Charming, clean, great location, easy parking, good communication with host. Historic building high ceilings, all new kitchen, cute little bathroom up 2 steps from the main floor. Be aware this apartment is up a lovely flight of stairs- the second floor.

We greatly enjoyed our temporary home away from home. It is nicely decorated and functionally updated. It is close to the Hopewell National Park, which was one of our destinations. Restaurants, shops, and coffee are all within walking distance. Parking is available on the property.
The owner quickly replied any time I needed to contact them.
We would definitely stay again if ever in the area again.

A very impressive apartment. Way better than any hotel. Large rooms, clean as a whistle, close to the theater and many pubs and restaurants. No driving required. Believe me, we'll find a reason to come back to stay here.

Lovely place. Clean. 2 steps up to bathroom so pay attention in the middle of the night.
VRBO messenger system to reach property was out so had to callVRBO to get security door code. Not property's fault but quite annoying

The location is perfect. So many great places to walk to around Chillicothe. We had a wonderful time at the Paints baseball games. Lovely place to stay and a great town to visit.

We loved this old building with a beautiful loft. It was pretty, comfortable with lovely touches throughout. Like all old buildings, there's that one door that creaks and doesn't close well (the bathroom). The small BR has a noisy bed. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and recommend it to others.

We enjoyed our 2 nights here very much. The loft is nicely decorated, comfortable, clean, and in a great location. Parking was easy, as was access to the loft via a door code. Cat was an excellent host. I would definitely stay here again.

The loft was very cozy and located in such a cute part of town, right outside was the Majestic theater and plenty of adorable shops and restaurants right down the street.

As a person completely unfamiliar with the Chillicothe (and coming from a larger/more diverse) area, Cat made the stay easy. Location is great - parking is easy and the street is pretty quiet for the most part. My stay was longer than the average time period, so I got the full experience of this place.
I would say the only thing that could make this place even better is possibly adding a washer/dryer for long term renters. Other than that - the place is tip top and CLEAN! Thanks again!

Everything you could ask for in a hotel with the privacy of a house. Walking distance to downtown shops, cafes and city park, surrounded by historic buildings. Centrally located, just a short drive to Adena, Great Seal Park, Hopewell Cultural Park. I grew up in the Chillicothe area, seeing the revitalization of downtown is amazing!
Loved this loft and will definitely book here again on my next trips when visiting home.

We loved our stay at 1840s Loft. It is just as it appears in the photos; very nicely decorated and very clean. There is a little (muffled) street noise at night, but that is to be expected, as the apartment is located downtown. The noise did not keep us awake. The host provides thoughtful extras in the bathroom and kitchen that made our stay even nicer. This was our first visit to Chillicothe and we enjoyed being situated so close to downtown shops. We were able to walk everywhere we went while in town.

I surprised my sister for her 30th birthday with a weekend getaway to Chillicothe, and this was the PERFECT place to stay. The loft is located within walking distance to many shops, restaurants, and a cute little coffee place. Cat's place was very clean and we had no issues during our stay. I originally booked the wrong dates and had to go through the process of changing my weekend. Vrbo was not accepting my new dates but Cat was extremely helpful through this process and even contacted customer service until the problem was resolved. We are making this a yearly trip and will continue to book this beautiful and cozy loft!

Great place just wish it had a washer and dryer!

Clean. Organized. Would not recommend for physically disabled however. Steps are a bit tight, but not too bad. The bathroom could be hard to navigate for some. If you aren't physically impaired then book it!

1840s loft
Nice location to much of downtown historic area. We live in the country, so a little concerned about staying in town with new noises. It was quiet, well maintained. Good communication from owner/ manager. No complaints

Excellent stay
My wife and I had a lovely time in this apartment. With a full kitchen and living room, it was like having a home away from home. Much nicer than a cramped motel room.

Location. Cleanliness.
My sister and I stayed here and loved it! The location is excellent. We walked to coffee shops, restaurants and for ice cream one evening. Even more important than location to me is cleanliness and this place was spotless. We felt right at home instantly. The communication with the owner was quick and she was so helpful. I highly recommend this place and would stay again if ever in the area. We visited the Adena Mansion and saw Tecumseh! the outdoor drama. Both were close and an easy drive.

Adorable and full of charm!
This was such a cool space! The location is perfect for exploring the neighborhood and for shopping. Sparkling clean and simply yet stylishly decorated. The living room space large and is great for lounging before bed (it is attached to the master bedroom which is nice for movies to sboozing situations). Every inch of the space is functional. Master bedroom bed is a little creaky, but the mattress is soft as a cloud. We are so happy with our decision to stay here!
