About this apartment rental
First built in the 1860s, this former farmstead boasts a storied past with breathtaking surroundings to boot. You'll find it blissfully nestled at the foothills of the Catskill Mountains, perched on ten acres of private land and oozing rural charm. Here, you're a five-minute drive from Durham, where small-town charm meets the untouched and untamed beauty of the wilderness.
With its idyllic location and abundance of amenities, this home promises an unforgettable stay. Inside, the newly renovated interiors charming vintage touches, from the generous scattering of antique furniture to the statement spiral staircase to the majestic wood-burning stove. After hiking in the Catskills or exploring the intriguing tangle of towns dotted along the Hudson Valley, you'll love spending your downtime here, enjoying a game of foosball or curled up with a cup of tea in one of the many reading nooks.
We're completely in awe of this home's outdoor spaces, which beckon you to spend time in the splendour of your surroundings. Spend your days exploring the vast, leafy grounds and, if you're visiting in the autumn, go apple picking on the farm. On balmy summer evenings, enjoy an alfresco feast on the terrace, rustled up on the Weber grill, before gathering around the fire pit to toast marshmallows under the stars.
