Very nice house and beautiful views. Very clean and comfy furniture. Parking was a little tight and grass needed cut along with some landscaping touch-ups.

This cabin was perfect for a mother son weekend away of skiing at Appalachian Mountain.

This is a beautiful property in a beautiful location with a 4100ft elevation. Three bedrooms, one on each level with it's own bathroom, made a perfect setup for 3 adult couples. It was clean and bed linens were all clean and seemed new. The "tired" part of the property mentioned in reviews was some of the carpet is ready for replacement, porch furniture is needing attention, along with the kitchen.
Overall, I would recommend this cabin to those who don't mind a little wear in unit.

Overall had an amazing trip. Property was clean and located perfectly to town. Overall worth every penny

This property is a good place for location and outstanding views. Paved neighborhood an d very quiet. My only suggestion is there is not a vacuum cleaner. The yard was very high upon arrival, then it was mowed. It was impossible to not track grass in on your feet. My only way of getting debris up for 2 weeks was a broom and dust pan. Property is beginning to need a bit of refreshing. Paint goes a long way.

The views are gorgeous. Loved having the hot tub after a long day of hiking. Aspen view is close to Boone (10 minutes away and close to Blowing Rock (5 minutes away). It was easy to get around and jump on the Blue Ridge Parkway to get to some great hiking trails. The house was as advertised and was very clean. If you plan on cooking, keep in mind that there are no extras in the kitchen (no seasonings, no tin foil, no cooking spray or cooking oil). You will need to make sure you bring all of that. Having said all of that there are plenty of pots/pans and dishes. We were able to use the fire pit one night which was fun to hang around. All around a great experience and I would highly recommend Aspen View.

Great Location, Bare Essentials
The home is in a perfect location, right between Blowing Rock and Boone with exceptional sunrises and sunsets. Check In and Check Out was a breeze and communication with the property management was great.
However, the home is truly a rental property with little amenities beyond a typical motel. The sheets and bedding had tears and holes, the hot tub towels don't covered your body, and the kitchen was empty aside from dishes and pots and pans. The posting is 100% accurate that there is barely any pepper because it's true; there is none. We did email for extra linens and to have a light fixed, both of which were addressed quickly.

Beautiful views!
The home was great for our needs including skiing at App Ski. The views from the decks are amazing. The property was not as clean as we’re used to. There was a lot of dog hair on the floors and couches. The kitchen could use a refresh of all the pots/pans. Overall we enjoyed our stay and made the best of it!

Family Fall Trip
The view from the porch is tough to beat. The house is also located at the end of a street which created more space for the kids to play. Would stay again.

Great house for long Fall weekend for some hiking & fishing
House was as described and suited our family of 2 parents and 2 kids perfectly. Place had everything we needed for a long weekend (we didn't cook much.) Prior review mentioned the stained carpeting (looked like pet pee stain and/or maybe some coffee dribble)... that's still there but wasn't wet as they described. Other than that and a broken decorative plate, everything was in great shape, very comfortable, and cleaned well. We never got to use the hottub and firepit as it rained both nights; both added nice gathering spots for fairer nights. 2 maybe 3 cars tops would fit in driveway. And not sure I'd want to stay if roads were slick (lots of super steep and tight turns on very narrow streets), but that's me, I'm not well practiced on snowy/icy roads (plus don't have AWD which would be crucial.)
Good communication from property manager (altho you get some stuff in advance by email and other by text... would prefer everything on an email so can printout before leave (cell service and data did get iffy as we were driving in to Boone.)
And like the name... the views were magnificent. Perfect morning sunrise view, especially from upstairs loft which looked over the treetops. The deck on main floor was lovely to sit out on too, especially for morning coffee. Would not hesitate to stay at Aspen View again.

This home has an incredible view of the mountains. There were three couples in our group and we enjoyed the house very much. It is located in a lovely area, but the road leading to it is typically steep with curves and sharp turns. We knew from the pictures that the kitchen is small, but we managed by keeping the number of people to two at a time. The driveway is a tight fit with three SUV's, so if you will have more than 3 cars, this could be a problem. We had a few minor issues with the TV, dishwasher, and a light, but a team came within the hour and fixed everything. The beds and furniture were all very comfortable. This is a great rental for a family or several couples.

The only disappointment was the grass was extremely tall.

Great location but a lot of dog urine
Yep, the title of my review says it all. The house is in a great spot on App ski mountain. Less than 15 minutes to the Cone Manor, Price Forest, and Blowing Rock. Overall, the house was well appointed and exactly what we wanted....until...I noticed a stain that looked like urine. On both the upper and basement floors there were nurmous urine stains. I have a dog. We brought our dog. We paid an extra cleaning fee to bring our dog. It would seem that fee from a previous renter was not applied to cleaning. Overall, we had a great time but urine soaked carpet isnt great. We covered the urine spots with towels. The kids avoided it, but just a deal killer. If I could post pics here I would.

Great views of the Ski Mountain and surrounding area.
Good house for me and my wife and 4 kids. Had everything we needed. I am not sure I would class this 5 stars because I reserve that rating for the very best of the best and I don’t believe the age and finishing are anything but average. Nonetheless, it is a nicely laid out home. The hot tub and fire pit are nice features to enjoy.

Perfect house for our weekend getaway
The house was exactly as advertised and very clean; especially for a pet friendly home. We were very pleased with all of the amenities and the home’s close proximity to both Boone and Blowing Rock. Whether you plan to be out and about exploring the area or just looking for a great place to stay put, this house is perfect.

Beautiful Views, great hot tub, Plenty of space
We had 3 adults and 5 kids. The kids took over the lower level of the house. Plenty of room for everyone. Really close to the ski mountain. Everything worked. Views were outstanding. Really nice getaway.

Perfect Ski Week and Covid Getaway
My 3 kids (14, 14, 11) and I loved this rental! We were all working/schooling remotely, and this was the perfect change of scenery for a Sunday-Friday stay!! It was just the 4 of us, but the house could fit 6, maybe 8, comfortably. It was the perfect location for work and school during the day and skiing at App Ski Mountain at night. Only about 10 mins to the ski lodge, only 15 to Blowing Rock and the nearest grocery store. I loved that the roads around the house were not too hilly, and I was able to get in several good walks/runs during the week. It snowed several inches while we were there, but the roads were plowed in a timely manner so I felt comfortable getting down the mountain the next day. Only constructive feedback is that there is no TV on the main level of the house - in fairness, that was shown in the pictures, but still would have been nice to watch a movie on the main level (where all the togetherness happens) with the fireplace. Also, maybe I didn't look hard enough, but couldn't find any scissors. Would definitely rent again!
