Rachel, the host was very helpful.
Location. There is nothing to do outside the property.

We found the rural location great yet short distance to town. A lot of things to do and see and two beaches nearby. The setting around apartment were spectacular with the Lough and forest. A wide range of ages in our group and something for everyone. The 3 bedrooms/ensuite bathrooms were spotlessly clean with comfortable beds and quality bedding and towels.
Everything met our expectations

We had a great 3 night stay with family. Loved having 3 full bathrooms. The location was handy and easy to get to. Loved the view of the lake.
Could have used more linens and pillows.

Location and space
Pillows were unclean, no shoee gel, which was not mentioned, as there is no shops around it's better to provide small shower gel and hand wash in each toilet.

The bed was super comfy and the view was amazing.

The surrounding
That property is co managed under the name "Lila Lake Resort" the owner of this property runs and manage it under different name. Since there is no reception desk for Lila lake resort you will clearly experience the difference when you happen to ask help from the other team.

The location was stunning and the person who welcomed us was very friendly.
The fire doors in the bedrooms were a bit heavy for the younger kids to push open.

The views were stunning and it was comfortable and clean.
When we drove in expexting luxury aparthotel and realised it was blocks of student apartments it came as a massive shock.

The view was incredible, it was a very quite place close to the lake and sligo by car (there are no buses available). The house itself was good, with a well equipated kitchen and bedrooms.
- There was only cold water to shower in the bathrooms;
- One of the bedrooms had a funny smell;
- There was no staff waiting for us at the check in and we had to wait 30min until the girlfriend of one of the owners arrived and gave us the keys;
- The owners did not pick up the phone nor responded to our messages at the check-in neither when we asked for warm water to shower;
- The TV did not work

The Views and Maeve was lovely.
The closest door to our apartment was not working properly so we had to walk around the back to gain entry, there were a load of dead flies on one of the bedroom windows which he had to hoover up as it was just disgusting to look at, the pillows were flatter than pancakes which cause me sever neck pain and lack of sleep, there was a broken glass in the press that my children could have cut their hands o if i didn't get to it first (i left this on the counter when leaving for you to see), The TV had no stations, half the leather was missing from the chairs which made them very uninviting to sit on. The leather chairs around the table were the same they were flaking as we were sitting on them so there was black all over the floor. The word "luxury" should not be included in the name of these apartments as they are far from. You should also advise people they are actually student accommodation hence the set up of them. Unfortunately we will not be back after our experience here. I found it to be quite expensive for 2 nights for what we experienced.
2.5
The view and the en-suite facilities
condition of furniture unable to sit on as left residue on clothing and bits all over apartment,TV not working was told about this but no acknowledgement to reply to email,gym advertised but no access to as owner would not let us use according to office,poor quality of bedding pillows and duvet.

The views stunning and apartment was very clean .
Didn't like that we couldn't get in with keys for hours as they knew this was a problem for weeks and with small children wasn't nice been locked out from 3pm till 6pm They said people were getting locked out r in apartments . No TV working they did say about this before we checked in. But it had been like this for months. Not happy as we had planned a family holiday and we dissatisfied.

The view was great, the en suite facilities suited our group.
The window glass was cracked. The tv was not available, the settee and armchairs were completely worn and shedding plastic all over our clothing. We had to sit on towels. The kitchen surfaces, table and chairs were grubby and sticky. The floor was dirty and had food on it near bin. The baking tray in the oven was dirty and greasy, the frying pan and saucepan were dirty and unusable, we wanted self catering but ate out the whole time we were there. The refrigerator had been turned off and the ice box had defrosted and leaked onto the floor.

This apartment is located in an ideal area if you are planning on going out or to use as a base for a trip around Sligo/Mayo. A group of 6 of us stayed here for a night as we went out in Sligo town for the night. I have no complaints about this apartment, ours was a penthouse apartment which overlooked Lough Gill (views were an added bonus!!). Maeve was very helpful and was always just a phone call away if we needed anything. All the rooms were big with balconies off them and had an en-suite, the place was clean, airy, and spacious. I would highly recommend LILA Apartments to anyone this apartment caters for anyone. Overall I couldn't fault it, we really enjoyed our stay.
