Very comfortable stay.

Stayed one night. Comfortable hotel & friendly check in.

We added the gym and breakfast to our night away. Managed to use pool twice and the gym. Food and service lovely. Staff were friendly. The lady behind the bar was lovely, when had lunch as arrived earlier than planned. Plus we got in out room ealier also. So another plus. All round a lovely stop, sadly only one night stay was my negative. Thank you

Our so-called Luxury twin room lodge was surprisingly shabby and in need of renovation. Considering we were charged over £200/night I feel robbed!
Everything at the hotel is outdated and not well kept. The grounds need smartening up and the exteriors of the lodges should have been painted 2 years ago.
Our bathroom was tiny and outdated with a dirty shower curtain. The towels were old and small. The bathroom window though frosted only had a net up. I’m sure upper bodies are visible, privacy issue.
Hard to read the radiator valve settings as they were paint splashed (but not recent paint!)
Pool complex staff were friendly but the place could do with a facelift.
Restaurant menu quite limited. Food adequate but nothing special.
Lodge windows running within condensation even after using bathroom extractor and opening windows. Felt a bit damp and run down.
Location was convenient for us but our luxury lodge lacked creature comforts and any charm, so didn’t feel like a great location for couples long weekend away.

Superior family room was wonderful had everything we needed was comfortable

Staff very friendly and efficient at both check in and bar. Room was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Had an excellent meal served in the bar.

I love this hotel and stay every time I have a race in snowdonia. Staff are always great as are the rooms.
This time around however, Lodge 37, was very cold and the radiator wouldn’t come on.
Another thing was the fan in the bathroom, is is so loud and you can’t turn it off

Lovely setting of hotel in the countryside. All areas well maintained, comfortable and relaxing. Staff very helpful.
A big plus, having Wrexham Lager on draft!!
4.4
Staff very friendly and helpful. Free parking at venue. Good gym and pool and spa facilities. Breakfast was good . Room was clean and spacious. Near to mountains of Snowdonia.

Friendly staff. Rooms clean & comfortable. Hotel ideally situated with nice views in the area. Food was absolutely amazing. Highly recommend

Quaint hotel, reminded me of the lodge from Dirty Dancing. Short 5-10 minute walk into the centre area but it was perfect us a team. Food was incredible, both the evening and I must say one of the breakfasts I've ever had in any hotel ive ever stayed at. Will definitely return

Stayed for a two night "get away" for North Wales and the hotel was ideal for this. First impressions are that whilst the hotel and lobbies are up to date, the room was slightly dated in its decor however, it was very clean, the bed was comfortable and the there was no light pollution which led to a good nights sleep; it was also extremely quiet too. Breakfast which was good (scrambled eggs and salmon- yummy) and used the health club although the pool was full of kids, but it was school holidays so, book carefully. Overall, it was a good stay, the staff were all brilliant and I would happily book this hotel again.

Nice and friendly staff. Lovely lodge, which makes it feel more private, in a lovely place.
Good breakfast too. Loads of good walks straight from the hotel.

Unfortunately, our stay was subpar for the extortionate price.
Pros: ground floor rooms with allocated parking in front of the room entrance; early check-in; adequately clean
Cons: We paid £700 for 3 nights (4 guests, breakfast not included, pool entry not included, no extras) and we felt quite duped with how poor the quality of the rooms were. Everything was very very dated; our room was made up but our bedding was never changed once even though it was stained; bedding had old marks/stains on it; room smelt of sewage/drains; toilet paper was horrendous quality; no mobile shower head just a fixed one that directed the water straight down into the drain so was hard to shower without standing in the drain yourself; poor WiFi; train track right outside the room window which was not mentioned anywhere on booking or arrival; 2 out of 4 guests got bitten by something at night (windows were shut); rusty coil kettle, etc.
We were gone all day and only stayed the night and didn't look forward to coming back to the rooms and felt like we had lost our holiday savings and taken advantage of because of the location/season.
Budget hotels definitely put more effort into their rooms and comfort.
Lovely area, poor quality.

A short stay for us we found very pleasant. We stayed in one of the external rooms. A big plus for us was you can take your Dog for a small extra charge. The hotel has a dog friendly area and they are well catered for. The room had everything required for a comfortable stay.

We were made very welcome on arrival by the receptionist on duty. She informed us that we had been allocated a lodge to stay in with parking right outside our door which was fabulous as we were driving our classic car on this trip so we felt re-assured that the car was within eyesight of our accommodation. The village was a short walk away with all of the bars, scenery and facilities at hand. I would recommend this Hotel to anyone wishing to stay in Betws-y-coed as it was excellent in every way and made our stay relaxing and stress free! Thank you

Reception desk very helpful. Limited options on the restaurant’s menu. Prices for food high. Service in the bar area was slow. The accommodation was very clean but furnishings in the bathroom looked worn/ tired. The French windows wouldn’t open. We have used this hotel many times and the only time we felt disappointed.

hotel & staff excellent & friendly
good location only 10 minutes walk to centre
stayed in a lodge which did not have great soundproofing
would stay again but not in a lodge.

The room we had was very clean and in good order. It was one of the lodges that had its own parking outside that was very useful. The patio doors out to the private garden and garden furniture were a great touch. The bar and restaurant were great with a good selection of food and drinks.
4.4
Lovely hotel, just what was needed after climbing mountains. Good facilities, friendly staff and nice food.
4.4
The stay was pleasant and enjoyable, staff were friendly and welcoming, only negative was the tv said no signal when we switched it on. So mentioned it to hotel staff, they came and had a look. However couldn't seem to rectify the problem. So i had a look myself when we returned to the room in the evening and the aerial lead wasnt pushed completely into the wall socket, simple fix by myself. Just feel the hotel staff should have been able to do this for us after paying full price with extra's such like spa & breakfast.
4.4
Clean, comfortable and everything made easy!
4.4
The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Our only criticism is that there was only one shower curtain in the wet room. This was corrected immediately when we raised the issue,

Wonderful lodge (superior family), very friendly staff, lovely evening meal, breakfast only average

We stayed here as a group of 7 for a hiking weekend in Eryri/Snowdonia. The rooms, service and cleanliness were all good, the staff were always friendly and helpful.
The hotel is nicely located on the edge of Betws Y Coed, but all the shops, restaurants and pubs are only a few minutes walk away.
4.4
The location is perfect for all the attractions around the hotel, river and activities.
4.4
We stayed in one if the chalets amd were really impressed. Therebwere two bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs, plenty of seating downstairs, along with a dining area and another bedroom. The staff were friendly and the food in the restaurant was delicious. The pool and leisure centre were great and we made use of them. We will definitley stay here again.
4.4
great staff
great location
great value
4.4
This was excellent value for money as it included full spar access and your car is right outside the door of your personal lodge door.
4.4
Expedia said it would be the same price paying ahead or paying at the property, however when I checked in the hotel charged a fairly extortionate “exchange fee” from my credit card account in U.S. dollars to British pounds.
Other complaint is the bed was lumpy and not very comfortable. Otherwise, it’s a nice property with good restaurant and hiking trails right from the back.
4.4
Stayed here for two nights, facilities were excellent, rooms really spacious and well maintained. All staff cheerful and helpful, we really enjoyed our stay, thank you.
4.4
Overall the experience was very good however there was mould on the bath next to the shower screen!
