About this house rental

This updated 1920 Bungalow brick home is conveniently located within walking distance of the University of Utah, and a short 15 minutes from the airport, and 30 minutes from popular ski resorts in Park city and Cottonwood canyon. The Trax station at Rice-Eccles Stadium is one street east - only 2 minutes away so there is no need to rent a car, but there is off street parking for two regular sized vehicles if you do bring a car.

The VRBO Rental is for the main floor of this home. It is newly renovated and updated, with all brand new, tasteful furniture and has central air (cooling and heating), 2 bedrooms, 1 bathrooms, with 2 comfortable beds (one king, one queen), a 14 foot couch, 1 bath, full kitchen, access to washer&dryer, driveway parking, big screen HDTV with FuboTV, Hulu, Netflix, and Google Fiber WiFi.

Fantastic place to come watch a football game - you can hear the stadium announcer from the front porch and walk to the stadium gates in less than 5 minutes.

The Kitchen is fully stocked with pots and pans, toaster, oven, microwave, coffee maker, etc.

Convenient location on University street - come to drop off kids starting at the University, or for Salt Lake downtown conventions, or for Ski trips, or other activities at the University of Utah.

The property is close (2 minute walk) to the TRAX station at Rice Eccles Stadium. You may not even need a rental car if you time it right, you can get around town or to the airport easily!

Parking can be tricky in this area, street parking is by permit only but the south driveway is reserved for VRBO guests. It is a tight fit, but two regular sized cars can fit. Only one oversized vehicle will fit into the driveway space. A guest street parking permit can be requested at the time of booking but needs to be left at the home upon check out or there will be an additional fee ($100) to replace the guest pass.

This home is zoned a duplex, there is a basement apartment with permanent renters, they have a separate entrance. The laundry is a shared space and the basment renters do not have access to the upstairs VRBO. We ask that there is quiet time from 10pm to 8am. Being so close to the University of Utah, and in a college area, there may be some late night celebrating nearby in the neighborhood. This is noticeable especially after the Utes win a football game! :)

House was clean,comfortable, and kitchen well stocked. My wife and I were there for a concert so being located right next to the University made the experience that much better. House was exactly what we were looking for during our stay. Highly recommend!

Conveniently located to the University & Trax system. We were able to stay a week without a vehicle - get to grocery store, restaurants, and more. The house is very well stocked with kitchen supplies, basic seasoning, paper products and plenty of towels/ bedding etc. Super cozy beds with wonderful bedding. I was able to work all week in the sunny living area in the quiet neighborhood. It was great!

We loved our stay at this property. The easy walk to the stadium was amazing! The hosts were fast at responding with any questions I had and the beds were comfortable. I would love to stay at this property again in the future.

The house was clean, charming, and located right next to the University. The rail runs just one street over so getting downtown and to the airport were a breeze without a car. Comfortable beds and couch and everything you need in the kitchen!

great visit with my Ute son…was able to cook some of his favorites & spend time in a much better setting than a hotel. I requested a late check out due to flights & they were very responsive and accommodating.

The pics are accurate - this VRBO is quaint, quiet, updated, charming. Beds are super-comfortable. Kitchen is small but high functioning and it's all-new. Living room has HUGE sofa and large TV. Very comfortable. if you have reason to visit the Univ of Utah, you can't beat the location. The campus is around the corner, and you're walking distance to some very good restaurants (Mexican, Italian, Thai) and a bit farther away is a wonderful coffee shop that we enjoyed each morning. No real downsides to mention but a couple things to note - there is no backyard and the neighbors are super-close, so it's not the most private of properties. And the bathroom shower is over a bathtub with very high shower head - not great for shorties like me and my family :) but we're used to it! Overall, this is an EXCELLENT property, and we'd stay there again if we had reason to visit the university.

Clean, cute, and incredible location. Walk one block to stadium and public transit. We were so comfortable here—the beds were amazing and the kitchen was well stocked for our Thanksgiving cooking. Great TV!

My family really loved staying at this property. Our favorite rental in SLC so far. We were visiting our daughter at The U and this was the perfect place to stay and catch a game. The stadium is so close! Neighborhood was nice and the people on the street are friendly. The unit has been tastefully remodeled and the couch was actually comfortable to lounge on! If you are a frequent private rental user you know what I am saying. Can’t wait to stay here again!!

Thank you, Blake and Heidi for opening up your home to our family. We had a wonderful weekend, visiting my daughter, who attends the U. The location could not have been more perfect. It is a short walk to the stadium to enjoy a game and fun to be right in the thick of college life :-) we had no problems with noise despite a game weekend. We will definitely be back soon. The home is adorable!

We rented this lovely home for our daughter’s graduation from the U. It was the perfect place for the 4 of us. We have rented many homes over the 4 years my daughter attended the U snd this by far our favorite one. The house was clean, modern and bright with high-end furnishings. The kitchen was well-equipped, the beds were super comfy and there were plenty of towels. It really felt like a home and not just a short- term. rental property. The hosts were very responsive when road construction prevented us from parking in the driveway. We were able to walk to both graduation ceremonies in under 30 minutes - no car needed. The Trax stop is also just a block away. I would highly recommend this home to anyone wishing to stay near the U.

This house was precisely as listed. It was clean, comfortable, and very well-stocked. The giant couch was quite comfortable, the little nook in the kitchen was perfect for a few hours work, and it was only few blocks walk to some fun, local restaurants. The driveway is quite narrow, our Corolla just fit, but we are used to lots of driveway space, so your mileage may vary. I would stay here again.

This home is perfectly located near the Utah Football Stadium. The beds are extremely comfortable and the decor and items stocked in the house shows the landlord put effort into making this home not feel like a rental, but more like a well-appointed home. The appliances all work perfectly, the room sizes are more than large enough for 2-4 people (2 bedrooms). The few questions I had were answered promptly by the landlords as well which was wonderful. We will most definitely stay here again - it was a 5 star experience!

We were very comfortable and couldn't be happier with our choice of places to stay during our visit. The homes perfect location was within walking distance to the University and Stadium. The hosts were extremely attentive, the home was perfectly clean and details of home were exactly as described. Heidi and Blake have created the perfect haven for Salt Lake City travelers and visitors to the University of Utah. Their home is thoughtfully decorated with very comfortable beds and wonderful amenities, from the shampoo/ conditioner to a fully-stocked kitchen. Communication and entry was easy, and you couldn't find more hospitable owners. Our son got sick during our stay, and Heidi was kind enough to accommodate a late check-out. She also offered to answer questions about the U since our daughter is interested in attending. We hope to make this lovely house our home base for our return trips back to SLC. The proximity to campus, restaurants, and shops can't be beat. Thanks again for everything, Heidi and Blake! All the Best.

The time I stayed at the property was very nice. The furnishing were beautiful and the home was bright with many windows in the living room, ample seating and a very comfortable vibe. Quiet, though one night you could hear the tenant downstairs, playing a computer game, but the noise was only for that night and was quiet and stopped at a reasonable hour at night. The property has a great location by the university as well as easy access to sugar house and the mountains. I would certainly recommend staying at this property.

This property was cute and very comfortable. I could not find anything in Park City that was similar for a reasonable price for skiing. For the future, I will be staying in SLC instead of Park City. You can find a great place to stay for a fraction of the cost and this property was close to the mountain and close to great places to eat in SLC.
