About this house rental
This spacious two-bedroom condo overlooks the San Miguel River and is just steps from the Bear Creek Falls trailhead, Town Park, historic downtown Telluride, the free gondola, and Lift #8.
Newly remodeled, this 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom hillside condominium has excellent views of the San Miguel River from its expansive deck. You'll find new paint and flooring throughout the entire home. The bedrooms — including one king suite and a second bedroom with double beds — have fresh carpet and newer mattresses. You'll also find a twin pullout loveseat for even more space.
To enter the home, guests descend a few steps down from the parking lot level. There is a ski locker and plenty of storage in the hall for hiking gear or skis. From the entryway, the home opens to an ample living space, complete with a dining room, living room, and kitchen.
The living area is inviting, with a gas-burning fireplace and large sliding doors that bring the outdoors inside. The doors open to a deck with a seating area perfect for taking in the sounds of the San Miguel River!
Inside, the living room is adorned with a cozy leather sofa, two ottomans, and a loveseat that pulls out into a twin bed. There is a flatscreen TV, Roku, Blu-ray DVD player, and games for guests to enjoy.
The newly renovated kitchen has granite countertops and recently updated appliances, making cooking and entertaining easy. There is also a toaster, blender, microwave, and everything you need to make a complete meal. The breakfast bar has four stools for casual seating and is open to the dining room, which has a large table that can seat up to eight guests.
The bedrooms and bathrooms are down a short hall from the living room. The primary bedroom has a California king bed and a large, wall-mounted flatscreen TV. A large window in the primary suite allows guests to take in the nearby hillside. The primary ensuite bathroom has a shower/tub combination, an oversized tub in a custom tile surround, and a granite countertop vanity.
The second bedroom features two double beds. There is a bathroom accessible from the hallway that has a step-in steam shower in a custom stone tile enclosure and a granite countertop vanity.
A private stacked washer and dryer are in the hall closet. Guests can enjoy wifi, a great location, and a ski locker outside this home.
The Riverside complex has two outdoor hot tubs with glass surrounds to enjoy the trees and views.
Downtown Telluride, the gondola, and Lift #8 are all within two short blocks of Riverside. Town Park is a stone's throw to the east, and the Bear Creek trailhead is just off the parking lot.

We loved being by the San Miguel River tucked just inside the tree line at the mountain base within a short walk to the ski lifts, the free gondola to Mountain View, and the Historic side of downtown Telluride. In the morning we enjoyed the view watching the snow and people walk their dogs along the river right outside our window. They all were so happy to play in the snow. The fireplace is warm and cozy, and we found all the TV shows we like to watch with the included Roku. The lockers for your ski’s are just outside the front door, and the entrance has a built in bench to store your boots and a shelf for hats and helmets with pegs to hang your jackets. The kitchen has everything you need to cook your favorite meals. The beds are all comfy, and the rooms stay warm. There is a walking path along the river to the Nordic Center with the most beautiful views of the mountains that goes through a beaver preserve and it’s absolutely gorgeous! We just loved our Riverside retreat and can’t wait to come back.

The condo was very clean and easy to get to the main street in town for dinner and the gondola for skiing. Great location for a fun family ski vacation. Thank you for a wonderful family trip!

My collleague and I stayed 13 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Perfectly clean and comfortable with heating control in every room.
Communication with the property manager was almost immediate and any issues resolved easily.
You can ski out and back in (if you locate the Bear Trail off Telluride Trail - take it slow!) which made the Accom ideally located just 5 min walk into town and super quiet. Would highly recommend.

The condo fit our family of 5 with one sleeping on the couch beacuse the pull out wasn’t that comfortable. It was clean and well equipped. The best part was the location. It was about a 5 minute walk to gondola and all restaurants in town which was awesome. The management company was very responsive to any requests and questions. They always responded in a timely manner. The hot tub in the complex wasn’t very hot which was a bit of a bummer. Would have loved to used that after a long day of skiing but not a deal breaker. Overall a nice place to stay.

Great location for a place to stay. We were able to get to the gondola and do some shopping all within walking distance. Place was just like the pictures. We really enjoyed our stay.

Really nice property with great views and easy walking access to downtown. Our only complaint is with the TV. The only thing that was available was Roku, so could not watch any sports or anything like that. A place that nice , at that price, should provide a full channel lineup.

Practically Ski In/Ski Out
Excellent service, very comfortable and spacious for 4 adults (two in each room) - could likely fit more.
With good snow, you can ski practically from the condo (down the river path) to the Oak St. Lift, and there is a cat track off of Telluride Trail (ski run) that ends back at the street twenty steps from the front door.
We had some issues with the fireplace and WiFi upon arrival, but Alpine Lodging was very responsive and fixed both within minutes to hours.
Highly recommend as a ski stay for 4-6 people.

The condo was great! We enjoyed Telluride so much. It's location makes it easy to get to many attractions. We highly recommend it.
The condo was very clean and had all the essentials, even laundry soap. It was a nice touch. All the beds were comfy.
The only con for us was the leather sofa in the living. It wasn't very comfortable. It's not a deal breaker because we spent most of our time outdoors. However, we found ourselves fighting (friendly) Lol over the little sofa because ithat one was comfortable.
The check in/out process was very easy and stress free. Go ahead and reserve this great place, you won't regret it. We can't wait for our next trip to Telluride.

Great place to stay for experiencing Telluride
The home was perfect for our family who came for the Ride Festival. We love being close to the park, town,stream, and hiking trails. Beds were cozy and house is equipped with all the basics for our stay. We were able to enjoy the hot tub after our hike Great stay and can't wait to return next summer.

Very Pleasant & Convenient
This is a lovely place to stay. It's well-equipped, spacious, convenient, and easy to find. On the negative side there were a few minor problems. There were no instructions on how to operate the living room TV, the telephone does not work because there is a wire missing from the Wifi connection, the fireplace did not work, and four of the dining room chairs are coming apart. On the second day of our stay we finally figured out how to work the TV and a maintenance person came to fix the fireplace but he did not have the required connection to hook up the phone. The chairs remain unusable. In spite of these items, we enjoyed our stay and will come again.

Decent value but some issues
Condo wasn't ready at agreed check in time. Location is good--close to restaurants and shops, but requires a 5 min walk to gondola, which is challenging with ski gear and small kids.
Lock box frozen and difficult to use. Not enough bath towels. No kitchen towels.
Bed sheets stiff. One of the sheets was stamped with "property of US government"--was this army surplus? Very rough toilet paper--management should spend a few cents more for a better brand!

We LOVED everything about this condo!
My husband and I stayed here for part of our honeymoon. Pictures do not do this condo justice. It is so homey and clean. We loved that it was walking distance from EVERYTHING! The owners even left us a delicious bottle of wine and a sweet note. We would definitely recommend this place to our friends and family members!

This Riverside Condo was a warm and inviting home away from home.
My only suggestion to other guests is to bring with you every non-durable thing you might want in a kitchen, or prepare to stock it upon arrival. There is not so much as salt and pepper, no trash bags, plastic wrap, baggies etc.
The condo is in a great location with easy access to everything, including the lovely walking path along the river.

Lovely condo and perfect location
Our family had a wonderful time staying in this condo. Check-in was quick and easy, getting to the condo and parking a breeze. We just had a set of stairs to lug our belongings down which did not cause any difficulties.
Pros:
- location -- close to Main Street, restaurants, gondola and the river trail (which was our favorite) and literally at the trailhead for Bear Creek trail. It was a short but beautiful walk to Town Park.
- condo was clean, beautifully decorated and spacious enough for our family of 5
- washer & dryer and amenities
- balcony seating
- very welcoming management
Cons:
- the balcony railing was too far apart and a hazard for young children falling through. We had three young kids (all 3 could fit their heads through the rails) and it was stressful keeping the smallest safe - he could have easily slipped through and there was a large rock one level below he could have fallen on.
- the immediate view is of a small pond that sits next to the river trail before the river. It looked like a mosquito breeding ground. Was not the prettiest pond but the trees and sound of the river were nice.
- bring your own salt and pepper etc. We were surprised that there were no cooking basics.
Overall a good place for the price and location but may not stay again due to the railing hazard.
