We had an amazing time staying at this home. It has a great location, close to Folly Beach and close to Charleston. Lots to do in the area. The host, Patrick was great and very attentive. He provides you with a digital check in log that has great recommendations for restaurants, golf and places to visit. All that we tried was good food, Swig & Swine BBQ was the best! We played golf at Patriots Point. Very challenging course, but lots of Fun!! We look forward to coming back and staying at this home again. Thank you!!

This property is exactly as pictured! It is beautiful and we felt safe and at home. Communication with Patrick was excellent, our small concern was met and in a very timely manner. This cottage is very clean and well maintained its has everything that you need to make your stay comfortable and convenient. We pack a few things that we did not need so just pack your clothing and other things. No need to bring any kitchen utensils they have it all. The host also have included lots of boards games and a Nintendo switch. This cottage is 10 minutes from Folly Beach and its an easy drive to get there and very close by to Walmart and other grocery chains. The USS Yorktown at Patriots Point is a short drive away and a must do self guided tour. If you are looking at this Vrbo rental you will not be disappointed it is very clean and comfortable and the host are great I higly recommend with 10 stars out of 10.

The property was convenient to everything. Lovely home with everything we needed. Clean. Safe. Even though it is behind the main house, it was private and we always felt like we were in a very private setting. Nothing much to check out. Host was easy to contact and quick to respond. Guidebook was awesome with instructions for home and local information.just a wonderful stay.

Everything about this property was fabulous! The location, the cottage, and the host were all exactly what we were looking for. This location is best for someone who has rented a car, as you are 15-20 min from Charleston, Folly Beach, and almost anywhere else you want to go. The cottage amenities were great (coffee, appliances, etc), the beds were ok, the cottage was very safe and comfortable, the checkin-checkout book was detailed and easy, and Patrick was incredibly responsive to any of our needs.
I recommend this VRBO to anyone, and I definitely recommend visiting Charleston! My mom and I had a fabulous place to stay and the best time visiting together!!

Perfect location for a week of exploring Charleston and the surrounding area. Cottage was great for our family. Very comfortable beds and very quiet location. Close to restaurants and grocery stores for eating out and preparing food at the cottage. Hosts were incredible and were very responsive to all of our needs. The digital welcome guide was super helpful as well! I cannot recommend this place enough!

We loved this rental! The minute you unlock the front door with the digital lock programmed to your own phone number and see the inside, you discover a clean, beautiful cottage.
Not only does it look lovely, but it's extremely user-friendly.
The kitchen is the best equipped I've ever experienced in a vacation rental, down to a lemon squeezer, Nespresso machine with pods, and a regular coffee pot. There's also a spice carousel, high speed blender and whistling tea kettle.
There are two bedrooms with comfy beds, closet and drawer space, It has excellent heating and cooling plus washer and dryer.
It's located minutes from downtown and from Folly Beach.
The host even provides beach chairs, a beach umbrella, plenty of beach towels, a rolling cooler and a waterproof bluetooth speaker.
The only "imperfections" are that there's no dishwasher and the refrigerator is very small (but quite large enough for the two of us).
Did I mention there's a backyard with a grill, table and chairs? Also pamphlets about local attractions, a big book full of information and even an app with the same info.
The Roku is set up so you sign in on your own streaming services, input your checkout date and your login info is automatically removed on that date. Slick eh?
Furthermore, the host couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating! He was very responsive about questions and provided a couple of things we requested promptly.
If I could have given it more than 5 stars, I would have!

Home is located to all Charleston has to offer. Folly Beach is a quick drive along with another quick drive to downtown historic Charleston. On our next trip down, we will certainly be staying at Patrick's VRBO again.

I stayed here with my wife and toddler while attending my college reunion. Throughout the booking and check-in process, the host was highly communicative with information and answers to any questions I had. When we arrived, we appreciated that it was only a few minutes from stores and restaurants, but tucked out of view from the road for a little privacy. Very clean and neat, and not too many things I needed to worry about my 14 month old son grabbing. The little patio and backyard area provided a nice venue to sit and relax outside. Bedrooms and bathroom were all spotless and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!

My wife and I decided to come to Charleston to celebrate our 23rd anniversary and the Low Country Cottage was just what we needed. Quaint and nicely appointed…the location was great (only minutes from downtown) and Patrick was an excellent host! Would highly recommend the Low Country Cottage if you’re ever in Charleston!

This little place was the perfect size. Two bedroom, one place with plenty of space in every room! It’s in a very quiet neighborhood right outside of every place you would want to go. Which means a lot after being at the beaches or attractions all day, it was nice to come back to quiet place to just relax. It was very clean, with comfortable beds, nice linens and everything you need for your stay.
Patrick was extremely attentive from the beginning of booking til the day we left. We will not hesitate to recommend this place to friends & family and will definitely be coming back!

Patrick and his family were amazing hosts. The place was very clean and had everything you needed. It's located in a safe, quiet area. Patrick was quick to answer any questions we had. He even offered to stock the fridge with certain items prior to our arrival (for a small fee). Whenever we make it back to Charleston, we will be sure to try and stay here again. Perfect for a Weekend Getaway
I must say, I don't think I've ever stayed at a property with this level amenities! First of all, the Lowcountry Cottage is exactly as advertised in the pictures. Extremely clean and well put-together. Lovely decorated without being too cluttered or kitschy. Comfortable furniture.
But what was really impressive was how well-stocked and well-prepared this place is for guests. First of all, Patrick provides you with an app you can download to your phone that provides easy access to all the amenities house rules, check-out procedures, restaurant recommendations, etc. You also get to pick a custom code for the front door, so you don't have to worry about keeping up with a key while you're there.
The house comes with everything you need and then some, which is particularly great when you're flying in. You can even pay extra to have the house pre-stocked with a requested grocery list. Patrick was very communicative, and regularly checked in with me, so it was great knowing he'd be responsive if we ran into any issues.
Also, important to know that it's a pretty central location if you're looking to explore the beach areas as well downtown or North Charleston. We rented an SUV for Thurs-Sun and used less than a quarter tank of gas while we were there.
It was just my mom, my aunt, and me, so I'd say it's the perfect spot for a group of 4 or less, not the place for parties since it's a quiet neighborhood and very close to neighbors. I will definitely keep this place on my list for future visits to Charleston!

Location was convenient to downtown and the beach. Parking can be tricky especially when dark. Cottage was as expected. Beds and furniture was comfortable. No live TV i e. no sports. Overall a good affordable place to stay.

Very Nice Cozy Home. Would suggest a screened in area in the back yard or side so that guests can sit without being disturbed by mosquitos and bugs.

Patrick’s place was great! The home was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed and more! Check in and check out processes were very simple and smooth, and Patrick was always available if we needed anything. Great location in between downtown and folly beach. Would highly recommend for your stay!
