The AC in the room didnt work well, but the worst part for sure was the valet service they make you pay for. Took average of 15minutes or more to get our vehicle. Need more staff not the staffs fault just not enoigh valet workers.

For the price, I expected much more. Ice machine was broken and they are only available on the odd floors and with no refrigerator in the room, it was a hike up and down the stairs. Oh yeah, did I tell you it was over $400 per night? I'll stay elsewhere next time.

The room was clean. Looks like it had been redone on the inside. The mattress on the bed was all sunk in in the middle. Felt like a very old mattress. Room was kind of stuffy. But it was clean and got the job done for one night stay.

pretty good, beautiful hotel. only issue was the sink stopper didn’t work upon arrival so it couldn’t really be used

Nice hotel with good location.
Hotel restaurant Tavernonna vey disappointing, food cold, no atmosphere and overpriced

Hotel had a good vibe overall. Valet was no where to be found when I pulled up for assistance. Waited about 10- 15 mins and had to pay for the parking garage in the back. Also, the speakeasy was closed for a private event which was not told to me when I initially inquired priorr to checkin. I ended up having to go the neighboring hotel bar for drinks which was excellent. I probably won't reserve this hotel again.

Got there and someone was in our room. Went back down and got the room situation fixed. Came back to the room late, and the key cards didn’t work on the new room. Good thing the digital key did. The shower leaked water all over the bathroom floor. Went down for breakfast, sat down and no one would wait on us. Eventually just got up and left. The valet team was great, the bartender on Friday night was awesome, but overall, not sure if we will return on our next KC visit.

Nice hotel downtown walking distance to a lot of fun stuff
3.9
Beautiful and Classic. Areas to lounge with coffee in posh old world style, eat classic Italian while viewing the busy city walkway, and a quiet speakeasy with classy cocktails. Beds are comfy too!

Need some repairs, missing hardwares in bathroom - sliding door, toilet paper holder.
3.9
Only issue was with the ice machines. On alernate floors which wasnt an issue but most were not operational.
Also no mini fidge in the rooms to chill water, beer or wine.
3.9
Lovely property with friendly staff and a cool speakeasy in the basement. Near KMO sights

This place and its staff was awesome!

Had a decent stay here and it was a beautiful building. Not many amenities (no fridge, microwave etc in rooms) and a lot of the furniture was in rough shape. Nice location in Power and Light District, but would NOT recommend the restaurant in the hotel, especially with so many great restaurants within walking distance.

Loved the bar and restaurant and hotel ammenities. Hotel room didnt seems to be a 4* more of a 3*. Overall good experience

The rooms are a bit on the smaller side but expected for a boutique hotel. they were clean and updated.
3.9
Clean all around, friendly staff, great valet service
3.9
It was great
3.9
The staff was beyond my expectations. Very helpful and professional. Thank you for an excellent stay.

Room needed some attention. Tile missing in shower. Multiple spots needing paint touch up. Pretty average room for the premium price.
3.9
I enjoyed the ambience & history the hotel had to offer. It was cool to step into the past for the night.
3.9
Only thing I don’t like is paying for parking I feel that parking should be free or paid for once you have a room there
3.9
Really enjoyed our stay. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. Valet was easy and also extremely helpful. I usually stay at the bigger hotels when downtown but this was much more comfortable and felt cozy.

Great lovation, great stay
3.9
Great property even for being old. Very unique interior design, great onsite restaurant and "secret" speak-easy.
3.9
Love boutique hotels. The only complaints I have are
1. Smelled musty
2. Thin walls
Otherwise, we really liked
3.9
Classic historic wonderful beautiful location staff and the speak easy is amazing Thursday with great jazz THE BEST!!
3.9
There was no fridge in the room. Parking was expensive. The shower did not have a curtain so water got on the floor which is a slip hazard.
3.9
Dirty run down room.
3.9
This hotel was very cool with its art deco arcitecture and style, great speakeasy, excellent friendly service. Kansas Coty impressed me everywhere, but this hotel was definitely part of that.
3.9
Staff was very friendly and helped with recommending places to eat and enjoy KC
3.9
Enjoyed our quick weekend. Close to the free streetcar.

Everything was great except our a/c was barely keeping the room comfortable. It was late when got back to the room or we would have mentioned it. Otherwise, everything was exceptional and we will stay again if the opportunity comes!
3.9
The room was very nice, the air didn’t keep room very cool, very loud in the hallway with doors constantly closing and people loud. Location was amazing and could walk anywhere we needed.
3.9
Is was a short stay, but a very nice one. Room was big and comfortable beds. The shower was nice and hot, and all the amenities we could need.
