nights. We were cut short by Hurricane Debby. Unfortunately we were not refunded. We now know the importance of travel insurance and strongly recommend anyone vacationing with VRBO obtain it because they will refuse to work with you despite catastrophic flooding and weather.
The home itself was beautiful and very clean. We will no longer be vacationing through VRBO. As long time customers we are very disappointed with the customer service we received.

We loved the Rose Getaway. It was clean and comfortable. Centrally located, it made a fantastic place to relax after exploring Charleston. The rooftop patio was a great little place to unwind with a cold beverage at night. Tom was quick to respond to the very minor issue we had. All in all, the next time we travel to Charleston we will definitely try to see if we can book this home again.

What a charming, relaxing, and beautiful house! We stayed here with our two older, teenage children, and we all loved this house. It was very easy to check in, the house was super clean, the furnishings were lovely, and the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the serene, relaxing vibe this house has. It was a nice to play vintage records on the record player while we made breakfast and sipped coffee together in the mornings. We enjoyed the porches and the proximity to restaurants and shopping. We were also very happy they allowed our dogs to travel with us. This is a wonderful spot to stay, and we plan on returning!

We absolutely loved our stay at Rose' Getaway!! Everything was perfect! This was our first time visiting Charleston, and we will definitely be back! We will also be checking availability at Rose' Getaway for our next trip. The location, the cleanliness, the communication, and the list goes on.
To note: the beds were very comfy, and the house was very well stocked, including a blow dryer, straightener, kitchen supplies (trash bags, dish soap, laundry detergent, etc), as well as sound machines in each bedroom!
The view was amazing from the third story balcony (especially for the firework show :)

We had a wonderful week at Rose’ Getaway. The location was perfect for walking to King street and there were plenty of restaurants within walking distance also. The house itself was beautiful, very clean and the hosts were very responsive when needed. We would recommend this property to anyone visiting Charleston.

We had a wonderful stay at the Rose Getaway. The location was great and we could walk just about anywhere we needed to go. The place was very well appointed, comfortable and clean, and the kitchen was well stocked. And the rooftop deck was great! Would definitely consider staying here in the future.

Rose Gettaway was terrific. Walkable to top of King Street. Recently renovated with brand new kitchen and very high end bathrooms. Master is on third floor. Two bedrooms with shared bath on second floor. Tom and Hannah clearly care about their customers and have thought of everything including coffee in the morning for late arrivals and sound machines for those to used to a city. Perfect for family with 2-3 kids.

3 siblings and their spouses stayed for a long weekend. Loved the place- spacious, clean, and nicely decorated. We enjoyed the porches and rooftop desk immensely.

The home was in a great location with a short walk to King Street! The accommodations were very clean with comfortable bedding and all the amenities promised. Traffic noise due to location on a very busy street.
There is a musty smell in the home and I could still smell it in our clothes once we left and had to wash everything when we got home. But it wasn’t so unpleasant that it would prevent me from renting here again. The home is an older home which has been remodeled (excellent job remodeling) so it’s totally understandable. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

From booking to check in to check out, this place was great. We came for a bachelorette trip and it could not have been in a better location, size, and cleanliness. The home is gorgeous and the 3 decks gave everyone space to hang out. It’s a very comfortable home and the beds were very luxurious. We enjoyed the Charleston Roasters coffee that the owners left for us to drink.The location is a great place to be and there are some great places to eat nearby.

This home truly lives up to its description and photos. It was clean, well stocked, and tastefully decorated. The balconies and rooftop terrace are wonderful features. And communicating with the hosts was seamless.

Great, walkable location! Hosts were easy to work with. House was clean and well appointed. Only downside was the musty smell (heads up to fellow allergy sufferers/those sensitive to smells). Fortunately, we were out all day, so I only had to deal with it at night. Allergy meds helped me enough to get through our short stay.

We were more than pleased with everything about this property. It is a beautiful, extremely well maintained, attractive home in a wonderful location. It was sparkling clean and beautifully decorated. We used all of the wonderful porches and the rooftop deck to relax on when we wanted a break from our explorations of Charleston. Tom and Hannah were fabulous hosts. We had several questions while there and they were extremely responsive and also offered many wonderful suggestions for restaurants and activities.

Perfect Getaway!
Rose Getaway exceeded all of our expectations! The house was clean and stocked with all the essentials. The location was within walking distance to some of our favorite shops and restaurants. The rooftop deck was the perfect place to hang out and enjoy an evening drink. We will definitely be back!

Excellent property in great neighborhood
The house is as nice as it looks in the pictures. Clean & modern with a lot of light and a very comfortable feel. Two porches & a balcony cannot be beat. Some of Charleston's best restaurants are a 5-10 min walk (as well as good coffee, bars, a liquor store, convenience store, and other shopping). Most of the city is walkable from the house. Hosts responded to all emails within minutes. 4-stars for check-in, because cleaners were still at house 25 mins after check-in time, which I don't fault the hosts for.

Amazing house, perfect location for King Street activities
When we first walked in, the house was immediately impressive. The decorating modern and up-to-date, the kitchen clean and stylish. Each bathroom was well stocked with soft towels and plenty of paper, bedrooms were beautiful, and the beds were extremely comfortable. Slept 8 people just fine with the worlds best pullout couch bed downstairs. The record player was a lovely touch. The rooftop balcony seating area topped it off as a great place to connect with friends before heading to king street (10 minute walk!) for dinner, drinks, and events. We absolutely loved our stay. Key code on door was especially convenient for 8 guests, as people can operate on their own schedules. Finally, Tom & Hannah were so welcoming and easy to communicate with. It was the easiest 1-night stay I’ve ever had. Thank y’all so much!!
