About this cabin rental
Welcome to the new 2022 luxury cabin, Majestic Oaks Lodge! This is a 3 bedroom/2.5 bathroom custom built home that was thoughtfully designed to enjoy the incredible Smoky Mountain views from every room. The cabin is pet friendly and can comfortably sleep up to 8 guests. It includes amenities such as high speed internet and a large outdoor firepit area. Majestic Oaks Lodge is centralized to all of the popular destinations being only 8.6 miles from Bryson City, 15 miles to the Nantahala Outdoor Center, and 20 miles to the Harrah’s Cherokee Casino. Some other fun activities in the area are the Smoky Mountain Railroad, hiking, kayaking, horseback riding, waterfalls, white water rafting, ziplining, and the Smoky Mountain National Park.
Majestic Oaks Lodge is surrounded by over 20 uninhabited acres and is located within the beautiful Battle Branch Community. The cabin is located at the end of the road and has the ultimate feeling of seclusion and privacy for your family to enjoy spending time together. Once you arrive, you will be taken away by the breathtaking long range views. The centerpiece of the picturesque view is Clingman’s Dome, which has an elevation of 6,643 ft, and is the highest point in the Smoky Mountains National Park.
Upon entering the cabin through the speakeasy door, you will immediately feel the sense of home. The cabin boasts knotty pine tongue & groove walls and ceilings throughout creating the ultimate feeling of serenity and comfort. Once inside you will find a fully functioning kitchen that will meet your every need. Adjacent to the kitchen is the dining room which includes a custom built dining room table that can easily accommodate 8 guests. There is also additional seating for 2 guests at the kitchen countertop if the table isn’t quite enough. In the dining room there is a sliding glass door that leads out to the large wrap around deck. There is a Weber gas grill located just outside the door where you can grill your favorite foods while enjoying the mountain view from the deck.
Back inside you will find all of the beautiful brand new furnishings that were handcrafted by the talented woodworkers in the Bryson City area. Beyond the kitchen/dining room is the cozy living room that has high vaulted ceilings and large bay windows. Relax on the sofa by the beautiful gas fireplace that has an impressive two story stone chimney. From the sofa you can enjoy the beautiful mountain views or watch Television from the 55” Smart TV neatly placed on the fireplace mantle. The sofa is a sleeper sofa that has a queen sized bed pullout.
Beyond the living room is the master bedroom suite which has a very comfortable King size bed. The master bedroom has its own private bathroom which includes his/her sinks, standup shower, and a walk-in closet. This room also has private access to the deck through its own sliding glass door. Sneak out to enjoy the misty morning mountain views as the sun comes up over the horizon. There is also a 43” Smart TV provided in this room.
After walking up the custom hand-hewn stairs to the second floor, you will find two additional bedrooms, full bathroom, and loft. The first upstairs bedroom has 2 twin size handmade log framed beds. There is a 32” Smart TV provided in this room. The second upstairs bedroom has a queen size bed and includes a 43” Smart TV. The upstairs bathroom has a tub/shower combo which is accessible from both the loft and private entrance from the queen bedroom. The loft also has a futon which folds out into a queen sized bed.
ROKU is provided on all TV's for you to log into your own personal streaming service accounts (ie Netflix, Disney+, etc.). High speed internet is included, however, no cable TV/streaming service is provided.
The gravel roads leading up to the cabin are well maintained and are accessible by most vehicles, however, it is strongly recommended to have four wheel drive during inclement weather.
Majestic Oaks Lodge is pet friendly allowing up to two dogs that are under 50 pounds. There are two crates available to utilize during your stay.
There is one external security camera located on the entry side of the cabin facing the driveway and parking area only.

This cabin was beautiful and the views were the best we’ve ever had whether in Tennessee or North Carolina. Lots to do close by as well. We went to Cherokee and Bryson City one day, rafted down the Nantahala another and our last day took the dogs on a long hike. Perfect combination of family time and down time. I highly recommend.

Great cabin! Loved the views and peacefulness. The kitchen had everything you need and more. Appreciated all the extras for our Lab pup! Such a great location…wished we booked another day as we could sit on the deck and enjoy the views all day. Hope to visit again. Thanks for sharing this beautiful cabin.

This property was the perfect getaway in the mountains! The cabin was just as depicted, and the kitchen was fully stocked, including a full coffee bar of K-pods! We appreciated the very detailed directions of how to navigate up the mountain that the owners sent. It was clean and bright, and we appreciated having plenty of cleaning supplies for laundry and dishes, as well as paper products. The owners were thoughtful in supplying games, a gate for the stairs, and even kennels for dogs if needed. There was also a pack n play tucked into one of the closets, and laundry racks in each room. The check out process was also very easy and smooth. Thank you so much to Dan and Angela for hosting us!

Property was as described. Property was clean, well stocked and organized. We had one issue with the gas logs, contacted the owners and received a reply within 10 mins. Worked through getting the issue corrected. Overall great experience and would choose this property again!

This was the most gorgeous cabin with a spectacular view! Minutes from Bryson City’s Main Street and many trails. We really enjoyed time as a family, relaxing!

The cabin is really nice ! Everything very clean and organized ! The communication with Dan & Angela was excellent, they are very quick to respond and very helpful. My teen boys really enjoyed playing corn hole on the front deck. We also enjoyed the sunsets around the fire pit . I would definitely recommend this place !

We had an absolutely amazing time at Majestic Oaks Lodge! The views were breathtaking, the house was gorgeous and well-appointed and the location was remote yet close to Bryson City and surrounding towns. We enjoyed restaurants and bars and shopping in town, hikes in surrounding areas, as well as a trip to Smokemont stables, Fontana Dam, Cades Cove, and other local attractions. Thank you for sharing your stunning home with us and we hope to return again in the future.

My family and I take a cabin trip every year (this being the 5th year). This cabin and location has been the best yet! We loved how private/remote it was with the most amazing views you could ever want. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. Our kids loved the firepit (never ending s’mores) and corn hole. We recommend Nantahala National Forest for hiking and horseback riding. Our stay was so amazing that we booked an extra day - we didn’t want to leave.

Annual hiking trip with good friends. We enjoyed staying in a beautiful home at the top of the mountain which gave us great views.
Hiking in the Smoky Mountain National Park was perfect, even made it to Clingman’s Dome.
We took advantage of the restaurants in Bryson City and had a delicious dinner at the Bistro at the Everett Hotel and lunch at Bryson City Brewing.

This lodge did not disappoint, we were all impressed with everything about it. This place is newer construction that looks great inside and out and located on a quiet, secluded tract 3k feet up with views that would be hard to top. Everything was provided that we needed and more, very well done.

From the moment we arrived, it was evident that this place is more than just a lodge; it's a sanctuary. Nestled amidst the forest, the views and tranquility here provided the perfect backdrop for a memorable stay.
Every detail of the lodge, from its thoughtful amenities to its impeccable cleanliness, showcased the owners' dedication to ensuring guests have a comfortable experience. The welcoming basket and well-stocked kitchen made us feel right at home. Communication with the owners was both timely and courteous, addressing our questions effectively.
The nearby areas offer a variety of recreational activities. We engaged in rafting, hiking, tubing, and enjoyed beautiful boat rides on Fontana Lake. Each day brought new adventures and a deep appreciation for the natural beauty of the region.
For those requiring connectivity, the lodge offers a reliable fast internet connection. Despite its secluded feel, the property is a manageable 25-minute drive from Bryson City. Note that I would recommend an AWD vehicle for accessing the lodge due to the terrain.
Reflecting on our two-week stay, it served as an ideal break from the fast-paced life of NYC. We wholeheartedly endorse the lodge for those seeking a quality retreat. Our appreciation goes out to the owners for their outstanding hospitality and for facilitating a memorable stay. If you're in search of a top-tier lodging experience in nature, this lodge should be on your list.

An amazing place, we enjoyed our short break in the cabin at top of the mountain (almost) with a nice view of Smokey from the cabin. Very peaceful on your own but within driving distance from most attractions. Personal touch and attention to details from Dan and Angela in the cabin provided a very comfortable stay. Five star hands down!

Y’all, stop searching! The privacy, the view, the proximity to all the stuff, the way it’s clean and stocked… We stumbled onto this property last year and have already introduced additional friends to this great place to stay in the Bryson City area. For crowds of 8 or less you can’t find better. Book it today and be ready to abandon other plans just to hang out longer “at the house.” We’ll be back (yet again).

We spent 2 weeks enjoying the wonderful views at Majestic Oaks Lodge with our 2 four legged boys. While we did encounter a couple of bumps, the owners were very responsive and went above and beyond to quickly resolve the situations. The home came fully stocked with everything you could need in the kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms and laundry room, just bring the food. Got a lot of use of the grill and enjoying dinner on the patio set overlooking the mountains. WiFi was great as it allowed us to work and take video calls. The home is beautifully decorated with luxury blankets and bath mats that were very soft and comfy.
Also the bear that came to check out the patio was a very neat (slightly scary) experience for me and was the talk of the trip! Great memories were made and hope future guests enjoy the home as much as we did.

This home is everything it says it is! The views are stunning! Each day we woke up to the most gorgeous scene! Such a peaceful location. No noises, just us and nature..we loved every minute of our stay. Location is close enough to GSM National Park for hiking..Bryson City is such a charming town. The house had everything we needed! My family of four, three in our 50s and one 80+, had a wonderful time in this cabin. The view was fantastic and has everything we could hope for. Our only recommendation would be to add some rocking chairs to the balcony. The high deck chairs were not easy for us to navigate.

Great cabin for our family of four. Could easily have accommodated more guests. Kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed to prepare dinners in. End of the road privacy at the top of the mountain just as described and the view was fantastic. It was our home away from home. The kids actually became emotional because they didn’t want to leave. Our first VRBO experience and Magestic Oaks easily exceeded our expectations.
