We loved staying here this week. The kitchen was amazingly furnished!! Dishwasher helped a ton too. We felt very welcome and really enjoyed the space. Plenty of space inside and the deck and patios are great specially with the hammock. The host were quick to respond when we asked for a hose. Overall this place was great. Parking was plentiful and most of the places to go were only a few minutes drive away. We also walked down to the public access marsh entrance easily. Overall, highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Morro Bay and thanks again for hosting us.

Wonderful place to stay!

This is such a delightful place! From the deck and its view, to the hammock on the porch, I was always able to find a spot to relax. A dozen eggs, blackberries, and sourdough loaf were left for us in the wonderfully equipped kitchen. If you like to cook, this is the place. We would definitely stay here again!

Lovely property in a beautiful garden setting near the southern end of Morro Bay. Well appointed cottage with thoughtful details and excellently supplied with everything the visitor might need for a fun and memorable stay. Very comfortable cottage but not handicap accessible due to steep stairs for entry.

Lovely cozy comfortable suite (with a few quirks), epic deck, great kitchen, and thoughtful hosts on site. I wish they managed the bookings themselves because the communication from the property managers Retreats (via VRBO) was frighteningly terrible, including no emailed info on check-in procedures and a 3 hour delay in response to texts the day of that I sent begging for door code (during a veritable monsoon when it wasn’t safe to be outside). I liked the location and vibe of the place but probably would not book again due to the communication problems.

It was our first time visiting Los Oso's and we loved it. The place was walking distance to the little downtown area. The little touches when we got there with the bread, fresh eggs, etc was so sweet. We would def go back.

Very nice property, dog friendly, lots of amenities, that were great! However, no TV. I was alone and would have liked being able to watch TV in the evening when I returned at night.

I attempted numerous times to request specific info AHEAD of time in regards to bringing our 2 dogs vs just 1 pet. No response. We felt forced to have our friends accommodate them at their campsite and pay more $. Also complaints from owners about the noise our 1st night stay. Definitely would’ve made a diff choice had we known the expectation to be very quiet and only 1 pet. It makes sense to invest in a separate unit to use for a VRBO, but if you are sensitive to noise, maybe a diff type of set-up? Sadly we won’t be back, we loved the place and charm… but not a good fit.

I have stayed in the Baywood area of Los Osos many times as I have two children at nearby Cal Poly. I like the area as it is a laid back beach town with all the amenities you need (good Ralph’s for groceries, a couple of great coffee shops (Ascendo), and some very good restaurants (Thai, sushi/teriyaki, burgers/shakes) along with walks along the bay, a dog friendly community and a short drive to Montana Del Oro- a beautiful state park on the coast with trails for hiking, running and mountain biking.
I chose this home for a recent 5 day stay and was very happy with my choice. An upper floor residence with the very quiet and helpful owners on site (when I lost the key), it is very clean, has a well stocked kitchen, comfortable main bed and pullout couch (my 23yo said it was the most comfortable pullout she has ever slept on), and a huge deck with views south to the hills around Montana Del Oro and a western partial view of the ocean and panoramic views for sunsets. It even has a side deck with a hammock that is fully shaded and protected for hot or windy days. A very good deal for the cost.

Spent 3 weeks at this rental. This is the 3rd time staying here and the longest time. The apartment is beautiful and very comfortable with many great amenities. ~ Los Osos/Baywood Park is a sweet town close to many points of interest.Morro Bay is very close and the State Park as well as Montana de Oro, Elfin Forest, many other walking trails, nature, clean air, great restaurants. ~ This rental has 2 private outdoor porches with furniture and a impressive little propane grill. ~ There is a huge kitchen to prepare food for longer stays.~ There is always a delicious loaf of local bread, organic half and half,Coffee, and fruit when we arrive.~ Such a welcoming touch! Susan and Jim,the owners, live down below in their home. The apartment is private with little interaction with the owners. They are helpful if we needed anything. For longer stays, they provide a cleaning service with a small fee for linens,as there is no washer or dryer in the unit.~ That said, there are several very clean and friendly laundromats close by.~ There are a few steps up to the front door of the unit, but also very sturdy hand railings if one has knee issues...etc.~ This rental offers so much to enjoy a great stay in on the gorgeous Central Coast. I plan to be back many times...Also,the deck has a great partial view of the the bay,and when not foggy...you can catch some sunset colors..Keep the windows open in the bedroom and listen to waves crash in the distance and here the gulls....the ever present drone of the foghorn...the smell of the sea air....you get the picture!

Best in Los Osos!
This is a terrific place to stay if you're exploring the Moro Bay Area -- but it's also tough to want to leave the apartment because it's so wonderfully outfitted! Fresh bread, local eggs, berries, and honey, and loads of different teas and spices and fixings -- the owners really made it a welcoming place to stay. To say nothing of the fast internet, comfy furniture, glorious bed, spacious layout, cook's kitchen, outdoor decks (x2!), . . . I could go on, but you get the point: This is the place to stay!

Everything as advertised
Very cozy and clean, great location, more than adequate kitchen for cooking full meals. Only minor negative is that owners living downstairs control the heat and it got pretty chilly upstairs. They had two electric heats but they didn't do much. We probably could have texted them but it wasn't that big a deal.

Great stay!
Wonderful experience at this location. The homeowners are great. My only issue was that the property management org did not provide the actual address, and we had to call to get that information.
