Séjour reposant

Idéalement situé dans l’oasis après une journée de trek. Cuisine raffinée et petit déjeuné copieux avant de repartir pour des bonnes heures de marche. La piscine est un plus.

Le wifi ne fonctionne pas.

simple accommodation in a beautiful setting

Lovely to arrive in a green oasis after a hard day hiking. the pool is in an open area catching the last of the afternoon sun. our room had a large private bathroom which was a nice addition

The attention paid to customers was minimal and felt more like we were in a home stay. the room had some damp in it and the food was fairly basic

A nice place for one night :-)

The location was very nice, all the flora around was stunning and the pool was handy as well. I have to add the points to the owner because he gave us a room with private bathroom for the same price as a room with shared bathroom. :-) Thanks a lot again!

The dinner and breakfast was not very tasty, although the dinner was huuuge so I could`t finnish.

Good

The bed was probably one of the comfiest beds I've ever slept in and was really welcomed after a long day. The room was really nice and we were upgraded to a private bathroom. The pool area was really nice and kept clean too and had beautiful views.

The guy who greeted us when we arrived seemed really friendly but then he seemed to disappear and we felt very awkward and slightly uncomfortable here. The staff didn't seem too friendly when we asked for lunch and when we came down for dinner we felt uneasy asking for anything and no one came to us for some time. It overall made us not feel too welcome. There also isn't much choice available for food with just one dish available for lunch and dinner (with no vegetarian option for lunch). This is something to consider as there isn't anywhere else you can eat in the area.

Great place to stay in the oasis

Really nice place to stay in the oasis. The pool is great and refilled everyday so is clean. The rooms are nice and shower was hot. Food is also good.

Beautiful location Nice pool The person who helped us was friendly but he was mostly alone and helping 25 people is too much then.

Lunch and dinner were expensive. Especially since dinner was very small. Rooms were very noisy, you can talk with the people in the next room without raising your voice.

It's great to chill by the swimming after a hike. The fresh juices are delicious! The diner was good and in big quantities.

Excellent and relaxing location in the Oasis

Really cool location. The pool was amazing after a hot day of hiking. Rooms were comfortable and the shower was hot.

You had to pay for wifi, which seemed a bit like an unnecessary attempt at getting extra money out of you. Luckily the location is nice enough you can probably go without internet for a day.

Would try other places around...

Swimming pool was definetly the highlight of our stay. As we left very early, a decent breakfast was provided in a bag. Location was great since we were going to cabanaconde on the next day.

Lunch and dinner were not the best, compared to other places we stayed (in the same price range or lower). The little houses should be "really closed", so as to avoid all sorts of bugs and flys. The common area for eating was always full with flies, if you left your food unattended for 30s, it would have some flies on it...

Nice location, nice food and good outdoor area.

Bathroom was not clean, there was still hair from previous guest in the shower drain and it smelled funny. There are a lot of insects walking around the room which is normal as the place is in nature, but good to know for those that have problems with that. This was the most expensive place I have been in one month in Peru and it was not worth it.

Lovely pool side stay in the Sangalle oasis!

Super wonderful for the location! It’s rustic, but the location in the oasis can’t be beat! Come early afternoon to take advantage of the pool :) served a simple but hearty vegetarian meal for dinner and they have beers!!

Truly an Oasis with friendly staff

It truly looks like an Oasis with a very nice pool and surrounded by trees and plants. The owner is very friendly and helpful. He offered breakfast (pancakes) as early as 05:00. We had a room with a king sized bed (yes really), so we had an amazingly comfortable night.

The food at lunch and dinner was quite similar and quite basic, which is okay, taking into account that you are in such an amazing place.

Everything else. The proprietors are unfriendly, won't supply water, the rooms are terrible and full of bugs.

Good location for a night in the canyon

The structure is basic but you cannot expect much more in the middle of a canyon. Shower in the evening was hot and we had a big and warm bed very confortable

Very Accomodating during our stay. Shop around for food and drinks!

although staff couldn't find our booking, once we arrive we've also been upgraded and it was very nice to have a bigger room than expected with hot shower. it gets cold very quickly once the sun sets. They were also able to prepare a quick breakfast for us the following morning at 5am before staring our trek back to Cabanaconde! super nice :)

We were not able to get a key for our room. Staff seem a bit all over the place but overall we had a great stay for 1 night. food quite expensive and cheaper, tastier options around the oasis.

No warm showers. even in private room, we showered in the shared hoping to have warm water.
