About this house rental

This is a custom built oceanfront home with spectacular views of the distinctive blue green waters of the Atlantic Ocean and pristine beaches of Emerald Isle. Our expansive deck allows everyone room to spread out enjoying the ocean breeze and either the sun or shade, you decide! Two outdoor showers for your convenience.
This spacious home has all the amenities you will need. Feel free to use any of our beach gear, chairs, tents, toys.

You can grill outdoors on the deck or enjoy using our top of the line Thermador gas range. Of course you are only 10-15 minutes from the wonderful local restaurants of EI if you choose not to cook.

Washing off that sun and sand is easily accommodated in either of the two large walk in tile showers. No need to worry about running out of hot water either as we have a
newly installed, 2022, tankless hot water heater.

Our home is just 6 miles from Emerald Isle town center where you will find restaurants, shopping, a movie theater, mini golf, post office, and Bogue Inlet Pier. Swansboro, Morehead City, and Beaufort are all easy drives and are fun to explore. Hammocks Beach State Park, the North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores and Fort Macon offer great activities for the whole family. Bring your bikes and ride on the bike path that stretches the length of Emerald Isle.

We typically require 7 day stays during peak season but are happy to try to accommodate your desired length of stay, just message me!

Our family has been coming to Emerald Isle for decades. In fact, they built the second house on Emerald Isle, The Dean Cottage. It is still standing and rich with history, just a few miles down Ocean Drive! We love the quiet beaches, the emerald waters and needed a larger cottage to accommodate our growing family. This house was a perfect match and Penny was the perfect host. She was very responsive, the house was exactly as pictured and described, the check in process was incredibly easy, and the house was immaculate. We would absolutely return in a heartbeat.

What a gem! The inside of this house was clean, updated and cozy. We went with our 8 and 5 year old which had no problem staying upstairs in the bunk beds. They even had an attached bathroom to their room which was helpful at night. Right across the hall was the primary bedroom which had its own attached bathroom as well! Private trail to the beach, outdoor showers, beach toys, chairs, shade structures this place had everything we needed. Wonderful place to stay

We knew from the pictures this was a beautiful house, but the pictures do not do it justice. The house is stunning and the attention to details make it phenomenal. From the layout and decor of the house to the small, unexpected details the owner provided, the attention to every need is evident. This was our family’s first experience staying in Emerald Isle but won’t be our last. My family all agreed that coming back to this house is a must as it has spoiled us and staying elsewhere would pale in comparison. Working with the owner was excellent as well. She was not only professional but personable, too. She was prompt and clear in replying to questions and messages. She was helpful and insightful about the house, its amenities, and the local area. In short, we could not have had a better experience and are appreciative of the opportunity to work with her and to stay in her lovely home.

This was a lovely retreat for my husband and I and our two dogs. The home has beautiful ocean views from every room. The house is bright and clean with a wonderful deck which includes a shower and hose for easy cleaning of the pooches. The host was very accommodating and responsive.

Hard to find a free-standing home with only 2 bedrooms and then to have that home being much newer construction, located mid-island out of the hustle and bustle of the more populated areas, steps from the beach. Oceanfront Oasis was a great find 3 years ago & the new owner PENNY HOOVER has been much better to work with than the original owner we had dealt with in year 1.

This place was truly amazing. When we walked in we were blown away by the stunning views from all windows of the house. Pictures do not do it justice. We had a small hiccup checking in but it was sorted out very quickly. Penny was amazing to work with and was VERY helpful with the whole booking and check-in process, as well as responding to any questions we had quickly. Truly a dream place to stay. Also, any place that allows us to bring our dogs is an extra bonus. Top notch amenities and all beds made when you arrive so you can start enjoying your stay as soon as you walk through the door. I promise you won't regret booking your stay at this beautiful home.

The house was super clean not a bit of dirt or dust. Every room in the house was amazing and updated appliances. The views being beach front are amazing and from the top floor you can see the water on the other side of the island. Tv has surround sound perfect for watching movies with the family after a long day on the beach. Has its own easy access to the beach. Great deck area with a gas grill. Check in and check out was easy and great communication with the propert manager. The area is overall amazing and could not recommend the property more. We will absolutely being coming back to this property every time we come to the area for vacation hopefully every year from now on!

This property was everything it says in the description and more. We had a lovely time watching and playing in the ocean. The view is unbelievable. The house is beautiful and comfortable. Perfect beach house on a long lovely stretch of wide beach. Quiet residential area, a bit of a drive to for groceries, etc. Easy place for two addults and two elderly well behaved dogs, but lots of steps to get in the house and get to the beach.

Beautifully decorated with comfortable furnishings and appointed with upscale appliances such as a Thermador Stove. We were pleased the moment we arrived at this beautiful property. The house is well appointed and comfortable. The view is spectacular. We enjoyed walking to the beach right outside and having our coffee and meals looking out the window at the beautiful ocean waves. Penny was helpful if we had a question about anything. Absolutely Beautiful Home! The Ocean View show cased by Full floor to Ceiling Windows and Easy Access to to the beach with outdoor showers with tension wire railings which again allow for unobstructed views of the Ocean. Gourmet Kitchen Top End that actually made me want to cook on vacation!! 🤣 Butler Pantry which was perfect for Snack Commander Center with Preteens!! OMG SOAKER 🛁 Tub! Bubble Baths with a View form the Master Suite of the Ocean. Penny the Owner was gracious and very attentive and excited to make her renter experiences optimal. We stayed with my hubby, daughter 13 & Son 11 Years & dog & it was perfect.. still had bed options with 3 more beds available… Even though the beach has public access really it was more private and the only people that were accessing the beach was from the private homes. It is far enough away from the main parking area for Public Beach that we had the beach all to ourselves.. Dusk / Evening Swims, Sunrise Walks on the beach, body surfing, shelling, GHOST CRAB Hunting after dark by flash light 😂🤣 I am sure we had some neighbors scratching their Heads 🤣🤣 So Many Memories Made & Look Forward to Returning!!!
