Located in beautiful and picturesque Little Compton, on 3.77 acres of private land, and only1.2 miles from South Shore Beach. House sleeps up to 8 and is the perfect spot for families, friends, and couples alike! Spend each morning sipping coffee on the screened in porch or go for a misty morning stroll around the field and watch the deer and rabbits come and go. Once the sun sets, relax by the fire in the fire pit and listen to the crickets and sounds of the night with a glass of wine in hand and a cozy blanket. Once the summer sun is gone and the leaves start to turn golden, hunker down with some hot chocolate or warm apple cider (Little Compton is great in the fall!). 3 bedrooms upstairs (2 queen bed and 1 full bed) and 1 bedroom downstairs (queen bed), 1.5 bathrooms, central air conditioning, games, open concept dining/living room floor plan, galley kitchen, screened in porch, and conveniently located near everything Little Compton has to offer!

We had a wonderful vacation in Little Compton. Just wait until you see this spectacular property! The outdoor spaces - patio, sun deck, outdoor shower, fire pit, lawn are all wonderful and there is so much privacy. The house is large and comfortable with nice touches like throw blankets, plenty of beach towels and a well equipped kitchen. The hosts of this property truly go above and beyond. At the beginning of our stay there was an unavoidable issue and the hosts were proactive, communicative and responsive. We knew that everything would be taken care of and it was. To me this speaks volumes and I look ok forward to staying here again.

A great place to relax and slow down. I had a great time with some friends and checking out Westport nearby to sample some of the local wine. Didn't end up going to the beach, but it was pretty close and the waves looked surfable from a distance. I'll have to bring a board when I come back some day. The hosts were very responsive and kind and even left me a thoughtful hand written note.

This is a lovely home and is even better than the pictures. The home was booked to celebrate a birthday milestone with family. The house comfortably handled 8 adults. The outdoor setting was gorgeous...and don't miss out on the outdoor shower...it is amazing. We want to come back for a longer visit to take in all the area has to offer.

Perfect Three Generation Family Vacation! Dawn and Rick’s home in Little Compton is so lovely. Surrounded by extensive lawns and gardens, staying there was a peaceful and serene experience. Playing games outside, reading for hours around the fire pit, spotting the bunnies, woodchucks, butterflies and birds made for lots of fun and laughter! We walked easily to the beach and the Commons. We had a delightful tour at the Alpaca Farm across the road too!. The best, unexpected luxury was the outdoor shower! Thank you for having everything we could need including chairs and Turkish towels for the beach. It was so difficult to leave and we will definitely come back to stay!

We have enjoyed visiting LC for all too many years and never cease to appreciate it serenity and beauty, This rental was the best! Comfort and convenience are high on our list of priorities, and this rental checked all the boxes. Great to pack up and walk away at the end---no sheets or towels or annoying arrangements. For the last 10-15 years we have expressed the wish that the 'beach committee' would make access to the shore safer for older folks---it would take so little effort. But, thanks to kind people willing to give a little boost I can get back up the rocky drop.

I truly am without words to describe how perfect our stay was and how perfect this home was for our family. This was our 5th year coming to Little Compton to vacation and with our growing family and past vacation homes being sold, we needed to find the perfect one. And we did. A mile from the beach and the the most beautiful, pristine grounds, eat off the floor (we didn’t don’t worry) clean home it was one we hope to revisit year after year for years to come. There were so many “little” touches that went such a long way with us and added so much charm to the home. We loved sipping our coffee on the screened in porch and playing hide and seek in the expansive yard. The outdoor shower was a dream after hot active beach days. The bedrooms were perfect for our 8, 5 and almost 2-year-old and were so clean and comfortable. We loved building a bonfire and looking at the moon on one of our last nights. The Nitro coffee bar at Walkers was an every day visit for us and of course getting lobsters from Sakonnet Lobster to cook at home. I could go on but then this would be a chapter book… Dawn and Nick were incredible hosts and were super fast at responding to us (like when we had car trouble and needed a recommendation for a nearby mechanic). Can’t believe we have to wait a whole year to go back!

We have stayed at numerous places in Little Compton over the years and this one is our new favorite. The house is wonderful, lovely and comfortable, (and has a great AC), but what really sets this place apart is the enormous yard. My daughter and I had such a great time walking around every morning and evening, encountering snails, rabbits, woodchucks, chipmunks, and so many different birds. The pictures are great, but do not capture how well this place is designed and landscaped. It's also in the perfect location.

Dawn’s place was perfect. The house was clean, beautiful and in great condition. The grounds were stunning, peaceful and relaxing. Dawn was a warm and welcoming host and super responsive. We will definitely be back!

Our stay at this home in Little Compton was wonderful. Our family of 6 adults enjoyed our time together over the Thanksgiving holiday. We we able to join extended family and friends at their own homes and were able to relax and sleep at this home in Little Compton. An added plus was being close to the beach for walks as well as being close to small town shopping. This home was immaculate. Thank you

Possibly the most beautiful summerhouse we will ever stay at! Perfect location for a peaceful, quiet get-away, beautiful house, so very tastefully furnished and decorated, beautiful grounds all around the house and about the cleanest and neatest we have ever seen as well! Enjoyed a wonderful weekend with my wife, mother in law and 2 year old daughter at this quaint and comfortable property. Dawn was fantastic to work with. Used this a base of operations to explore other nearby points of interest in New England. Be sure to have a car to get around as a bit of the beaten traffic but well worth the drive. 5/5 reccomend.

We could not have asked for a better place to spend some much-needed family time! Dawn was the absolute perfect host, going above and beyond to make our kids and us feel comfortable in her beautiful home. Ahead of our arrival, she very thoughtfully installed plug protectors in all the outlets for our little one. She also stocked the house with extra touches like kids' books and games, ingredients for s'mores and the best local coffee for us adults! She and Nick even dropped off coloring books and crayons for our older child midway through the stay, which she loved. We felt very welcomed and taken care of, with any questions we had being answered within minutes. Amazing! The home itself is perfection and some days we didn't even want to leave. We loved reading on the screen porch, combing through the collection of board games and running around the huge lawn, spotting bunnies. We also enjoyed many meals on the patio. Dawn has a great eye and the decor is exactly what you'd want in a New England beach house, plus the open kitchen-dining-living space makes it perfect for a family. The home is very well equipped with everything you could need for cooking, a great new washer and dryer, more than enough towels, etc. Dawn has thought of every detail. The location is also excellent, just minutes from South Shore and other beaches, as well as many local farms where you can buy fresh produce and prepared foods, pick berries, even visit alpacas! There are some great nature walks and a playground at the local school, just perfect for kids. We found we had everything we needed within minutes and discovered several cafes and restaurants we loved in the area. It was such a happy, relaxed time that we ended up extending our trip, which Dawn was extremely kind in accommodating. I cannot express our gratitude for her and our joy at finding her home. We are dreaming about what it would be like to visit during other seasons and already are plotting a return! Thank you again, Dawn and Nick, for your fabulous hospitality.

We happened upon this lovely property out of chance, but it ended up being one of our favorite VRBO stays anywhere. It is peaceful, serene, rustic, well provisioned and extremely comfortable. We felt surrounded by nature but still conveniently located to beaches, organic farms, local fish and ice cream spots etc. Dawn and Nicholas were wonderful and professional to deal with while also being very personable. They live their values of caring for the environment which we appreciated and have a truly special spot for relaxing away from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

The communication with Dawn prior to arriving was superb and pleasant, she’s a very accommodating hostess. The house is adorable, clean and well decorated great ambience to spend time with the family! The grounds are well kept and makes the experience even more enjoyable. Easy walk to the beach and fabulous area to explore. Highly recommend!

My husband and I and our two teenage daughters thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this gorgeous house! It was the perfect home base from which to explore Providence, Newport, Cape Cod, Provincetown and Boston as well as Little Compton and the surrounding towns. The house itself had more than enough room for the four of us and was very well appointed with everything we needed to cook in the kitchen and on the gas grill on the patio. The property is beautiful and very private. We walked to the beach and to the nearby farmer's market and especially loved sitting by the fire pit making s'mores in the evening. Dawn and Nick were lovely hosts and very responsive. I wouldn't hesitate to stay at this sweet house again!
