Beautiful facility! Luxurious room & bath. Perfectly curated decor. Booked guided park tour, horseback riding & jeep tour through activity coordinator. All were excellent. Highly recommend the Lodge!

I was excited to stay at the lodge because I was looking at renting the entire bunkhouse for my birthday weekend and meeting the staff to plan something fun.
Checkin was a bad sign. We arrived before 4pm and we didn’t expect our room to be ready but I also wasn’t expecting to never be notified that my room was ready and have to make it a point to notify the checking status that it was now past 4pm and it was time to get us into our room.
Overall our general experience was the property was under staffed and the staff that they do have is in training or not trained enough to feel confident in their roles.
Staff seemed like everyone was training which seemed odd for peak season.
F&B was horrible. I don’t balk at pricing but a $14 iced coffee was ridiculous.
Room service closed at 9:55 pm Saturday night instead of 10pm….it literally is printed that it closes at 10pm. Again another staffing issue.
For a hotel that is 4-5 years old, the staff was poor, and the condition of the room, patio was very tired.
That said it was a two night stay. A longer stay would have been very unfortunate and I don’t feel comfortable or confident that if I rent all 12 rooms in the bunkhouse for three days that my guest not I will have an enjoyable time.

Fantastic stay!! We feel so welcomed! We want to thank Alex and Dennis especially for their help!! The ground is kept in perfect condition. We wish that our stay is longer. Will definitely come back again!!

Excellent stay

The hotel itself is beautiful but the service is incredibly spotty. I felt like our comfort was a complete afterthought and the restaurant, cafe, and concierge seem to be completely understaffed. I feel like I definitely overpaid and the service absolutely does not match the high cost.
1) It was very hard and took very long to catch the shuttle to and from town.
2) The room cleaning was not great. Empty dishes were left around and it was not up to par at all.
3) Service at the restaurant is very slow. I was told they’re looking for a new chef and don’t have a general manager currently so hopefully this will change.
4) No one helped us with our bags when we first checked in.
Just not worth it.

An amazing property. Looking forward to coming back for another trip to Santa Fe. Everything about this property is first class!

We absolutely loved our room and stay at this resort. Very gorgeous and romantic. We can’t wait to go back.

The spa and yoga were wonderful, and the restaurant views, food and staff were all so welcoming and provided excellent service!

Customer service is next level. The property itself is very large, rooms and views are gorgeous, and amenities like the restaurant and spa are first class. This is a very special place!! I loved having a fireplace in our room and our large balcony. They think of everything.

We had an amazing time at this resort. We will definitely be back in the future.

An exceptional property. Worth every penny.

We loved our stay!

We enjoyed our stay but will triple check the room selection next time
I thought we booked king w bathtub and out door fire pit. Our room didn’t have either so while beautiful I had my heart set on enjoying the quiet bath time and private patio. It was too cold to be outside without fire. The spa also currently had no extra amenities like sauna steam whirlpool.

Bishops lodge is a great place to stay. They are very welcoming from the moment you arrive.
The property seems newer and the facilities are very nice.
I will make this my place when I am in Santa Fe.
4.7
The concierge and hospitality team is the best! Friendly, respectful and professional. I am staying here again.
4.7
Awesome helpful staff. Restaurants need better organization.

Lots of fancy scripting but the execution was poor. We asked for an accessible room. We had to go down ten stairs to get to the room. The stairs were in poor condition and the hand rail was pulling off their mounts. The room had no grab bars and the shower had a curb at the entry. It was the furthest thing from “accessible” and would not meet any ADA standard. The desk staff were not responsive and seemed poorly trained. The grounds staff were fantastic. The setting is beautiful. After all the taxes, etc. the room was $1,000.00 a night. It cost as much as a Swiss watch - it should run like one - it doesn’t.

Lots to love AND a few things to know.
LOVE: The property is gorgeous, the room we had was amazing (Grove) with the copper tub, there’s a lot of things to do with the pool, spa, hiking, horses, etc. The food at SkyFire was excellent with a variety of options. We also enjoyed the bar/lounge food for lunch one day. There was a postcard making activity, which was super fun too.
THINGS TO KNOW: During a busy summer holiday weekend, there was a ton of kids. The pool was overcrowded. Also, I was unable to get into yoga because they only have room for 5 people. For a resort with almost 100 rooms, you’d think they could accommodate more people for a yoga session. At SkyFire, the service was quite slow at dinner. Both nights it took a long time for anyone (other than the manager) to come to our table.
Overall, we’ll definitely visit again…probably during a different time of year to get a more peaceful vibe.

This Resort was outstanding.!

Stayed here on a solo trip and felt right at home! The room was beautiful, super clean and comfortable. If I ever needed anything, the staff was quick to respond. Everyone was super friendly. I loved being able to grab breakfast and coffee at the cafe, or pop downtown if I felt like going out.

Visited in January and got to experience the most beautiful snowy landscape while being in the most cozy and luxurious room. The only thing to be aware of is that the parking lot is going to be far away from your room, they do have large golf cart type vehicles to get people around. But we self parked and walked to our car most of the time to enjoy the scenery. There was an indoor and outdoor fireplace that you could turn on with a light switch. This was the best. I can’t stop thinking about this place.

The property is beautiful and well done. The staff was very nice.

A great stay for our family, made better by an excellent staff and amazing natural setting just outside of town.

Staff was amazing. Rooms were so comfortable and southwest chic

Truly a 5 star level service. Property is gorgeous!

Gorgeously designed resort with mastered interiors. Service was impeccable and they greet you by name. They thoroughly go above and beyond to meet your expectations and

Resort has 5-star potential but is operating at a 3-star level. You can tell they are early in launching as an Auberge and still figuring things out. Was disappointed in how some situations were handled (i.e. spa prices still $360 for a massage but they are running the spa out of a repurposed villa with no changing rooms or facilities ; hot tub was broken for half of our stay and they didn't seem to care much ; we were checked into a room with someone else staying in it, then checked into a room that wasn't what we booked before waiting several hours for them to figure something out). Overall staff was very friendly but they missed on what you'd expect from a resort at that price and rating. We enjoyed our stay, but felt the value was missing for what we spent.
4.7
Beautiful property and room and the prices reflect that. Unfortunately the services part which really matters is missing making one feel like a fool for spending 4K for a 4 night stay.
4.7
Beautiful new facility with great meals and friendly service. The weak point is that the rooms are up a steep hill and a long way from your car.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable was lots of space. Had breakfast and it was average but way over priced. The property is very large, secluded and quite. Did some horse back riding which was much better than I expected because of the 2 Roda and Devlin they were very entertaining, be aware that tip is automatically included are the ride.

The service was absolutely incredible! They are top notch there!

This hotel has been through a beautiful remodel. We got the standard room and I had to ask the valet if they accidentally gave us an upgrade. We had a huge front patio with a fireplace and another fireplace inside. The happy hour at the bar was a great deal! The staff was still working out a few bumps in their service but overall it was a great experience!
4.7
The staff at the front desk and at the restaurant was friendly but did not have the education and training that you do expect from an expensive 5 star resort. The food was good.
We felt that the operations was in a "test mode" and that the pricing was therefore too high, which reduces the interest of coming back in the future.

Excellent property, except it was closing in about 10 days for remodeling, so things had started to wind down, but everything we needed was available. Very quiet, unique property.Staff very helpful
4.7
The hotel was horrible. Very noisy air conditioning equipment and worst of all there was a rat in the wall.chewing on wood in the middle of the night. I would never recommend this place to anyone.
4.7
Beautiful place just north of Santa Fe, lots of hiking trails and pine trees abound. However we were a little disappointed that the health spa and restaurant were closed and the breakfast buffet they used to have was relegated to cheap cellophane wrapped muffins, lousy boxed cereal and two pots of coffee, decaf and regular which was out of coffee. They did have fresh fruit which was a plus. However the Santa Fe plaza is quite close and there are plenty of good places to have meals. I would definitely go back in a heartbeat in spite of their short comings this time around.
