About this house rental

This relaxed atmosphere beach house is nestled in the quaint beachside section of Spanish Grant with only a short 3 minute walk to the private beach. The home is located on a cul-de-sac lot, giving it extra privacy. The ground level has a large built-in picnic table & charcoal grill for entertaining. With 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, & TV's in every room (for the rare moments you don't want to spend on the beach or exploring Galveston) you are set up for a relaxing vacation with family or friends.

We are available through text or email during your stay for your convenience.

Sandy Feet Retreat is located in a private neighborhood on Jamaica Beach. Our home is located at the end of a cul-de-sac and is a short walk to the private beach.

There is room for 4-5 cars in front of the house. You may park on the grass. You cannot park on the road. The neighborhood is small, so you will just be walking to the beach and then using your car to come and go as you please :)

****Please understand that this property is located on an island in a climate that has warm summers & humidity. Along with this weather we get lots of mosquitos, bugs and flying insects. In May there are also small winged termites in the area. While we wish that we could control these things, we simply cannot. We suggest bringing extra sunblock & bug spray...and don't plan on your hair looking great while down in the summer ;) Just enjoy the beach hair look. Thank you! ****
*We have a maximum occupancy for adults of 6. Each additional adult over 6 will require a $25/night fee.

*We are dog friendly. There is a one time fee of $100 for wear & tear and additional cleaning charges that come with pets. We allow a maximum of 2 dogs.

*While pets are allowed, we do not allow pets on the furniture or beds. There will be a $200 fine if you choose to ignore this.

Our first night was after a tropical storm in the gulf near Mexico which made the Galveston coast choppy and the waters higher than normal. The road to access the house was closed because of the high water (surprise!). We dared the water and drove on the beach anyway and got to the house which is sort of small and the beach was also very small in area BUT not many people. Host was very easy to communicate with and responsive. Kitchen had a lot of items left in it from previous renters. No outdoor shower, no hose (but I bought one and left it for others). Fence needed some repair (hammer and nails). It was nice they had some beach chairs, toys and wagon to use. In all the

First I want to give a shout out to Ashley for being such a helpful host. There were some things that were beyond her control that needed to be taken care of, and it got done in a very timely matter. The house was very nice. The kiddos (ages 2,10 and 12) absolutely loved the layout. All the beds were very comfortable so that’s also a big plus. The neighborhood is small so it was a very short walk to the beach which is perfect. We had a great time and will have great memories of this vacation. If I would need to give a recommendation to Ashley, it would be to have more outside seating. Besides that, this was perfect.

Beach life perfection! The last turn to get to the house takes you right next to the beach. The water is a few steps away from the house and the double deck balcony makes a perfect beach house experience. Ashley was extremely responsive and made sure we had all the information we needed before we ever arrived. The house is clean and accommodating. Very happy with the experience and great job by the host!

The home was perfect for our family and super comfortable! We had everything we needed and more. The home is also a short walk to the beach which we enjoyed. Everything we needed was at the house. The back yard is completely fenced in. The house was clean upon check in. It would be nice to have a rechargeable vacuum to run through the house every day. Ashley answered every question I had in a timely manner and seems like a very nice person. We will definitely stay there again!

We booked this cozy beach house for a family 4th of July getaway and were not disappointed. The house is well kept and comfortable. With easy access to the beach, a well-stocked kitchen and a fenced yard for the dogs, what's not to love? We had zero issues during the stay and would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here to celebrate our daughter's birthday. 3 of her friends joined us for a couple of nights. The house is cute and perfect for our group of 7. It's a very short walk to the beach. Everything went well with the house and checking in/out. We love the decor!

Overall, it was very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with most anything you need for cooking. Ashley was very nice and quick to address any questions. My dog loved having the fenced-in yard. Walk to the beach was a couple minutes. Beach was very clean. I would stay here again.

We had a wonderful long weekend with family at the beach. Beds were comfy, house clean and appreciated all the extra supplies: few trash bags under sink, extra roll of TP in each bathroom, dishwasher pods, and laundry pods. Many rentals do not supply any of these. Owner very friendly with good communication

The family has been spending a week or two in Galveston every summer for about 10 years and this stay was one of the best. The home is nicely located on the west end, is a 3 minute walk to the beach, and at the same time not too far west to make a quick run into town. The fenced back yard was perfect for our two dogs and the home was well equipped and very comfortable. Check in was easy and while we did not need to contact our host for anything, they were very responsive to any email sent as we approached our visit. They made it easy and enjoyable.

First off, Ashley is the best! She could not be nicer, prompt, and accommodating. The Sandy Feet home is extremely clean, versatile, etc. with every basic item thought about and available to make your time in Galveston memorable. You are a couple minutes just off the beach and there’s a perfect fenced in backyard for the furry friends. We had our family in town to celebrate the graduation of our Sea Aggie and even brought our dogs along. The house was perfect and the morning walks on the beach, fun times in the house, etc. made it a trip we will never forget!

We held an 18th birthday celebration for my daughter. The property was immaculate and the perfect place for this. Being able to bring our dogs was a plus. The beach was a short walk and could be seen from the upstairs balcony. I would recommend staying here.

We had three adults and five teenagers, and we had a wonderful time! The home was spacious and beautiful, just like the pictures, and it was just a 2 minute walk to the beach! All the ammenities were there, including coffee pods and creamers. The owner, Ashley, was excellent to work with. She answered all emails in about .2 seconds! AShley even gave me a few links to get discount tickets to Schlitterbahn, saved us a bunch of money! I would highly recommend staying here, and we will definitely be staying here again! Jennifer

We absolutely loved this rental. My fiancée and I stayed for the weekend, and had family come join us for a bbq on Saturday! There was plenty of room, lots of outdoor space, the kids loved the bunk bed room and the beach close by. It was a super easy checkin/out process, and I have absolutely zero complaints!! We will be back, for sure!!

We had a relaxing stay at this beach rental. Home is updated and was very clean on arrival. We fixed several meals while there and had everything we needed to prepare them. We enjoyed time on the deck watching the sun rise and caught several beautiful sunsets from the back yard. We loved having the fenced yard for our fur babies! Such a rarity at beach rentals but made the week so much easier. The beach is a quick walk away and we used the beach chairs/floats etc provided in the storage closet. The beach was very quiet and we were the only ones there a couple of times! All in all a great rental and we would definitely return.

We had a great time at this location. Private beach access was available at a very short walking distance. The house provided a wagon and another portable tote which was very helpful with transporting chairs, toys, coolers, and canopies. There were also security/police patrolling which was great because we typically have issues at beach vacations with thieves, and we never felt like that would be an issue. The house was very welcoming. The only downfall we experienced were mosquitoes, which was out of anyone’s control. (we did experience precipitation). I only mention this so anyone staying might bring spray or a fogger. Would recommend this property again.

Just as the listing says, this house is newly remodeled including a great double deck to watch the sun rise and ocean! It's not directly on the beach but you can see the ocean and its a 3 min walk to beach. We would forget something and walk back to the house to grab it and back to beach. The house has very comfortable beds and living room/ kitchen was really our go to for hanging out, cooking and entertaining. Kitchen is stocked with basics you need for cooking and decor is very beach calm and modern like in the pics. We also enjoyed the area below for cooking and hanging out yard is good for your fur babies to enjoy. Definitely a place to stay if you are going to beach time. Stocked with all sorts of fun beach stuff including a temporary shade which came in handy. Owners were amazing and we did not have any issues.
