The house is tucked into beautiful countryside, but is close enough to some really wonderful shops, restaurants, and attractions. There's also plenty to do around the house! The pool and yard are well-kept, and the house itself was big enough for the 5 of us and still felt homey and cozy. It's in the heart of wine country, which makes for lovely scenery. Even though we aren't avid wine drinkers, we found plenty of fun and adventure around Keuka Lake and the surrounding cities and towns. We were able to communicate easily with the owners with any questions we had. We had a lovely time!

This is the second time staying at this house and this time we actually slowed down and enjoyed everything the house has to offer. We are already talking about the next trip and can only hope that the weather is half as nice as it was for our stay this time. Dealing with the owner is effortless and enjoyable.

The house and grounds were immaculate. All the comforts of home were provided. Beds were very comfortable. The views were beautiful and we enjoyed watch a deer family that visited our yard.

My husband and I visited the cottage at the beginning of the off-season. There was beautiful foliage and the view of the lake was stunning, but we were late for the pool, so I can't review that or the kayaks. The home was decorated for fall with pumpkins and fall colors throughout, which was a thoughtful and adorable touch. We enjoyed the fire pit and there was wood right there for us to use as well as starter logs. Home furnishings are comfortable, which is a huge plus. We travel with our own linens/towels but the bed was made with nice quality sheets and comforter. The area is central to wineries, breweries, and distilleries and the owner left us a bottle of wine upon arrival, which was so thoughtful. There are so many games to play and the lawn was freshly mowed. Owners clearly take pride in putting their best host foot forward. Thank you for an enjoyable trip!

We had an amazing time! Julie was so responsive and the best host! The house and everything in it was incredibly clean, and the outside was too! We couldn’t get enough of the view and the pool too. It’s less than 10 minutes from Hammondsport and the boat launch, which is nice if you want to grab some pizza or have a day on the lake. We would highly recommend this location to anyone interested in staying near Keuka Lake, and there’s a good chance we’ll be back again next year!

We loved staying at this charming cottage! It was the perfect location for kids. Not too close to the water and walkable to Keuka Brewery! Julie was responsive and thought of everything (and more) that her guests might need.

Best place to stay on Keuka!
Thank you so much for such a wonderful home base. We arrived to the home and were overjoyed with the inside and outside of the home. My husband and I have been coming to Keuka Lake for years and decided to bring another couple with us, and rent a home. We picked the perfect house. The house was equipped with all the necessities one would need for the stay, long or short. The pool was clean and the deck was wonderful. The grill and grill set worked perfect for our night in, and the firepit (with starters and logs) was used nightly. The sun rose perfectly over the lake for backyard viewing. Although we did not use the kayaks during our stay, the life vest and paddles were ready to go. The attention to detail did not go unnoticed from a spotless house, to citronella candles, and a welcome bottle of wine. The amenities were abundant, and the location was perfectly placed. We loved the quietness of no neighbors, and the view of the lake. We loved the pool and the deck. We simply loved everything. Prior to the trip I was in close contact with the owner and she was nothing but kind, efficient, and professional. We are already looking forward to our return trip. Thank you for all your hard work and allowing us to visit your special place on Keuka Lake!!!!!

We are a family of four with 2 teens, ages 14 & 16. This property was pristine, the owner was so communicative, the area was so fun to explore. Nature all around! We enjoyed the fire pit and pool as well as just hanging out playing all the yard games provided. A bit of rain came in, but Julie had excellent ideas on adventures we could do. Highly recommend this property!

The house exceeded our expectations, it was very clean and private, surrounded by trees so you couldn’t see the main road. Great location, we explored many wineries within a few miles and nearby hiking. The hosts thought of everything, they were very detailed on instructions and where to find different things for the house. Will definitely be back!

We rented this house for a fishing trip and the pictures don't do this property justice. For starters communication with the owner was fantastic. Everything about this house was great and most conveniences are there so there's not much that you need to bring. We are definitely going to be back. 10 out of 10.

Myself and my boyfriend had the most amazing time here. The house is just spectacular with the views, coziness of the house and a bonus The Pool…(of which it rained most of the time so we’re unable to use but awesome that it is available in the summer) On a quirky note they have a full stocked pantry and a JUNK DRAWER which came in handy!!! And let’s talk about the hosts for a minute… they were outstanding! So easy to chat with and we’re on top of all questions we had. They are truly doing a wonderful job and would highly recommend this little hidden gem even if just on Hosts alone. I always tell people if you haven’t had the pleasure of visiting the Finger Lakes Region in Upstate NY you must put it on your bucket list. Keuka lake is my favorite however all of them are wonderful and loaded with so much to do… state parks, wineries, breweries, distilleries, amazing restaurants and all round wonderful people. You will not regrets this stay and I assure you; you will not want to leave. Thank you both for a wonderful stay and hope to see you this winter.

A charming cottage with all the amenities for a relaxing getaway. Clean, well maintained, with charming decor. Amazing views from yard and bedroom balcony. Quiet, relaxing nights at outdoor fire pit. Perfect location for couples or small family. Short drive to village, super close to Dr. Frank and other wineries . Exactly as pictured and described. We recently stayed here for a quick 3 night getaway. We have stayed in many vacation rentals over the years and I must say this house is top of the list. It is so well taken care of, with many thoughtful details. It was also incredibly clean! Julie, the owner, is very responsive and available for any questions and/or needs that may arise.
The location is great! Walkable to a nice brewery, and many top rated wineries are just a short drive. The sunrises were gorgeous! The pool was such a nice feature, which we definitely took advantage of. It was just what we needed, a nice relaxing few days away- and we would highly recommend staying here.

We decided to rent this location based on the proximity to lake activities as well as the amenities available on the property. Everyone loved the fire pit and the pool. The lake view was stunning, and the house was so so clean! Would definitely stay again. Was a beautiful cottage that helped make our trip extra special!

We were very comfortable at the Hammondsport house. There are many amenities that make the stay extra nice including the upper balcony and the outstanding view. The pool could have been better cared for but was not a huge factor in the enjoyment of our weekend with friends. We enjoyed the special touches of coffee, toiletries and wine and the beds were very comfortable!
