Fantastic 4 bedroom home full of South Palo Alto charm in cozy location close to Stanford, G00gle, Meta. Multiple wonderful restaurants and amenities in walking distance, including Fuki Sushi, the restaurant that catered Mark Zuckerberg's wedding reception. The home has a fenced front yard and a backyard with fruit trees (guests are welcome to pick !).

The kitchen should be amply equipped to comfortably cook and serve guests up to the maximum occupancy at the home. We provide an initial supply of coffee, tea, creamer, sugar, salt/pepper, cooking oil, dish soap, hand soap, dishwasher pods (if applicable), trash bags, sponges and paper towels.
BATHROOMS
There should be enough clean towel sets (bath & hand towels, wash cloths) for every guest up to the maximum occupancy at the home. We also provide an initial supply of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, and toilet paper. There should be at least one hair dryer in one of the bathrooms.
LAUNDRY
A washer and dryer are available for guest use, along with an initial supply of laundry detergent and liquid bleach.
PARKING
Parking is in the carport (2-3 cars) and on the street. There is no garage on this property.
HEATING/COOLING
This home is equipped with radiant heat, and a baseboard heater in the rear/largest bedroom. The home also has 2 window AC units; one in the living room, and one in one of the bedrooms. Box fans are provided to assist with cooling in the other bedrooms. (The fireplace is decorative only and is not available for guest use.)
ENTERTAINMENT
This home has hi-speed WiFi and an HD TV + HD basic cable channels.
WORKING WHILE YOU STAY?
The home is equipped with a dedicated workstation with working surface and chair, as well as WiFi.

Barbecue (BBQ) grill available upon request. Guests are responsible for cleaning grill before and after use, and for refilling propane tanks for their use if empty. We offer a clean and refuel service for $75 with 3 business days notice.

AGREEMENT ADDENDUM: The following serves as an addendum to the reservation and rental agreement entered into between the parties via the website of the company used to complete the reservation, as well as its affiliate sites.
BOOKING POLICIES
* Stays of 3 weeks or more require professional cleanings every 2 weeks. There is an additional charge per cleaning per home/unit, which will be collected after the reservation is confirmed as booked.
* Reservation cancellations: As per booking website. We do not offer refunds beyond those outlined in the cancellation policy on the booking website.
* Reservation changes: we take changes only at our discretion, and may charge a change fee.
* Host collects a refundable $750 security deposit, which is refunded (less damages/policy violations) within 14 days after departure.
HOUSE RULES + EXTRA CHARGES
* No smoking (anything). Violation of this rule will result in immediate eviction, forfeiture of rent, security deposit, and $250 fee for odor removal.
* No parties/events/gatherings. Only the people listed at the time of booking are allowed to be on the property without prior written permission. Reservation may not be sublet. Unauthorized parties/events/gatherings will result in immediate eviction, forfeiture of rent, security deposit, and extra charges for deep cleaning and damages.
* No pets unless explicitly indicated as allowed in the listing.
* Quiet hours are 10pm-8am. Noise complaints from neighbors at any hour will result in $300 charge per complaint, eviction after second complaint.
* No using fireplace(s) unless explicitly stated as OK in the Renter's Guide, or burning anything inside or outside the home, including candles and incense. Doing so will result in $150 charge, plus any damages caused.
* Do not move any of the furniture or décor. Extra charge of $250 applies for violation, plus any damages.
* Guests are responsible for following garbage protocol outlined in Renter's Guide. Not putting bins out for collection, putting waste in the incorrect bins resulting in the city not collecting, or leaving excess garbage in this home will result in $50 for each violation.
* Guests are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the home during their stay. Excess mess within the home beyond reasonable use will result in $75 charge per extra hour required to return the home to the condition it was in upon your arrival. (The pre-paid cleaning fee covers 3 hours of our cleaners' time.)
* Guests must return all keys, parking passes, garage remotes etc that were provided at the start of their stay, and will be charged for the cost of replacement if not returned. Cost varies depending upon the type of item, but ranges between $100 and $250.
* In the event personal belongings are left behind and our staff need to coordinate their return to you, a $40 processing fee will apply, plus any shipping costs.

Airy, sweet midcentury house. Could use some spit and polish plus a deep clean (Febreeze is NOT a substitute) but otherwise a fabulous place to stay. Fun kitchen/family room and glorious sunshine and lemon tree out front.

The bedrooms were good sized, the neighborhood was lovely, and all issues were resolved within a day. However, the TV didn’t work the first day, the lighting in the family room was poor, and the wood floor was the dirtiest I’ve ever walked on.

If arriving at night, it's a little difficult to see. You can only see the carport and initially we thought it belonged to another home, so we passed by it a few times. Just be aware that the house sits off the street a bit and the front door is at the end of the driveway hidden by a fence so it's really easy to miss. The property management company sent clear messages and was easy to work with. The property was a little older than it appeared it pictures, but it was spacious. The area surrounding the home had plenty of shopping, restaurants and grocery stores. We were there for Stanford and it was an easy straight drive of about 10 minutes away without having to travel on a highway

We are local to Palo Alto and needed a rental for a few days. It was in a very convenient location, quiet neighborhood, and the property managers were very responsive. The house was well stocked. While not a super new dwelling, it was very cozy and clean.

Great house for a large group visiting Stanford area. We had a small family reunion and everyone was able to sleep, cook and hang out happily and with plenty of room. Very quiet and safe neighborhood. Easy communications, arrival and departure with the host. They have a beautiful yard but it would be nice to have some outdoor furniture to enjoy it.

Bright comfortable home for family stay
We had a family stay here and really enjoyed our time. Lots of windows allow for great sunshine, kitchen is reasonably stocked with glassware and we cooked meals here easily. Nice fenced in yard that is good for kids with some fruit trees though could use a little LTCZ and some patio furniture to spruce things ups.
Beds are super comfy, but likely can only accommodate 7 people unless they are children and sleeping 2 to a bed.

Sunny and well equipped
We enjoyed our stay at Carolina Ln. The location was great for visiting family in Greenmeadows. There were lots of windows and light. The bedding was good and towels were plentiful. Lots of dinnerware and cookware. The washer and dryer are small capacity but work okay. We would stay again but paying for 4 bedrooms for only two of us might discourage us.

family retreat in Palo Alto
The property was perfect for our 5 day stay with family. It housed plenty of beds! and rooms. It is an older property so figuring out the heating was tricky night one, but once that was mastered it was smooth sailing. Property managers were quick enough to respond to our missing kitchen appliance drama. All the appliances (dishwasher, fridge, washer dryer) were all new. It had everything we needed in the bedrooms, sheets were soft and comfortable, mattresses were great. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.
